Absolutely not everyone makes mistakes and nobody here has said that they don't. Believe me we all hope that she is innocent AND proven so

no one thinks that medical drs are infallible., however, the chances that a dr and a medical examiner are gonna either lie or make the same mistake are not very likely...a ME is alot more than a medical doctor... he's a specialist in pathology or forensic medicine. In some jurisdictions, a medical examiner must be both a doctor and a lawyer. In Kentucky, section 72.415 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes gives coroners and their deputies the full power and authority of peace officers. This includes the power of arrest and the authority to carry firearms.
so he would know the legal as well as medical aspects of it. and if the ER doctor was a D.O. instead of an M.D. he would have more extensive knowledge of damage to the bony areas of the body and would have more knowledge of the injuries from types of falls.

neither of them have anything to gain by saying these things if they aren't true, and both would have quite a bit to loose if they were wrong, so i'm sure they are positive of their opinions.

Modern_Day is on a distinguished road
But .. what if Anthony isn't a real name?

My intentions were to come out here and support the family, not bash docs and cops, although I am sure some of you may understand my animosity towards them. I won't discuss specifics of the case any longer.

I just pray the best for the family and that truth will be revealed.

as does everyone here........I know you don't think so but we really are praying that the death of this little darling was an accident. Either way it goes I hope the truth is found.......if it was an accident I hope the mother and family can begin to heal but if she did do something to cause the death of her daughter I hope she gets what is coming to her.

Update

http://bluegrassbeat.bloginky.com/20...to-grand-jury/

WINCHESTER — The case of a Winchester mother who has been charged with murder in the death of her 4-year-old daughter was waived Wednesday to a grand jury.

Wearing an orange jumpsuit, Jessilyn C. Robinson, 34, appeared in Clark District Court Wednesday for a preliminary hearing.
Robinson was arrested Sept. 25, accused of killing her adopted daughter, Faith Raeanne Robinson, who died of a closed-head injury on May 29.

Jessilyn Robinson told paramedics on May 28 that Faith fell in the bathtub at her McClure Road home, Clark County Sheriff Berl Perdue has said. Faith was initially taken to Clark Regional Medical Center and then to University of Kentucky Hospital, where she died the next day. Doctors said the injuries were inconsistent with a fall, Perdue said.

Because Faith had no outward injuries, deputies with the sheriff’s department waited until they received the official medical examiner’s report on her autopsy before arresting Robinson on Sept. 25.

The medical examiner’s report stated that Faith had suffered a subdural hematoma — a traumatic brain injury — and retinal hemorrhaging, which indicated that she had been shaken violently, Perdue said.

Not trying to defend this woman, but reading this local news story made me think of Faith's injuries. This man suffered closed head injuries from an impact injury. Is there just a small posibility that she might not have been harmed by her mom? I hope if she did it she gets what she deserves, but, now I do have a small doubt in the back of my mind...

Grand Rapids (WZZM) - A Grandville man is in critical condition after he was thrown from the back seat into the windshield of a car he was riding in.
Kevin Vangilder was one of three people in a car that crashed into the front of a home on Eastern Avenue Sunday morning.

Grand Rapids Police say the car heading west on Coldbrook left the road and hit the house.

The driver, a 39-year-old Grand Haven woman and her front seat passenger, a 39-year-old Grand Rapids man, had minor injuries.

Vangilder, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt in the back seat, hit the windshield with his head. He suffered a closed head injury and is critical condition at Butterworth Hospital.
