This gross ignorance is what you get when the mainstream media is in the tank for a failure. youtu.be/LKKiWUFBXx8 #tcot

We saw an Obama banshee screeching about her Obama phone and heard from Obama voters who don’t realize Osama bin Laden is dead. http://redalertpolitics.com/2012/09/...ead-ignorance/ And now, an “eat the rich” Obama supporter in Ohio proudly tells an interviewer Mitt Romney will raise taxes on the middle class and Ambassador Chris Stevens “probably had it coming.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKKiW...layer_embedded
The choom is strong with this one. The morals? Not so much.

People say, "Obama can relate to me and Romney can't."
I don't care one iota whether or not a President can relate to me, or understands me. That just sounds like so much Oprah gobbledygook. When I hire a guy to paint my house, I don't care if it is a guy or girl, black or white or Asian, tall or short, democrat or republican, and most certainly not whether or not they can "relate" to me. I care about one thing: Can they paint my house well?
That's what we should look for in a President: How will they run the country? And just to top it off, do you honestly believe Obama can relate to the average American? Raised in Hawaii and Indonesia, went to elite schools, spent most of his time with Marxists, and then became an attorney. Yeah, that sure sounds like the average American experience!Laissez les bon temps rouler! ObamaPhone Humor
By Ross Kaminsky on 9.28.12 @ 12:24PM
In case you haven't heard about the federal government's free cell phone program, "Lifeline", derisively called the ObamaPhone by critics (including me), it's not a joke, even though it seems like it should be:
http://washingtonexaminer.com/where-...3#.UGXHNlHZ27x
The clever people over at ThePeoplesCube.com have a new article about the ObamaPhone http://thepeoplescube.com/peoples-bl...ion-t9728.html including some of its most important features as submitted by Twitter users. https://twitter.com/i/#!/search/?q=%...Phone&src=hash
Here then are the key features of the ObamaPhone:
It automatically rejects calls from people with a different opinion.
Every time you take a picture, it produces a grimmer image of America.
It doesn't have a plan; it just keeps telling you how bad the other guy's plan is.
When it crashes, it blames your previous phone.
All 3 AM calls go directly to voicemail.
It has a really useless app called "Biden."
Pairing it with another device sucks all the energy out of the other unit.
Type in "job search" and it gives you directions to the welfare office.
The navigation feature covers all 57 States.
The default ringtone for international calls is "I'm sorry, so sorry, please accept my apology."
The healthcare app downloads and installs itself without your permission.
When you make a call, a teleprompter pops up to help you speak.
Restaurant reviews are all written by Michelle Obama.
There are never any winners on Angry Birds.
Instagram takes two months to process a photo and you have to fill out 3 PDFs to do so.
Paypal app is replaced with ReceivePal app.
You can't find "Jerusalem" on Google maps.
It turns all your Facebook friends into enemies and all your enemies into friends.
Don't want to work? There's an app for that, too.
It automatically bows down to phones made by foreign companies.
When you watch a YouTube video, a US ambassador gets killed.
When you dial "home", it calls Kenya.
As opposed to the iPhone, it's called the mePhone.Last edited by Jolie Rouge; 09-28-2012 at 11:59 AM.

