ORLANDO -- Two people may be dead and multiple people have been injured after a shooting at a downtown Orlando office building.
According to Orlando Police Sgt. Barbara Jones, two people have been killed and at least six people have been injured in the shooting that began just before noon.
Officers have surrounded the Gateway Center at 1000 Legion Place, near the intersection of Interstate 4 and Ivanhoe Boulevard, with guns drawn in search for an armed man.
The suspect, Jason Rodriguez, was described as an armed and dangerous Hispanic male reportedly wearing a light blue polo shirt and jeans.
Authorities said Rodriguez is possibly driving a 2002 silver Nissan SUV with Florida tag D11-9UX.
The shootings took place in the offices of Reynolds, Smith & Hill, a transportation consulting firm.
