Pat Caddell: Media Have Become An “Enemy Of The American People”

In recent remarks to an AIM conference, “ObamaNation: A Day of Truth,” former Democratic pollster and analyst Pat Caddell said, “I think we’re at the most dangerous time in our political history in terms of the balance of power in the role that the media plays in whether or not we maintain a free democracy.”

Caddell noted that while First Amendment protections were originally provided to the press so they would protect the liberty and freedom of the public from “organized governmental power,” they had clearly relinquished the role of impartial news providers.

    Fascinating Chart of the Day

The yawning gulf between how Democrats and Republicans perceive the state of the economy:
    http://www.buzzfeed.com/bensmith/how...olitical-issue

Hmm... what could possibly account for such widely divergent perceptions of reality?

...Valentino Larcinese, Riccardo Puglisi, and James M. Snyder Jr. counted economics-related stories published by major American newspapers from 1988 to 2005 (for big-circulation chains) and 1996-2005 for the others.

....The authors ... found a clear and strong effect in the 102 papers they studied (all the newspapers in the NewsLibrary archive, plus the New York Times, the Chicago Tribune and Los Angeles Times). "When the unemployment rate was one percentage point above the average," they write, "newspapers with a strong propensity to endorse Republican candidates reacted with 15 percent per month more articles under Clinton than under Bush. For the same one percent increase, newspapers with a strong pro-Democratic endorsement policy have 9 percent less news on unemployment under Clinton than under Bush."

Are all media sources are considered? http://www.cgu.edu/PDFFiles/SPE/Beha...%206-30-09.pdf

Our results suggest that American newspapers tend to give more positive news coverage to the same economic news when Democrats are in the Presidency than for Republicans, and a similar though smaller effect is found for Democratic control of Congress. Our results reject the claim that “reader diversity is a powerful force toward accuracy.” When all types of news are pooled into a single analysis, our results are highly significant. However, the results vary greatly depending upon which types of economic data are being reported. When newspapers are examined individually the only support that Republicans appear to obtain is from the President’s home state newspapers during his term. This is true for the Houston Chronicle under both Bushes and the Los Angeles Times during Reagan. Contrary to rational expectations, media coverage affects people’s perceptions of the economy.
No wonder the NYTimes,WaPo, et al, are so threatened by the existence of a single conservative-leaning news network. Message discipline is so much easier when you control the microphone. http://www.mrc.org/node/39217

The Business and Media Institute analyzed broadcast network news references to gas or fuel prices between Jan. 20 and Feb. 20, 2012 and from March 24 and April 24, 2008. BMI found that in the 2008 period there were more than 4 times as many gas prices stories, news briefs or news headlines on ABC, CBS and NBC as there were in 2012 (97 to 21).
Coverage during the time periods differed not only in quantity, but in tone as well. During Bush’s tenure, gas prices were a huge economic threat and cause of suffering. The networks also used the high gas prices to attack the administration. In 2012, the networks aired mostly matter-of-fact stories on the rising gas prices, and worried primarily that they would hinder the economic recovery, not that they are making people suffer.

Dismal broadcast network reports about “skyrocketing” gas prices filled the newscasts in 2008. There were reports about businesses closing, airlines struggling and truckers protesting -- all because of the high prices. One ABC report said families were facing the “tough choice” between food or fuel. Others said that “wallets were running on empty” and consumers were told over and over that there was no relief in sight. But by the end of November 2008, prices had collapsed to $1.82.

The networks weren’t simply reporting the painfully high gas prices in early 2008 though, in many cases they were exaggerating them. NBC’s “Today” focused on Redwood City, Calif. on March 6 where regular gasoline cost $3.99, according to the photograph NBC aired. The national average for gas that day was $3.19 a gallon. Ann Curry also failed to tell viewers that California has the highest state gasoline tax in the nation, a whopping 45.5 cents a gallon at that time.

On gasoline specifically, reporters have routinely showed photos of extreme pump prices despite lower national averages. The Business and Media Institute documented this trend in 2007, 2006 and 2005.
When you stop to consider that most people seek out news sources that confirm their pre-existing biases, this result isn't all that surprising. But perhaps more importantly, it illustrates the dangers of assuming that people who don't think like conservatives will be persuaded by the same arguments that conservatives find persuasive. What is self evidently self evident to us, isn't to progressives.