Barack Obama’s Horrible No Good Very Bad Day
Posted by B. Daniel Blatt at 3:36 am - October 3, 2012.
A number of things happened yesterday, none of which are particularly beneficial to the Obama campaign:
•Three polls were released showing the race tightening, the National Journal survey, the NBC/WSJ poll & Rasmussen’s tracking.
•Vice President Biden acknowledged that the middle class has “been buried the last four years”, a time period which nearly perfectly corresponds with his tenure in office. http://www.gaypatriot.net/2012/10/02...-middle-class/
•The Daily Caller released a video which, at the least, reminds Americans that for twenty years, Barack Obama attended the church of a prejudiced pastor. http://patterico.com/2012/10/02/excl...-and-more-fun/ http://nicedeb.wordpress.com/2012/10...ht-on-hannity/ http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sh...-nervous-break
•Another solar panel manufacturer which received a loan guarantee from the federal government declared bankruptcy. http://dailycaller.com/2012/10/02/so...aulty-product/
•Secretary of State Hillary Clinton asked Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform “to withhold any final conclusions about the Benghazi attack until the review board finishes its work and reports to Congress, which could come as early as November or as late as early next year.“* http://thecable.foreignpolicy.com/po...enghazi_attack ... and everyone knows what takes place this November. Another remind of how politicized the administration reaction to the attack has become.
Now, most of these stories won’t attract the media scrutiny they would attract if they involved, say, a Republican White House, but people are paying attention and news does seem to get past the legacy media’s filters.
Can you imagine the clamor for immediate answers if a Republican Secretary of State had urge the chair of a congressional committee to wait until after the election for answers to a question of national security? http://www.chequerboard.org/2012/10/...of-the-day-13/
*Recognizing “that the attack on our consulate in Benghazi is being investigated,” Pejman Yousefzadeh is having. . .
. . trouble understanding why the White House can’t answer a simple query: Did the consulate request additional security prior to the attack on it–the attack that killed Ambassador Christopher Stephens?Laissez les bon temps rouler! The Daily Caller released a video which, at the least, reminds Americans that for twenty years, Barack Obama attended the church of a prejudiced pastor.
The media are out in force Tuesday evening trying to convince people that the 2007 video of Barack Obama revealed by the Daily Caller is old news and nothing that should concern anybody. http://dailycaller.com/2012/10/02/ob...ht-new-orleans
Doing her part is Salon editor Joan Walsh who quickly published a rebuttal entitled "Right-wing Racial Panic: Hannity and Carlson hype a 2007 Obama video and prove they're having an ethnic nervous breakdown": http://www.salon.com/2012/10/03/righ...racial_panic//
Tuesday night they hyped a 2007 Barack Obama speech to a group of black ministers at Hampton University in Virginia, and they engaged in the most rancid racial fear-mongering I’ve seen in a long time. Hannity hailed the speech as “a glimpse into the mind of the real Barack Obama,” and he tried out his own black preacher voice for special effect. Carlson insisted Obama was preaching racial division to his black audience and sputtered, “This is not a dog whistle, this is a dog siren!”
He would know.
As for Obama's accent being different in the video, Walsh said this was no big deal.
"[S]o was Hillary Clinton’s and Al Gore’s in comparable situations – as Hannity noted with no self-awareness. So was Joe Biden’s at the NAACP."
"White politicians pick up a certain…cadence in black crowds," she added, "and they maybe get teased a little."
Notice she only identified Democrats as using such a tactic.
Regardless, she continued, "[W]hat we have here is an epidemic of white guys ruling on the correct way for other people to identify themselves in ethnic terms."
And concluded:
It pains me to pay attention to Carlson and Hannity. They’re hucksters and I mostly ignore them. And Matt Drudge too, who hyped the video much of Tuesday evening. They’re all trolls. But they’re singing from a GOP hymnal that we’ll hear more from before Nov. 6. It’s getting uglier, but it’s also getting dumber. They’re losing, and they know it.

