Often I sit here at my office and home, read these requests for

prayers, support and just hugs. After speaking with a friend this

morning, it reminded me of those. It also made me realize that alot

of times these posts sit sadly alone...a few people made notice them

and put a reply back, but alot of times..the post may get few replies

and/or few views...why? WHy do we shy away from them..why do we not

respond...yes, I am guilty too and feel quite badly...and am making a

FIRM commitment to notice these posts and honor those requests. It

saddens me to realize..sometimes people reach out..sometimes they

dont..but just because they dont..we oft times do not realize they

are hurting, suffering from either a physical or even mental pain or

they are just lonely...how very sad!!! Our Lord, did not intend us to

hurt..he didnt intend for us to be alone..so, as a child of his, I

am going to stand..stand to make a difference maybe..stand to

confirm, and stand to the test he has given me (and yes, I know I

have sometimes failed at miserably), see..a couple months ago, our

church had a "Renewal", we were to hopefully learn our "spiritual'

gifts..I have been questioning since, what MY gift was..in the past

few months, I have been learning more and more..I think I know that

gift now..its the Gift of Helping, however I might in whatever

avenue I can. The BBS forum has helped me even more with that. I do

not proclaim that I am perfect in any way or form..I know I have

failings, after all I am human too. With all this in mind, I ask

forgiveness for any angry or hurtful things I may have EVER said to

anyone..please forgive me. Second, I am putting a couple poems below

that you never know..it could make a MAJOR difference in someones

life/lives....so take a moment today..tomorrow..everyday and do just

as the poems suggest..I am not taking credit for the poems, I did not

write them....Sorry for this being so long..and I am sure it

probally will get moved to the religious forum just because I

mentioned God, and that is fine too...But for those here and now,

that see this..and you are hurting in any way shape or form...and you

think you are alone..YOU ARE NOT!!! God bless each and everyone of

you....and if you need an ear, a hug, support...I will try my best to

I am with you sweetie, I will do my best to give
love,hugs and support to all that need it. If we all
try our best no one should ever feel alone here at BBS.

I am with you 100 percent. I know there
have been times, I wouldn't have known what
to do without the help & support of all of you.
I will try my best to be here should anyone want
or need my help or support.

In my times of total despair, I choose to come here. I do not go to my husband. I do not go to my family. I do not go to my "so called friends". I come here because I know the people here will be honest, objective, supportive, caring, loyal. I try to understand posts, but it is hard when you don't know everything about a situation. But it I am here for everyone in one way or another, in my own special little way.

Here is something for all moms that feel like they can't
take one more scream, dirty diaper, sibling pulling hair,
and falling on top of all the toys on the floor.

I got this today and I have gone back to it twice now, it
is very calming and makes you realize what your job as

I guess that is why I spend more time in vent/whine......I know that those posts usually are perty serious and ppl are lookin for help.

heartlvrs...Thank you for this post. I dont have any friends that I can talk to in the real world, but the comfort I have felt from my BBS family has made me feel like each and every one of you is sitting here with me. So, I know that I can count on all of you for support and you will probably not know what it has done for me. Just like it has and will help so many more in the future. I honestly dont know what I would have done yesterday without the support of all of you. Today, I have a clear mind, but I know I will still need some support and reassurance in the near future and it comforts me knowing that you all are here. Thank you!
