Ok now I just caught her catching and eating a ladybug that was crawling across the kitchen floor. What do you do with a pup who eats everything but whats she suppose to and chews on everything but her toys?

At least it was your dog. My daughter when she was crawling, had a half eaten beatle in her mouth one day. another, she grabbed and ate her brother's poop before it had a chance to hit the toilet water. I was taking a shower at the time and had a screaming son, soap in my hair, and a happy daughter. She's 24 now and we still tease her

OMG! These are too funny! I am LMAO! We have a pup who is about 6 months old and our new baby pup (maybe 8-10 wks old)who just adopted us a few days ago. Cosmo, the older one, has a kitty roca fetish himself(eeewwwww), and Luna, the baby, well, we are just trying to convince her that peeing outside on the cold, wet ground is better than peeing on our soft, warm carpet at 3 o'clock in the morning. LOL!

Today I had my son outside playing. he'll be 1 yr.old
at the end of the month. I saw him put something in his mouth.
So I went to take it out & I saw It was black & had Legs!!!!!
He found a dead bug. After I took that away he found a dried
up worm !!!!!!!!!!!
This is the baby who won't eat food. not baby food,
not table food, but dead bugs??? oh yeah.

LOL!
My puppy will eat anything that doesn't eat her first.
She did eat her poohpooh -- I could smell it on her breath. I did catch her one time trying to bring some into the house. YUK! I finally sprinkled some cayenne pepper on her poohpooh in the yard, and she doesn't eat it anymore. Sounds mean but I could not get her to stop and that worked without any lasting harm. All she did was sniff the cayenne, didn't like it and left the poohpooh.
But she has eaten dirt, bugs, wood, mulch, leaves, grass, paper box, toilet paper roller, rubber, plastic caps, etc. I am always asking her what she has and then taking it away. She has now resorted to sneaking things in with her mouth shut, as if I cannot tell what she is doing. I have a riot of a dog who is really smart. Cracks me up!
I sprayed the wood furniture with that bitter apple. I even tasted the bitter apple to see how bitter it is -- it is bitter. She just licks the stuff off like it is candy. What a waste of money.

LMAO @ all of the stories
Penelope327 my doggie does the same thing she's really sneaky.Usually I keep her in the backyard while I'm on the computer at night and then let her in when I'm ready to go to my bedroom she sleep's with me. The other night it was raining so I left her asleep on my bed and when I went in there she had woke up and ate the Remote to the Statalite(sp?)Dish now when I'm watching t.v. and want to turn it I have to get up and walk across the room.

vets usually say a puppy will eat their poop due to a lack of a vitamin. no, im not saying you dont take care of your puppy, im saying its a natural thing. the pepper bit was awesome!! im sure she wouldnt like pepper poopie . now, the one about the kids?! ewww!
our dog, roscoe, would walk around the front yard and if he saw ants on the drive way or sidewalk, he would walk along and eat them up. he would actually follow them when they were 'trailing' eachother. maybe thats what happened to him, he found a long line of ants and never came home.
