Help out the Internet snitch brigade ?
Note the link to report your fellow citizens on the whitehouse webpage :
These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to …
So, they want you to report on anything “on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy.”
So send this link to mm's questioning the health care czar’s secret budget http://michellemalkin.com/2009/08/04...nitch-brigade/ and this link to my post on health care czar Nancy DeParle’s conflicts of interest http://michellemalkin.com/2009/08/04...nitch-brigade/ to flag@whitehouse.gov
Also feel free to snitch on yourselves and let the health care czar know you openly oppose socialized medicine.
If you see something, say something.
“health INSURANCE reform”?
Well now, let’s see…
1) http://angry.net/blog2/?p=316
(Obama saying he like communist healthcare)
2) http://angry.net/blog2/?p=146
(Oh this is a nasty one! National Health Insurance equals slavery?)
3) http://angry.net/blog2/?p=171
(A little propaganda film)
Here is something I find fishy.
1) The Executive Branch of the US Government asking for citizens to report fellow citizens based the content of thier speech. You totally have my attention now because you are treading awfully close to my constitutional rights.
2) I find it fishy that the Whitehouse is spending taxpayer money to publish videos that counter so called “disinformation” which are actually just statements dtaken irectly from the President’s own mouth. There is no additional context that needs to be provided to Presidents Obama’s 2003 statements that he supports a single payer healthcare system. Single Payer HealthCare is what he said he beleived in in 2003 and citizens have the right to know what he said on his rise to power. You see it is hard to beleive his current rhetoric when we know what he has said in the past. I find your efforts to be promoting “disinformation”.
3) I find this fishy too. Check it out: http://michellemalkin.com/2009/08/04...nitch-brigade/
For the record. I openly oppose President Obama’s plan to socialize our healthcare system. I think this legislation will bankrupt my children’s future and destroy the finest healthcare system in the world. I will vocally speak out against Obamacare it at all turns. It is my constitutional right and duty to do so. That fishy smell is the disinformation from your office.
Sincerely,
California Red
We are getting more and more like the old Soviet system of government. Report your neighbors and be a good “comrade”. I suppose, by now, I’m on a “enemies” list, too. Well, I’ll know when I see a sedan with 2 guys in the front, sitting outside my house.
The Democrats call us divisive, but this is openly pitting Americans against one another. It’s repulsive.
My question to those who were so verbosely opposed to Bush's wiretapping ... how do you feel about this ??Laissez les bon temps rouler! subjectReport on Health Care Town Halls and Tea Party-Style Protests
mailed-bybounces2.democracyinaction.org
Health care town halls are fast becoming ground zero in the battle over health reform, with attempts to hold a civil discussion sometimes being intentionally disrupted.
Just yesterday HuffPost’s Eyes and Ears reporter Denise Dennis attended a health care town hall meeting in Philadelphia where a group of protesters from the Tea Party Patriots movement interrupted the proceedings. Dennis wrote:
A well-organized, belligerent and loud group of right-wingers stood in the aisles and across the back and disrupted the town meeting throughout. They yelled, shouted and jeered, and it was clear that they were not there to participate, but instead to try to disrupt the meeting and make it difficult as possible for anyone else to ask questions.
Sunday’s health care town hall was only one of over a hundred that will take place across the US in the weeks to come, and conservative protesters with ties to the Tax Day Tea Parties plan to disrupt many of them. To cover these important conversations and the efforts of those who wish to stifle dialogue, we need your help. We’re looking for more Denise Dennises to report on their local town hall meetings on health care, whether it’s by videotaping the event, writing an article, or sharing photos.
Eyes and Ears has set up its first on-site campaign tool here. Just click “Join Now” toward the bottom of the page to become a town hall reporter and you’ll be given a short survey so that you can let us know which event you plan to cover.
If you don’t have one in mind yet, we’ve created a map of many of the upcoming events at the bottom of the page. If you don’t find anything near you, take a look at FireDogLake’s calendar of meetings here as well.
As always, take a look at our publishing standards and email me directly with any questions.
While recording confrontation between protesters and the town hall moderators will be exciting, we also stress that citizen journalists should report on the substance of the policy debate since conversations held around the country this month could determine our health care system for decades to come.
Thanks to those who sign up to help us cover these events and to all of you who have supported the Health Care Investigative Unit over the past month.
Best,

