Dumb Question: Can you cook spaghetti in a crockpot?

Can you cook spaghetti in a crockpot? I have to take my daughter to a Dr.s appointment this afternoon which is kind of far away. By the time I get back I am not going to feel like cooking. I cooked the ground beef and added the seasonings and three large cans of sauce last night. If I put it in the crockpot can I go ahead and add the dry spaghetti? If so how long should it need to cook and should I put it on low or high? Thanks.

Yes you can, but it doesn't usually turn out very well. Kinda mushy unless you cook the noodles first and then leave it on low. HTH

search this website on how to do it! Not to mention all the other things you can do with your crock pot!

http://www.justcrockpotrecipes.com/

click on "Italian" and a list comes up. some listed spaghetti.

Ditto on what Ravenlost says .. I have a crock pot spaghetti recipe that came with my crock pot, but it is still packed away .. but I would think the noodles would come out mushy.

Good luck and have a safe trip.
