I've decided my cat is claustrophobic

He hates to be held tight and if he even thinks I'm going to put him under the covers with me he has a panic attack. You would think I was trying to kill him. Acually, he doesn't even like to be held and petted. Can't lay on laps or close to people. But he still is a cutie.

Likes to play with his bell and chase it doing flips in the air to catch it. He is having fun watching the birds now that it's spring and they are coming to make their nests. He is only eight months old so this is new for him.

    Talking i can relate!

i have a cute kittie named pumpkin. the symptoms of your cat sooooo remind me of her. i think she is afriad of hights or afriad of not being on solid ground. its funny! she climbs up 7 feet in her cat tree yet i cant pick her up to hold her. heres a tip......when you pick up your kittie , dont flip it on its back and hold it tightly. it may just need some security. my pumpkin is slowly coming around!
may your life be like toilet paper....long and useful!

The only way I can pet Simon for any length of time it to pick him up. He will let me pet and kiss him for maybe a few minutes if I am standing. I can even take his front legs and turn him upside down and swing him between my legs. He just hangs there and doesn't even meow. Like he enjoys it. I hope he does or I wouldn't do it.

But he won't put up with any loving if he is just laying there or I want him to cuddle. He is also a climber. He climbs on everything, the higher the better so maybe some just have that temperment.