Lanny Davis wants you photographed and investigated
By Michelle Malkin • August 5, 2009 03:10 PM
The consigliere to the Clinton thugocracy decries the taxpayer counterinsurgency — and calls on left-wing hitmen to photograph and investigate Obamacare protesters to prove that they are being “paid” by the “Republican right” to express their opinions and demand accountability from their congressional representatives (never mind that so many of these protests have been aimed at Republicans who have betrayed their principles).
Via Politico: http://www.politico.com/arena/perm/L...EC1587E45.html
The “shout downs” organized by the Republican right meet one of the classic definition of “fascist” tactics–defined as using shouting and disruption to deprive the civil and respectful debate of ideas. There is literally no defense to these tactics. I don’t criticize those who feel genuine anger or fear and show up to meetings to express those emotions. But I do call out the tactic of screaming and disrupting a meeting and the fact that this is a systematic tactic by thugs who want to prevent civil discourse, not promote it.
Let’s have the media name names, publish photographs, and do interviews of those responsible for approving, even organizing these techni[q]ues. And let’s find an investigative journalist - are there many left - to prove these so-called grassroots shouters are, or are not, being paid.

Cornyn to Obama: Disband the Internet Snitch Brigade
By Michelle Malkin • August 5, 2009
http://michellemalkin.com/2009/08/05...nitch-brigade/
Texas GOP Sen. John Cornyn sent a letter today to President Obama asking him to disband the Internet Snitch Brigade run out of the health care czar’s office immediately.
The Hill has the full text of the letter (read here): http://briefingroom.thehill.com/2009...personal-data/
“By requesting citizens send ‘fishy’ emails to the White House, it is inevitable that the names, email, addresses, IP addresses and private speech of U.S. citizens will be reported to the White House,” Cornyn wrote in a letter to Obama. “You should not be surprised that these actions taken by your White House staff raise the specter of a data collection program.”
Cornyn asked Obama to cease the program immediately, or at the very least explain what the White House would do with the information it collects.
The Anchoress reminds us of when the Left went nuts over Bush/Cheney post-9/11 programs to combat terrorism: http://www.firstthings.com/blogs/the...ive-democracy/
Anyone recall how, after 9/11 -after we’d been attacked in NYC and DC- the Bush Administration said: “If you see anything suspicious, you ought to report it,” causing conniptions on the left? How dare the Bushies ask people to snitch for security reasons! Now, for mere policy, that has become an acceptable, “if you see/hear anything disobedient, be the tattletale.”
There is some fishy disinformation being put out by the democrat majority about this bill.
They say it will not grant access to our bank accounts. wrong Sec. 163, Pg. 59, Lines 21-24 : Government will have direct access to your bank accounts for electronic funds transfer.
They are saying that there will not be rationing. Wrong again Sec. 142, Pg. 42 : The Health Choices Commissioner will choose your benefits for you. You have no choice!
They say that the plan will not drive out private insurance for the people of the United States. Wrong once more Sec. 223, Pg. 124, Lines 24-25 : No company can sue the government for price-fixing. No “administrative of judicial review” against a government monopoly.
Please contact those who are putting out false information and tell them to stop. Thank you for your service and I expect to quickly see some action against them on your part.

Quick! Someone report the “fishy” protesters at Steny Hoyer’s town hall. http://hotair.com/archives/2009/08/0...sophisticates/