It's not that Obama was preaching racial division. It's that he is so detached from reality that he thinks this is what black people want to hear. He is the ultimate con man From his pampered early upbringing and protected life, attending the best schools and living in the best neighborhoods wherever he was, always being told how wonderful and smart and charasmatic he is, Obama is always playing a part ... a role ... and there is probably no better example than in this recording.
Lucky for him people have been dumbed down and he has a media to edit his screw ups and/or not report them.
Imagine anyone else suggesting poor black people have to be taught "how to act" in an office!
By your shrill reponse, Joan, and others like you, it's obvious that exposing this speech is hitting a nerve.
And that is a good thing.
...
I saw that segment and it was not at all as Joan described. What she described was her opinion of what she saw as if it was a fact.
I saw Barack Obama being deliberately racially provocative and lie through his teeth to claim that people in New Orleans got no help and it was because they were black. He was using an accent that he has absolutely no claim to and was stoking racial hostility.
I saw it with my own eyes.
..
Yeah, no kidding Obama was being racially provacative. Apparantly it's "racist" to point that out. Our "post racial" president and his minions in the media are pushing race relations to the breaking point, and the right is FINALLY starting to push back.
.
They shouldn't act so "schocked" that there is blowback bubbling up to the surface.
..
really enjoyed President Obama's Al Sharpton routine. He is a gifted actor. It must be nice to be a rich, white, Ivy League millionaire who enjoys the benefit of being half African American.
Both his parents were Ivy League. His maternal grandmother was a Vice President for the Bank of Hawaii. His maternal grandfather managed a furniture store. They raised him while he lived in Hawaii from the age of ten.
Obama went to the Punahou Preparatory School. Last year tuition was $18,450.00... annually.
Rough life in the tropics...
..
The media will portray this 2007 video as "old news," and then move on to report on Romney's tax returns from a decade ago.
..
Seems the MSM and the liberal trolls are having a meltdown over the video because it shows Obama as he truly is. Complexity of speech, wow, Walsh must be really simple minded to think this speech is that! As for her disdain of those who have put the truth out there, guess she like so many in the MSM has forgotten what a true journalist's job is all about. That's to report, not cover for someone which they have been doing since the beginning for Obama!Laissez les bon temps rouler! Class warfare hypocrisy: Debbie Wasserman Schultz poses for Vogue in $2000 Roland Mouret dress

Guess How Much the Dress in That Debbie Wasserman Schultz Glam Photo Shoot Cost theblaze.com/stories/guess-…
8 Oct 12
More from The Blaze: http://www.theblaze.com/stories/gues...to-shoot-cost/
After highlighting Democratic talking points that vilify the rich– whether it’s “millionaires and billionaires” and their corporate jets, or the tax rate of those making over $250,000 being responsible for the national debt– the designer reminded that Schultz herself once said: “We must expose the stark difference between the Democrats fighting for the middle class and Republicans fighting for the elite and the ultra-wealthy.”
It is for the aforementioned that I am now baffled as I look to the current issue of Vogue magazine, with a story spread on this modern day “crusader for the poor”. Herein lies an extraordinary display of hypocrisy as [the] Congresswoman is seen decked out in a $2000 Roland Mouret in one picture. Also not surprising is the magazine that did this article in the first place, as its Editor in Chief, Anna Wintour is a notable Democratic Party operative, supporter of President Obama, hosting several fundraisers at her own private townhouse in Manhattan…
Indeed. While obsessive liberals have always been quick to pounce on conservative women for their wardrobe choices, when Democratic women parade themselves in public — or in magazines — wearing expensive outfits … nothing but radio silence.
The hypocrisy. It scorches.

