WOOHOO! Some serious thunderstorms on their way!
I LOVE thunderstorms. The more severe, the better. I tend to sit out on my front porch during them. BIG BAD storms just west of me! Lots of lightning, some hail, rotation (tornadic cells???) and I can already hear the thunder getting closer and the wind's picking up!
YIPPEE! If I'm not around, I'll be out on the porch riding out the storm!
~skips out humming 'Riders on the Storm'~
WOOOOOOOO BABY you should hear the wind now!!!

I love watching storms too. But please stay away from here until they are over. We don't need a crispy jaybird

LMAO! As soon as I posted this, the power blew for about 5 minutes, so I lit some candles and watched awhile. Seems (according to the news) that the worst of it is going a little north of me (towards Chort actually) It's really windy, whipping around from all directions out there! And the thunder's getting much closer. BIG downpour of rain when the power went, and now, nothing but wind and noise.
THE WEIRDEST THING. When I first posted this, you could see the storm coming from the west, the front of my house. But out the back patio, a huge full moon! SO COOL!
My neighbor WAS having a backyard party with about 30 or more people, up til 15 minutes ago!!
Flutey, storming down your way?
Auntie Em, Auntie Em...HERE IT COMES!

Jaybird, please stay away from your puter until the storm has past. Watched a show yesterday about how easy it is to get zapped. Everything from talking on phone to turning on your faucets. If I remember correctly Carrolyn was zapped at her puter.
Come on and humor a worry wort. PLEASE

Neener neener neener.
ALL the good stuff is about 2 miles north of me at the edge of St. Clair county. I'm in Monroe County. And it's moving east pretty quickly. 45mph they just said. Possible tornado spotted just south east of Belleville, about 20 minutes northeast of me. In fact, it's not doing a darn thing out there now. No rain, not a leaf mvoing, and I can't hear any thunder any more.
What a ripoff.
LOL @ unicorn. You're only allowed to worry about me IF you're older than me!

Watch out it could just be the calm before the storm.

Bummer. Missed me. And the full moon is back out, shining brightly-it's a beautiful night.
