    Pregnant women Anti-Nausea Suckers?

Hi I need help finding a site or store
that sells those candy suckers that pregnant
women can use for nausea. I can't remember
the name of them but I saw them on here
or another board. My niece is pregnant and
    very nauseated. Thank you
If its FREE, I want it!

I feel for her. I was very ill for a long time - I lost 20 lbs before I ever gained anything, and actually had to go to the hospital several times. I don't know what suckers you're talking about, but if she gets too sick, she won't want to put even those in her mouth, lol. I even stopped biting my nails finally because I couldn't stand to have anything near my mouth. The only thing that helped me was a medication called zofran. It's used alot for cancer patients to relieve the nausea of chemotherapy, but it's also safe for use during pregnancy (in cases when the mother is very ill, as long as it's not overused, as with anything, I suppose). It's a small pill, so it's easy to swallow, and it is the only thing that gave me any relief at all.
I hope she feels better soon. I know how horrible it can be.

Oh, and the motion sickness bands that people where when they travel - those I've heard are safe for use during pregnancy - you wear them on your wrist. Also the patches that you wear by your ears - I don't know if those are safe - you'd have to ask the doc, but I have heard they work well for nausea.

I had never heard of these before. I always have peppermints handy and suck on them and they seem to work for me. Hope she gets feeling better soon.

I have heard saltines and soda water helps .. I luckily didn't have this problem with either one of my pregancies
They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them. Distance and time may separate us but friendship and memories won't.

Saltines made me throw up - but then everything made me throw up

A friend of my mom's boyfriend said that the only thing that her daughter could eat while she had morning sickness was boiled shrimp. Gaahh - I can't eat boiled shrimp when I'm not sick. I couldn't eat the blandest of foods (crackers, baked potatoes, soup) when I had morning sickness - I would throw up ice chips - and this woman thought that I would take her advice of eating boiled shrimp!