Straws in the wind or canaries in the coal mines? Warning signs the Obama campaign shouldn’t ignore
Yahoo! News – 10 hrs ago
Maybe it’s because I was told there’d be no math when I got into politics, but there comes a point in every campaign when I run screaming from the torrent of poll numbers and go looking for signs and portents, moments that (rightly or wrongly) seem to me to be of potential significance.
Sometimes they can be found in unexpected defections from the ranks. In 1980, for example, Ronald Reagan won the backing of the onetime leader of Manhattan’s Democrats—“Tammany Hall,” as the New York Democratic political machine was known back in the day—as well as former Sen. Eugene McCarthy. By themselves, they could be dismissed as aberrations (McCarthy was famously contrarian), but to me, they spoke of a shift in the political weather.
In 2008, a surprising number of prominent conservatives—ex-Solicitor General Charles Fried, ex-George W. Bush spokesman Scott McClellan and legal scholar Doug Kmiec—joined ex-Secretary of State Colin Powell in throwing their support behind Barack Obama.
Sometimes these portents are late developments that shift the political landscape, such as when Independent Counsel Lawrence Walsh implicated President George H.W. Bush in the Iran-Contra scandal just before Election Day, or when a tape of Osama bin Laden was released just before the 2004 election. In the last few days, several such portents have emerged, and if you’re rooting for the Obama campaign, they will have you reaching for the Maalox.
Consider, for example, the anguished acknowledgment of Buzz Bissinger (author of “Friday Night Lights”) that after a childhood on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, where the Republican voting machine levers have rusted from disuse, and after a lifetime of casting Democratic ballots, he is voting for Mitt Romney.
What makes Bissinger’s piece so damaging is that he is not retreating from his Democratic roots, nor even embracing Romney’s policies. Rather, he has concluded that Obama is “burnt-out. ... He is no longer the chosen one.”
Or look at the response of the late-night comedians—one of Obama’s securest bases—skewering his debate performance. From David Letterman to Jon Stewart to Bill Maher to the folks on “Saturday Night Live,” they have subjected Obama to something he experienced in the past only from his most zealous foes: ridicule. It is precisely the last thing the Obama campaign needs right now, as it works to gin up excitement among the president’s supporters, especially among the younger voters, for whom 2008 was a time of passionate engagement.
“Come on,” the reply might be. “These are trivial, insignificant items—nothing of real heft.”
So turn instead to one of the more remarkable pronouncements I have seen in recent years from a prominent American journalist: the remarks of CBS chief foreign correspondent Lara Logan.
In a speech last week to Chicago’s Better Government Association, Logan, who was brutalized by a mob in Cairo’s Tahrir Square last year, painted a frightening picture of the terrain in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Libya—and accused the Obama administration of soft-pedaling the dangers there. On the heels of her “60 Minutes” report a week ago Sunday, her remarks amounted to nothing less than a frontal assault on some basic assumptions of Obama’s foreign policy—an area where he retains a significant advantage over Mitt Romney.
It is almost unimaginable that Bob Schieffer, moderator of the Oct. 22 foreign policy debate, will ignore the blistering words of his colleague, or that he will not raise his network’s report that security in Libya was reduced just before the attacks there that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens.
What’s significant about these items is that they are not stemming from the president’s ideological or political foes. And they are coming just at the moment when the president’s re-election prospects have been seriously damaged by his own inexplicable debate performance.
Please note what I am not saying. The president is no more doomed to defeat than was Mitt Romney in the days before that debate, when many of his own supporters were hanging crepe. Romney himself still faces serious headwinds. His major foreign policy address Monday was riddled with inconsistencies, and in some cases flat-out repudiations of his past stands. And some of his debate assertions, while confidently presented, leave him open to the charge of dissembling.
It’s just that these unrelated events of the past week call to mind the wisdom of basketball legend Bill Russell, who during his days as a TV analyst would often proclaim: “When things go bad ... they go bad.”
Jeff Greenfield is a Yahoo! News columnist and the host of “Need to Know” on PBS. A five-time Emmy winner, he has spent more than 30 years on network television, including time as the senior political correspondent for CBS News, the senior analyst for CNN, and the political and media analyst for ABC News. His most recent book is “Then Everything Changed: Stunning Alternate Histories of American Politics.”..

Leavin’ on a jet plane: Obama supporters vow exodus from US if Romney wins

Can't give you a line-byline on most of these because of the profanity...
....
Borowitz, an alleged comedian with a history of comedic ineptitude, took a stab at an Onion-esque article for The New Yorker in which he wrote of Canada’s tightening of its border in anticipation of a massive influx of angry Americans (Canada’s giving xenophobic Americans a taste of their own medicine! Get it?). And, much like an onion, the article stinks.
Stating that the R.C.M.P. is patrolling every kilometre of the Canadian border, ["R.C.M.P. deputy commissioner Randolph McTavish"] issued this warning to Americans who might try to cross into Canada illegally: “If you drive a Prius, you will be stopped.”
He also warned Americans against trying to slip across the border in the hopes of passing as Canadians: “It is very difficult, if not impossible, to pretend to like hockey.”
Mr. McTavish said that he was sympathetic with those who might flee across the border in search of a new life and socialized medicine, but added, “At the end of the day, forty-seven per cent of Americans is more than Canada can handle.”
