Well if thats the case then I see why shes retiring but it wont stop them from prosecuting her. But if its true the way they were digging up stuff on her during the election why didn't they discover that.

If this is true, and I'm not saying it is, it came to light 9 months ago. Just a month before the election. Then a long investigation. Like I said, who knows. People do stupider things for a lot less then the price of building materials. Just look at some of the morons that have gotten into sh!t out of greed or sense of entitlement.

Then they ignore Obama's crooked dealing with Resko on getting his palatial home. Politics make me sick.

Disclaimer befor my a$$ gets jumped, lol. My statement is based upon if this is indeed true. Politics makes me even more sick when someone tugs at the heartstrings of mainstream America, professing to be just a regular Joe and "one of the people". Sorry, regular Joes don't embezzle.

I agree. Obama doesn't pull at any heart strings. He says America is crooked and he doesn't like it much so he can get away with crooked dealings just fine. Like I said, I hate politics.

Here is my 2cents for your question.......
Same reason you supporters bring up Palin/McCain when we "bash" Obama in a different thread. LMAO
And because he is President and has so far NOT kept a SINGLE promise he made. While she Is currently still in office and is (basically being bashed) for stepping down for UNKNOWN reasons that is really HER OWN DAMN business.

Here is my question....
If you quit your job..Do you think you need to explain yourself to anyone?
Just because hers is the a public office doesn't mean she has to explain to the PUBLIC why she is stepping down. Its no different than when I hear Obama supporters say Why do you need to know Obama's business. Thats silly. Its the EXACT same thing. Just double standard....eh?

I agree with this when it comes to non-elected officials but when one takes and oath and makes promises to uphold standards of the job for a term of 4 years, the public deserves some sort of explanation as to why she violated her promise/oath. I don't need to explain myself if I quit my job unless I was contracted to the position. That said, out of courtesy I would inform my employer and co-workers. She works for the people. If there is malfeasance involved, the people of Alaska need to be informed.
I'd feel this way no matter the party affiliation.
Not all of us bashed Bush in an Obama bashing thread. I prefer to stay on topic most of the time. Double standards abound around here sometimes.
BTW if Obama stepped down or any other politician I voted for..you bet your butt I'd want to know why they broke their agreement to serve.

I think Obama was the reason I had a toothache. Maybe it was Bush, nah Palin or Perot. OMG, what if Al Gore caused my toothache? Stupid post huh? Well IMO thats about how stupid it is to bring a non-issue issue into an issue that has no issues with the non-issues.

lol @ myself....ahhh the wonder of vicoden.
