Is he into sports? If so then maybe a nice jersey of his favorite team. Or if Santa doesn't bring clothes, maybe a collectible of some kind. Or a radio control car? Or he may be too old for that. How about movies or CDs?
I'ts kinda hard to tell without knowing what he's into. What does he like to do?

Let's see....I have custody of my 13 year old brother, and I am getting him, a guitar and amp...(great package deal on ebay for a beginner), some CD's, a gift certificate to the mall so he can have the fun of getting whatever he really wants. He's also getting some posters of music groups and girls in bikinis, of course, umm...some weight lifting gloves to use with his weight set. A subscription to a magazine he'd enjoy might work for you as well. Gabe treasures every issue of his Alternative Press magazine. Hmmm...Gabe wants some Obsession for men, and he likes cool things for decorating his room. Hope you can come up with fun ideas.

These are cool. Sharinbo, I wish I had seen that auction before it ended. Both my brothers have thier own band.
Anthony is into FARMING and ANYTHING to do with farming. I simply refuse to buy him a tractor and plow for Christmas.(LOL) He played football this year but isnt obsessed by it, or Id have a clue there. Santa always brings an outfit. He is into Cowboy boots and Levis, (my very own redneck.) Im clueless. I truely do think hed like the MIg Welder, or a Chain Saw. He handles a chain saw better than most men Ive seen. Do yall think a Chain Saw is a weird present for 13 yr old boy??? I know hed LOVE it!

cp it doesn't matter if others think it is a weird gift.......What matters is whether or not your son would love it!!!! I say go for it! Of course then again my main vote would be for the welder, but that is cause my dh is an ironworker

Do all computer games give him a headache or just the shoot-em-up ones? My fourteen year old loves strategy games. Right now his favorite is Zeus. He is hoping to get the expansion for it (Poseidon) for Christmas. Does he like books? If so, maybe you could get him some books about farming. I'd worry about getting him a chainsaw. You never can tell what might happen if one of his less responsible friends gets a hold of it. I'm thinking about getting my son an electric razor this year. He's started getting quite a bit of facial hair, and may need one soon.
