My take..he's dead..he's been dead for 25 years. Let him rest. He is NOT at Burger King, Walmart, etc. He was tired of being Elvis. That should clue some ppl in, but sadly it doesn't. JMHO>

His voice is the only one that makes me shiver...*sigh* BUt I'm sick of the impersonators or people who are trying to convince everyone else he's still alive. I love listening to Elvis.

I liked his early stuff, but when he started wearing those white jumpsuits when he was very heavy, I thought he looked hideous.

Vegas is a scary place if you can't handle Elvis. 'specially around his birthday and death...we have tributes to Elvis, the Flying Elvi (plural), Elvis impersonators galore, and of course the famous Elvis Wedding.....I personally could care less, but it is scary walking into a grocery store and running into the "older, larger" Elvis....complete with rhinestone jumpsuit and mutton chops <shiver>

AMEN!!!!! I live about 20 min from Memphis and I am so sick of hearing about Elvis!!! Jeez if he was still alive he would be nothing but a washed up ole has been. There is always something going on with "Graceland" be it his b-day, his death, the first time he wiped his butt, had sex, etc. Jeez Louise the man was a singer...not God! JMHO

I hate it when they play his lame movies on TV. Personally I think they should all be destroyed. What was he thinking when he agreed to do those? His special from Hawaii when he was young and in good form is good and the special he made for TV but the other stuff should be destroyed. Also just keep his promotion in Memphis so people can chose to go there and not have it in their face every year on the different annivsaries. But then as long as people make money off of it I guess we will have it.
