NEW YORK (AP) -- When Liz Murray didn't have a bed, she and a friend would sometimes go to a diner in the Bronx, pool their change to buy french fries with gravy and cheese, and take naps with their heads resting on the table.

Since then, the 22-year-old has been to Harvard University and back again in a real-life story of willpower and determination that has inspired a television movie.

When "Homeless to Harvard: The Liz Murray Story" premieres on Lifetime Television on Monday at 9 p.m. EST, Murray wants viewers to come away with the notion that changing your life is "as simple as making a decision."

Awww man! Im going to have to tape it I guess. Theres a BIG game I HAVE to watch tonight

Too bad I cant make it to Topeka and watch the game with Tadbit

It's on at 10 here. I can't wait to see it. Last week on The John Walsh, he had both the actress and the woman. She is an incredible person.

I'm excited to see this movie! I love Lifetime. It's nice to see someone get so far and overcome so many problems.....bet it will be a movie I'll need a tissue..but I cry over everything anyway...LOL

In 20 minutes my son is going to bed and i am running the hubby off to another room.I've been waiting to see this movie.Lifetime is my favorite movie channel.

saw part...looked good but had to go grocery shopping. like i have always said....you only get from life what you take from it by hard work and perseverence...sp?

I watched it last night...really a good movie..I can't imagine everything she went through...at the end tho it said she left Harvard..did she graduate? it didn't say

It was a pretty good movie. I was really disappointed when it said she had dropped out of Harvard at the end though.

She was on TV yesterday... she is going to persue a career in film making, possibly go to NYU, right now she says she is very busy with speaking engagements....the movie was very good and she is an amazing girl....