subject This is the moment
mailed-by bounce.bluestatedigital.com
This is the moment our movement was built for.
For one month, the fight for health insurance reform leaves the backrooms of Washington, D.C., and returns to communities across America. Throughout August, members of Congress are back home, where the hands they shake and the voices they hear will not belong to lobbyists, but to people like you.
Home is where we’re strongest. We didn’t win last year’s election together at a committee hearing in D.C. We won it on the doorsteps and the phone lines, at the softball games and the town meetings, and in every part of this great country where people gather to talk about what matters most. And if you’re willing to step up once again, that’s exactly where we’re going to win this historic campaign for the guaranteed, affordable health insurance that every American deserves.
There are those who profit from the status quo, or see this debate as a political game, and they will stop at nothing to block reform. They are filling the airwaves and the internet with outrageous falsehoods to scare people into opposing change. And some people, not surprisingly, are getting pretty nervous. So we’ve got to get out there, fight lies with truth, and set the record straight.
That’s why Organizing for America is putting together thousands of events this month where you can reach out to neighbors, show your support, and make certain your members of Congress know that you’re counting on them to act.
But these canvasses, town halls, and gatherings only make a difference if you turn up to knock on doors, share your views, and show your support. So here’s what I need from you:
Can you commit to join at least one event in your community this month?
In politics, there’s a rule that says when you ask people to get involved, always tell them it’ll be easy. Well, let’s be honest here: Passing comprehensive health insurance reform will not be easy. Every President since Harry Truman has talked about it, and the most powerful and experienced lobbyists in Washington stand in the way.
But every day we don’t act, Americans watch their premiums rise three times faster than wages, small businesses and families are pushed towards bankruptcy, and 14,000 people lose their coverage entirely. The cost of inaction is simply too much for the people of this nation to bear.
So yes, fixing this crisis will not be easy. Our opponents will attack us every day for daring to try. It will require time, and hard work, and there will be days when we don’t know if we have anything more to give. But there comes a moment when we all have to choose between doing what’s easy, and doing what’s right.
This is one of those times. And moments like this are what this movement was built for. So, are you ready?
Please commit now to taking at least one action in your community this month to build support for health insurance reform:
http://my.barackobama.com/CommitAugust
Let’s seize this moment and win this historic victory for our economy, our health and our families.
Thank you,
President Barack Obama

Obama’s Dissident Database – Those Who Would Sacrifice Liberty For “Medical Security” Deserve Neither
August 6, 2009
Powerline and Brain Terminal are both considering the legal implications of the Obama administration’s decision to start keeping tabs on emails of dissenters.
John’s line sums it up best:
A secret and more or less permanent dissident database–in America! That’s quite an accomplishment for an administration still in its seventh month. It seems longer, somehow.
When the Bush administration considered forming a network of snitches to fight against jihad in the homeland, the proposal was blasted as too intrusive. When the Obama administration, without consideration, forms a network of snitches to monitor political dissent, it is launched without question from the ever-obedient-lock-step left.

Cool picture. I have many updates to this story at http://www.thesubstratum.com, including guidelines violations for .gov websites, my talk with the RNC and how they intend to respond, my talk with the American Center for Liberty and Justice (who will be hosting Sen. John Cornyn on the radio tomorrow), and a link to a petition. We need to all keep up the pressure. If this goes viral, as they say, then Obama’s political capital will all but dry up.
Revolt against AARP in Dallas: “Do you work for us or do we work for you?”
By Michelle Malkin • August 6, 2009
Watch the senior citizen “hooligans” and “civic vigilantes” in Dallas question a condescending AARP representative about Obamacare. Dues-paying members are speaking up about the organization’s sellout of its members — and the AARP brass is not happy. Yes, the winds of real hope and change are blowing:
AARP Woman: “We’re here to listen.”
AARP Woman moments later: “Excuse me but I’d really appreciate it if everybody would keep their comments quiet…”

Mass cancellations of membership, with demands for refunds. Hit them in the purse. That’s the only thing that will get their attetion.

