Its amazing how some people try their darndest to spin something to make it OK in their heads.

NEVER before, would anyone even possibly think that it would be OK for someone to just "eh I dont wanna no more" and say Eff off to the entire state.

Im sorta glad I'm living in this time period, because I honestly dont think I would believe this if I read it in a book.

During the election, Palin put herself out there as a perfect doting mother. The Palin's chose to be in the public eye, they also chose to put them (their kids) and their lives out there , as examples of their family values and "everyman" status. Family values do not consist of your kid getting pregnant as a minor and out of wedlock. Palin knew that her daughter was pregnant during her announcement that she was running for VP. So the question would be why did Palin put her name in the hat to be nominated for VP, knowing that her daughter would be put under the microscope. If Bristol Palin wasn't using contraception, then why not? Because Sarah Palin opposes programs that teach teenagers anything about contraception? Did Palin use her daughter's pregnancy as a spotlight? Hell to the yes!

This issue here isn’t about picking on a 17 year old girl. It’s about the fact that she was allowed a choice, yet her mother wanted to take that right away from everyone else’s daughter.

Also, when Jamie Lynn Spears got pregnant, everyone started trash talking her mom. Saying it was the parents fault. Why is Palin an exception to that? Same circumstances.

I find it funny when people who preach family values are caught in the do as I say not as I do situation.

Like I said it comes under the heading of her business. If people focused on their own lives the way they do others this world would be a better place.

Don't you get it? When she thrust herself into the spotlight of accepting to be McCain's running mate...it became OUR (the people) business. In fact, her running for VP of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA made it not only my business but the worlds business.

Sarah Paling loves to be in the spotlight (believe it or not). Her announcement to QUIT although unbeknownst to family,friends or political ties was orchestrated to put the spotlight on her yet again. But when people such as bloggers and the media question or comment, she will revert back to the victim status and cry "everyone's picking on me".

When Letterman made the joke about her daughter she ran with it for what it was worth, she took every opportunity to rant about it. Why not accept the apology Letterman gave and STFU about it. If you don't like your kids being talked about (in any manner) then why kept the pot stirred as she did? Why? because she is indeed an attention whore in her own right, for what ever reasons she may have.

It's not ok for letterman to tell a joke, but Rush Limbaugh can go on TV and say nasty things about politicians/actors or whomever he likes and it's ok. Example: When Michael J. Fox was on the campaign trail during the last election and made public announcements for stem cell research, Rush said MJF was a fraud and exaggerated his symptoms of PD. WTFE. And because Rush said about Palin "She's Hot!" it was true. Republican's can listen to Rush Limbaugh and Hannity and think "OMG, he speeks the truth, gives facts and solutions" Give me a farking break. Neither has a degree in political science, they are not experts, historians or scholars by any means. They are entertainers. Their big mouths are the only things to surpass their big egos.

I went of OT sorry, but some of you don't look at the big picture.

SurferGirl gives her opinions on public figures.....yet she gets personal attacks, etc.....and she ends up getting banned when she responds.....

I don't agree with all her opinions as I don't agree with all of everyone else's opinions neither.....but we are all entitled to them........

If we all felt the same about everything, it'd be pretty boring......

I also think it's valuable to hear how another person (who votes) in this country feels or looks at things. It gives insight.....afterall, their vote has as much power as yours, no matter how ridiculous, etc. you may think they are.....and perhaps one day, you may get them to look at things from another perspective.....

SG, I think your kind of double talk is exactly why our forefathers had the foresight of adding a small passage to our constitution, seperating church and state. This is not the United States of Christianity. If you want a church state, try the Islamic Republic of Iran. There, even though you all are of the same religion, you can be beaten, put in jail or murdered for not following the extremist point of view.

I don't blame her for getting upset with that blogger woman; The FBI said she wasn't being investigated yet this woman and others continue to say she did things wrong and is being investigated.
