My daughter missed her very first day of school! - Big Big Forums

she is in the second grade and NEVER missed a day and she came down with pink eye!!

well, i knew that thye would just send her home ( even though I was putting dr called in eye drops for 12 hrs. they said she had to have been getting them for 24 ht\rs. so, she just did not get to go today. I do hate that she is sick, no matter what it is, but i hate that her first day missed is over pink eye!! lol ( while i am glad that it was not anything else) just a little wierd that she has always gotten sick with major things like viruses and what not on the weekends! but she is rarely ever sick Thank God!!

poor baby!! pinkeye is icky! I got it in jr high.....I hope she gets better soon!!!

My 5 year old missed his first day of kindergarten this year, the night before he wakes up and throws up all over and runs a fever. Don't know which was worse, him being sick or being so sad from missing school. Hope the little ones eye clears up soon.

oh sorry about that but glad that is for something that will be gone very soon. Spend the day with her playing and laughing and enjoying each other. Make it memorable, but not too so she will want to stay home every day