Glenn Beck totals rental SUV after daughter’s wedding
By Dylan Stableford, Yahoo! News | The Lookout – Wed, Oct 10, 2012.

Glenn Beck wrecked a rental at his daughter's wedding over the weekend.

"So my rental car got totaled this weekend ... at my daughter's wedding," the outspoken talk-show host wrote on Twitter.

On his radio show on Tuesday, Beck described the ordeal, saying after the ceremony he parked the rental SUV—a Ford Explorer—along a rain-soaked hill in the Finger Lakes area of New York, and forgot to put on the parking brake. Beck and his wife had already gotten out of the car when it began to slide, eventually flipping over, he said.

The former Fox News host was at the door to his lakeside cottage when he heard his wife, Tania, scream.

"I see my wife dressed in her evening gown from the wedding, and she's holding on to the door handle of the car as the car is starting to slide down the hill, and I just said, 'Let it go honey,'" Beck said. "And the car rolled down the hill. And rolled. And flipped."

No one was hurt, though he said a member of his security team barely escaped injury from the SUV thinking one of Beck's kids was still inside.

He "got into the front of the car [and] looked behind him to see if my son was in the backseat," the 48-year-old conservative lightning rod continued. "He jumped out of the car just as it started to roll. ... It was like an action movie.

"I honestly said to the kids, 'Well let's go say our prayers and go to bed,'" Beck said. "It was just one of those days. I watched my car roll down the hill, literally roll. I just stood there. And I'm like, 'All right let's go to bed.'"

The next morning, Beck assessed the damage. "All the windows were broken out of it," he said. "The axle is bent. It was horrible."

Photos of the wreck were later posted on Beck's website, TheBlaze.com.

"This is like the end of 'Father of the Bride,'" he said. "Everything you've done. It's in God's hands now."

The rental was insured, Beck added.

ABC Censors Spike Characters Calling Obama a Communist on Tim Allen Sitcom
    By Tim Graham | October 14, 2012

Michael Schneider reported about campaign plot lines showing up in network sitcoms in the October 15-21 edition of TV Guide. NBC's gay sitcom "The New Normal" had an "Obama Mama" episode, and ABC's Tim Allen sitcom "Last Man Standing" will debut in November with an Obama-fan-vs-. Romney- fan plot.

In an age in which the networks can't seem to censor anything -- and in which ABC can put on a show like "Good Christian B it ches" (oops, let's abbreviate it) -- the censors will spike some things...like joking Barack Obama is a communist:

On Last Man Standing’s Season 2 premiere, set to air November 2 – four days before the election – Allen’s character, a Romney supporter lobbies his daughter, Mandy, to vote for the Republican candidate. On the other side, Mandy’s older sister makes a push for Obama. “It’ll be something regular people care about, so our characters should care about it,” says exec producer Tim Doyle.

Helping to balance the show is the fact that Doyle leans left, while Allen leans slightly right of center. Allen says the episode goes “back and forth, weighted so it’s like a teeter-totter. But at the end, I wanted it off balance.” He won’t say how it finally tilts.

Doyle and Allen did have to fight the network and studio on some content. Specifically, Allen says the standards department took issue with his character calling Obama a communist. Allen fought to keep that in – noting he finds it funny when conservatives paint the president with that label – but it appears he lost that battle as none of the references made the final cut.

"We all really love Archie Bunker," said Allen of playing a Bunkeresque character. "And that's where we're going. I push every button and love pushing them." ABC won't allow certain buttons to be touched. It's almost funny that the censors would be so lax on sex and violence, but will clamp down like Bonnie Bluehair on Obama jokes. Is this their only Thou Shalt Not?
Update 12:42 | Matthew Sheffield. This isn't the first time that ABC has censored its own programming to please Democratic sensibilities. The famous 2006 mini-series "The Path to 9/11" was gutted by ABC at the behest of former president Bill Clinton. To this day, unlike any other highly rated programming that ABC has paid for, "Path" actually still has not been released on DVD due to pressure from Democrats.

    So in other words...

George W. Bush = Stupid Texan Chimpy Halliburton McHitler!
Mitt Romney = Mormon Cayman Islands Tax Evading R-Money!
Barack Obama = Don't call him a Communist, or you're racist.

    ..

God forbid ABC would offend "The Ministry of Truth".

