Talking Cats and the bathroom sink!

Am I the only one that has a cat that loves the bathroom sink?? I have a bowl of water on the floor for my cat and dog, but he will NOT drink out of it. Of course Molly (the dog)thinks it is just for her and shoves him out of the way if Tigger tries to drink out of it. lol Tigger will just sit on the counter with a very expectant look on his face until you turn the water on with a slow drip. Then he lays in there and lets it drip on his tail and he licks it off. Is my cat weird or are there others that do this!?

My mom's cat (before she had him put to sleep 5 years ago) used to climb up into the cabinets in the bathroom and sleep on the towels, tear apart the TP, and would NOT drink out of his water bowl, he would jump INTO the tub and drink from the tap... that is until he got an unexpected bath one night... LMAO... that was FUNNY!!!! All you heard was KERSPLASH and ROOOOWWWRRR!!!! Then you saw a wet cat go careening out of the bathroom looking like a drowned rat... LOL it was the funniest thing I had ever seen!!!!

CryBaby, my Maine Coon, loves to sleep in the bathroom sink (think he likes the coolness of the porcelain) and he prefers to drink his water out of the toilet!

lol Thanks for sharing all the stories! I had another cat that used to have to lay on the edge of the tub and stick his paw in the water. That all ended the day he fell in when I was taking a bath. Let's just say we both jumped out of that tub quick, but not quick enough.

Tigger sits by the sink when I'm brushing my teeth too. He tries getting in when I'm still brushing and then gets kinda mad when I turn the water on all the way to rinse. Someday he'll learn to wait until I'm done. lol

My sister's cat likes to sleep in the sink in the bathroom. I tried to break her of it by turning on the water. It didn't bother her in the least. Guess my sister won't have any trouble giving her a bath. lol