Here is an email AARP is sending it’s members…..
Dear ___,
If your inbox is anything like mine, you’re getting a lot of emails about how SCARY health reform is. From allegations about rationing care to wild reports of government-sponsored euthanasia, the rumors just keep getting crazier.
And I’ve had enough. Enough of the fear-mongering. Enough of the myths and unfounded rumors. Enough of the interest groups twisting the truth to stop health reform.
I’m fighting back – and I’m asking for your help!
Below I’ve debunked some of the common myths going around. Will you forward this email to your friends and help get the truth out about reform?
The truth is real reform is at risk because opponents are using scare tactics and slogans to gin up fear and misunderstandings. Don’t let that happen.
Sincerely,
Barry Jackson
AARP Online Advocacy Manager
P.S. Let’s make sure everyone gets the truth. After you’ve forwarded the message below, please share these myths and facts on Facebook if you have an account, or post them on other networking sites. If you’re active on Twitter, please tweet the truth now.
******Delete the text above
and forward this message
to friends and family ******
Hi ________ ,
My inbox has been flooded with emails spreading crazy rumors about health reform so I wanted to share some facts from AARP about what’s really going on. Please join me in forwarding these facts to everyone you know. Print them out and pass them around at your social gatherings and other places where people are discussing the issues of the day.
FACT #1: Medicare will not be ended, and no benefits or services will be cut.
Your services will not be ended, nor will your benefits be cut. AARP’s position on this could not be clearer. And we have sent this message loud and clear to Congress. While the current proposals include savings in Medicare by cutting out fraud, abuse, waste, and inefficiency, we’re standing up and making sure benefits for Medicare recipients are not only fully protected, but are improved.1
FACT #2: No legislation currently in Congress would mandate the rationing of care. Period.
Our staff has read all of the legislation circulating in Congress and there are no provisions in these bills that would ration care for our members. None. If any ever did, we would vigorously fight to stop that legislation.2
FACT #3: There is no provision of any piece of legislation that would promote euthanasia of any kind.
The rumors out there are flat out lies. Right now Medicare does not cover counseling for end-of-life care. The portion of the bill in question would simply provide coverage for optional end-of-life consultations with doctors, so that the patient can be aware of all of the treatment options on the table. It is not mandatory and it has nothing to do with euthanasia.3
FACT #4: We have not endorsed President Obama’s plan.
In fact, we haven’t endorsed any plan. We are supporting reform of our health care system, something that AARP has pushed for many years. We’re working closely with Republican and Democratic members of Congress to lower health care costs and to ensure quality affordable coverage for older Americans – and we want reform legislation passed and signed by the president this year.4
So what is AARP fighting for in health reform?
Stopping insurance companies from charging older Americans unaffordable premiums because of their age.
Ending the practice of excluding people from insurance because of pre-existing conditions.
Holding down health costs and making insurance coverage more affordable for all Americans.
Making prescription drugs more affordable by narrowing the Medicare doughnut hole, bringing generics to market faster, and allowing Medicare to negotiate better drug prices.
Find out more and take action at HealthActionNow.org.

Can you say: Stand at attention. Raise your right hand over your head. Keep your palm open facing downward and arm stretched out rigidly, while simultaneously clicking the left side of you boots towards your right foot and shout repeatedly, "HEIL (AKA: HAIL) OBAMA!"
Handle every stressful situation like a dog.

The Obama administration encourages you to report “casual conversations” and “fishy” statements of your fellow Americans to the health care czar.
But if you want to take a cell phone photo of the First Lady eating a cheeseburger, you are out of luck. http://dougpowers.com/2009/08/07/michelle-obama/
Michelle Obama Can Haz Cheezburger, But You Can No Haz Camera While She Eats It
After all the Obama administration’s harping on ending obesity and healthier eating, I can understand why they might not want anybody taking pictures of them scarfing on junk: http://www.nypost.com/seven/08072009...tch_183423.htm
Michelle Obama, like her husband, enjoys a good burger, but not as well done. The first lady brought daughters Malia and Sasha to former “Top Chef” contestant Spike Mendelsohn’s Good Stuff Eatery in DC for cheeseburgers, onion rings, fries, and milkshakes. “They got the burgers medium,” says a spy. (President Obama was mildly ridiculed after ordering a burger medium-well in January.) “Three starving Secret Service guys were literally standing over the grill as Spike made the burgers, but didn’t eat,” our source adds. Fellow patrons had their cellphones temporarily confiscated to prevent pictures from being taken.
Now there’s a man who’s not ashamed of his sack! If there’s anybody with a reason to not want cameras around, it’s Bill Clinton, so if cell phone cameras in restaurants are good enough for Bubba, shouldn’t they be good enough for the FLOTUS?
Michelle O’s Secret Service detail didn’t get this person’s camera just outside the place, but the photog appears to be a “friendly” so I guess it’s okay. http://dc365.blogspot.com/2009/05/th...lle-obama.html
You know, the Dems should send Michelle to the increasingly tense townhall meetings this month. That way, all the cameras will be confiscated and the union goons, SEIU thugs and ACORN kneecappers can pummel tea party types with no recorded evidence, all under the guise of “burger security.”
The next time I hope Michelle O. lets everyone keep their cameras when she’s eating so all of America can be made aware that, for the first time in her adult life, she’s proud of her cheeseburger!Laissez les bon temps rouler!
