Thread: School Won't Allow Water Bottles or Bathroom Breaks All Day!

like i said...exceptions can be made and it is allowed between class. i am not in a pissy mood i just don't see where a crime has been committed as one has not. it may be unfair...then work out an equitable solution...but it is not illegal. btw...my school had over 1000 students total as well and 3 min. i found time. i never said i was judging, just that is the mentality going on which i do agree with as long as exceptions can be made by using a pass or something similar. it is your problem...meaning if you don't like the situation YOU must work to change it! meaning do as i suggested in my other post. no one will change things for you. you must do it on your own. try and see what happens. you misunderstood what i said...and i DO NOT APPOLOGISE for your error. btw...do you need to pee and get a drink every class change...maybe skip one locker trip and carry 2 or three books so you can go...i didn't...nor did most ppl i knew in school. i will thank YOU not to pass judgement on me with out having gotten your facts straight in the future.

also...i never stopped to my locker each class change...just the ones that were close together. if i had two classes far apart...i would carry all those books and reserve the time for a pee or drink break if necessary instead.

LOOK i WAS only stating that its not fair but i mis read your post to me it sounded like oh well no big deal but i agree you should complain to the school board or to whom ever or to ask for a hall pass or do what ever it takes to get things changed, but i am done posting cuz all i am going to do is fuel the fire and get the thread closed so i shuting my mouth and keeping my thoughts to myself. good day to you and everyone.

there is no way in hell you can go to the bathroom, get a drink of water, get books from your locker and get all the way across the building to another class in 2 farking minutes - its humanly impossible, in our high school we had 4 minutes to do all that and it was impossible then, it is completly unreasonable to refuse students their bodily functions and refuse to allow them to go to the bathroom if they need to go it can do permanent damage to your kidneys and bladder, give you UTI's and bladder infections and make you sick, they tried to do this in my middle school and we got as many of the students as possible to sign a petition protesting this and got as many parents behind us as possible as well as the student council behind us and some faculty members then took it before the school board, within one month the policy was changed and teachers were told to allow students to go to the bathroom and get drinks of water during class if necessary

that is what i am saying...if it does not work for you or you cann't do it reasonably (my school had bathrooms strategicly placed so that it was easy to do); fight for what you want. do it in an intelligent and well thought out manner and be compromising or at least open to it and chances are you will get what you want at least in part.

forgot to mention that you do not necessarily have to do all those things in the same break. you don't need to go to your locker every class change, you can use a backpack. you don't need (most ppl) a drink every 30 minutes. nor do most ppl need to go to the bathroom every 30 min. you can do this if you don't do them all at once as it is not likely necessary. if your school is large it can be difficult so change what you have to if you need to.

that is insane! my sd school allowed them to keep a copy of the books at home and one was in the classroom for the students to use during class so most didn't use a backpack. if you ban backpacks...you have to let them go to their lockers...duh...how big do they think your arms are. i have never heard of that! that is just plain stupid if you ask me.

I all have to say, since my last post, and after reading all of the others, is that I think that the rules made by the schools and school board are put in place for a reason. I dont think that they make them just to be evil mean people. Mabey there has been a lot of drug use, or smoking in the bathrooms when people are suppost to be in class. Or test scores are way down, and they want to keep kids in class intead of roaming the halls. And people DO PUT ALCOHOL IN BEVERAGE CONTAINERS!!!!!!!!! It is a very common thing that happens. Every school is different, because of the population and amount of juvenile crime. Things at my HS are SO much more stricker because we have a lot of wanna-be gangs there. And which cites dont allow backpacks? Do they have lockers? Do thier friends have cars? Leave the ones that you dont need in a locker or a safe place untill lunch and switch books at that time. so you are only carrying half the books at at time. I did not have lockers when I was in HS and it sucked, but I managed. And it looks like everyone else managed with the rules that were in place when we all were in Jr Hi and HS.


Mabey we can contact MANDA and let her make the school rules! LOL What kinda school system would we have then?!?!?!?

NOTHING MORE TO SAY since it only makes the fire burn more so I am putting it out by not posting nothing else in this thread.
