Write to our troops
Here's a link to get names of our Armed Forces Patriots that would like to receive letters and/or packages:

Please only do this if you are in support of our service men and women. Thank you.

Go USA!!!!!!!!!!!
I must add, that I am personally appalled at the amount of Americans who DO NOT support our military. If you want to be an American that means supporting America!!!!!!!!

I wrote to some service members during the Gult War. Advice columnist Ann Landers (God rest her soul) wrote a column about the service folks who were not receiving mail and you could write to "anyservicemember". Unfortunately with the anthrax scare you can no longer do that. I'm glad to see that someone else has organized a letter writing campaign. I can only imagine how lonely it gets when you're far from home and family.

Thank you! I was looking through the newspaper last night for a list of addresses. During the Gulf War, my co-workers and I wrote and sent packages to members of C Co. 7th/100st out of Ft. Campbell, KY. I didn't realize how much it was appreciated until I met a helicopter pilot from the same company a year after they got home; he was still carrying a book with the addresses of every person who wrote to him.
I personally am a bleeding-heart liberal; but I don't care what your politics are, the men and women of the military deserve our respect. They're doing a job that most of us are unable or unwilling to do; and for that, I feel we owe them our thanks.

Support our Troops!!
Our country would not be what it is today without our dedicated troops!! No matter what your political view is, each and every one of us should support our troops. I sent off for the name of some one to write to. I am going to get my sons involved to. They need to know how important it is to support our military.

Another program is www.adoptaplatoon.org . It takes a few weeks to get a soldier and they do call you first but it is a great way to support the troops.
