    so we have
    1.more people losing their policies
2.insurance companies not telling their members what their increases will be until after elections (who permitted that?) and not within those 60 days as they were legally requited to do
    3. a government who will not tell us the real numbers
    4. more people able to collect medicaid which will increase the taxes of those in those states to pay for medicaid
    5. mexican consulates who help people to apply for healthcare (if they are americans why would they go to the mexicans to help?)
    6. some state healthcare gov sites still do not work despite the millions and millions spent on them at the taxpayers expense
    7. we have elected officials who want illegals to get obamacare (which i assume means subsidies, medicaid etc) even though they use ERs as their doctors at a cost of $0 to them but not to the taxpayers
    8. people who might find themslves with having to pay back the government because the government goofed and gave them subsidies or too much subsidies (did the irs calculate this?)
    9. american citizens still find themselves with high deductibles and/or not having doctors and hospitals available within a close proximity
    10. americans not able to pay their premiums and losing their insurance coverage
    11. americans not able to get medical help because their deductible is too high
    12. illegals getting free coverage at the cost of american taxpayers
    13. people losing their jobs or having reduced hours because companies cannot afford health insurance (wait til those who have to pay a tax of their insurance plans)

pls add anything else you can think of

Yep and there are still some people who think the current administration is the best thing since sliced bread?????
Don't forget about all the illegals that are giving our people their diseases. I am wondering if that illness that is making some kids so ill isn't from the illegals that were permitted to enter the US??

A look at 2015 individual market health insurance rate filings

As the US heads into the second year of the Affordable Care Act’s health coverage expansion, states are finalizing their insurance premium rates in preparation for open enrollment beginning November 15. As of October 3, 2014, six states—Colorado, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Oregon, and Rhode Island—as well as the District of Columbia have announced approved rates for both on-exchange and off-exchange health plans on the individual market. In total, HRI has collected premium data from 40 states and the District of Columbia.

Among the six states and DC with final rate announcements, the average premium (across metal tiers and ages) is about $328, and the average premium increase from 2014 is 2.6%. By contrast, the average premium increase across all reporting states is 5.9% and the average premium is $382.

Though average rate increases hover in the single-digit range, actual changes and premium prices vary significantly across states. In states with approved rates, average rates range from a 22% decrease to a 35% increase (in Colorado).

I had to go with Obama care and the deductibles can range from $1500 to $6000. This is for the silver that says it pays out 70% and it isn't cheap either. If you don't get any subsidy it is well over $300 a month, the subsidy depends upon your income. Now if they raise that 15% like it shows for my state then it is going to be almost impossible to afford. From what I can tell these companies will only pay within your state, if you travel you are SOL.. They don't seem to pay for doctor visits either other than a yearly checkup and from what I understand it won't pay for anything except the few things like mammogram until the deductible is paid. So in my book it pretty much stinks and is NOT affordable so Obamacare is a huge bust!

ty oreo for you input. i can't imagine what the bronze policy would be which is the one our fearless leader signed up for imho as a mockery to those who had no choice but to get obamacare since he has a taxpayer free luxury plan in addition to having a doctor living in the white house. It is also an insult to every american that illegals can walk into an er even if it is a splinter and pay nothing and i wonder how many people (americans too) work off the books and thus get medicaid and have no medical bills. it is no wonder that when the IRS was told they would have to sign up for obamacare, they refused and continue to get a federal medical healthcare plan. I can also see why some people continue to get 'welfare' and refuse to work because as one study showed a NY woman getting what was equivalent to $36000 tax free dollars for not working. a texas woman laughed at her friends for working 2 jobs and ending up in worse shape than she was in because she was supported tax free by the taxpayers and had all the free time in the world. our government is good at handing out the hard earned dollars of the taxpayers and just giving it away to some people who do not deserve it. Imho if a person has a disability I am all for helping them for they do deserve it but if you are able bodied (and mind) than you do not deserve free handouts. they should be required to work for their welfare and perhaps this will make people value themselves and want to improve their lives in an honest way. this is a country of immigrants and one thing they learned when they came here was that working hard had them striving for the american dream with many achieving at least some of their dreams. for how many years did our educational system tell students that they can do the work or not and still get promoted to the next grade where the outcome was we had 18 year olds who could not read, write or add. our government does not play fair!

I totally agree boopster. I myself have known people that had government assistance and worked under the table and made out better than those working full time. Last year if I wouldn't have worked my kid could have gotten free lunches and we would have gotten the extra child care credit on our taxes too?? And the worst part about it is I would have been further ahead monetarily than I was working.
I know some people that are so lazy they don't want to work so they make up tales about what is wrong with them so they can go on disability and they get it but someone else that has real medical problems has to fight to get disability.
I am sorry for those that think the illegals deserve our hard earned money. They should have been deported immediately and not permitted to use our hospitals, schools and everything else on our dime. I read a news article a few years ago about an illegal that was getting free housing, free food stamps plus money to live and not have to work while the neighbor was working and scrimping to make ends meet? Where is the fairness in that. No wonder the illegals want to come here, our illustrious government will take care of them, spending our tax dollars then telling us they can't help us when we need it. What other country can you walk across the border and be taken care of? Others would imprison you and deport you. The joke, although not funny, is that the illegals are just undocumented democrats...
