Yikes!I hate spiders and don't even have to deal with poisonous ones(I think?).
Kinda off topic but last night I was putting ds to bed and he noticed a spider on his ceiling. It was just a regular spider(unless they are getting a little too close to me,I just ignore them)Well, there was no way he was going to bed with it in there and no way was I going to slap it with a flyswatter and have it land on my head.I dragged the vacuum out, sucked it up,put vacuum away.Tried to kiss ds goodnight and he started screaming that there was another spider.Another spider?!ok,am I being punked or something? No,there REALLY was another spider.wtf?Re-did the whole vacuum thing, all the while griping about how rediculous that someone would have two spiders in one night.Tonight dd joked about "what if there is another spider tonight?".I made it quite clear how that couldn't possibly happen again.Guess what?As soon as I got him in bed, there was a spider running across his wall.wth, the poor kid is going to be traumatized.

awww, poor kiddo. I imagine I would check his room and walls before he goes in so he doesn't run out screaming.... LOL
My girls are still scared of spiders and won't kill them (12&15). We live out in the country and get brown recluse spiders, the other day we were out in the yard and found a black widow inside a brick. I guess that's better than the snake that was slithering across my washing machine. And the tarantulas that I have found in my house..... ugh those are a whole other story, those are buggers.