    ..

Television and the media promote all kinds of destructive behavior. Specifically, their promotion of unwed motherhood is most disturbing when the evidence is considered. Our prisons are filled with the poor souls from these situations. High school drop out rates, physical abuse victims or perps, drug abusers, people on a variety of public assistance, the list is so disturbing. While the evidence does not show that these children cannot succeed and live normal lives, it does show incidents 17 to 30 TIMES higher for what most would consider not positive outcomes for these children. Yet television and other medias hold this situation up as normal and attempt to create positive role models of these mothers. Censoring criticism of obama is VERY consistent with television's efforts to promote destructive behavior. We could starve them out you know.

    ..

I guess it is time to write the folks at Disney a letter reminding them that Walt Disney was a capitalist who detested commu nism. Why does the truth so hurt the leftists??

"Good Christian B it ches" (oops, let's abbreviate it)

    'GCB,' or Good Christians Bashed
    By Brent Bozell | March 10, 2012 | 08:40

At the same time Washington was ablaze with outrage at the idea that Rush Limbaugh insulted a woman as a “s l u t,” ABC premiered a new Sunday night show called “GCB” – shortened from “Good Christian B it ches.” Limbaugh apologized. ABC displays no such contrition. They insulted only those Christians. In the midst of this trashy debut, ABC promoted a new sitcom coming in April titled “Don’t Trust The B---- in Apartment 23.”

ABC advertised the debut of “GCB” with a photo of actress Kristin Chenoweth in a choir robe cut way above the knee, as if such a thing exists. “Love One Another,” it read, dripping in sarcasm. That’s Hollywood’s definition of a “good Christian.”

Chenoweth plays Carlene Cockburn, the wealthy “queen b i tch,” who routinely quotes Bible verses with venom on the show. When her realtor friend won’t help her ruin the lead character, Amanda, Carlene threatens her business: “Read Job 1:21, the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away.” She launches wicked plots while the auto shop puts a “John 3:16" decal on her car. She tells her fellow plotters “God hates failure.”

Time TV critic James Poniewozik protested “I have a hard time believing that anyone will see themselves insulted by GCB: its target is not Christians but phonies.” Not so. There are certainly Christian hypocrites that can make for great grist in entertainment. But this show offers the viewing public no authentic Christians at all.

We can’t say this is surprising. Nor are we surprised by the shamelessly dishonest spin of ABC. Channing Dungey, a senior vice president of drama development for the Disney-owned network said she always knew this show was a “home run” from the beginning. The title was provocative, yes, but “treating religion and Christianity with respect is very important to everyone involved.”

Laugh track, please. What’s next? “Good Jewish Money-Grubbers” as “treating Judaism with respect” as well?

    Then there are the stars.

Chenoweth told the home team at ABCNews.com that “The Bible tells us that we're not supposed to judge, and people shouldn’t judge before seeing the show...I’m a Christian, I think that's pretty well known, and I would never do anything that I think crossed the line.”

The entire show crosses the line. It tries to cross the line. It begins with a California man driving frantically for the Mexican border with his mistress and a mountain of stolen cash. But the mistress decides to perform a sex act on him while he drives, leading to a fatal car crash. That’s what spurs the lead character, Amanda – now a widow -- to return to Dallas to live with her wealthy mother, played by Annie Potts.

Potts is second only to Chenoweth in spitting out cynical conservative “Christian” one-liners. She tells her daughter California is inferior to Texas because “we’ve got the same weather without the liberals.” She tells her daughter if she needs rehab to avoid the Baptists (“folding chairs”) and try the Episcopalians (“upholstered, with canapes.”) She says “cut the commie cr a p” when Amanda tries to keep her children from going to church. At episode’s end, she declares, “I feel confident the Good Lord would like me to have a new fur coat. God often speaks to me through Christian Dior.”

Anyone wasting a whole hour waiting for one good character would place their hopes on widowed Amanda, played by the actress Leslie Bibb. For most of the show, she’s renouncing how badly she behaved in high school and wants a job to pay for her own house. But when she can’t find a job, we get a ridiculous 180-degree turn. She starts working at a Hooters-aping restaurant called “Boobylicious,” which she discovers is owned by Chenoweth’s husband.

This badly contrived plot sets up the final battle of the GCBs. When Chenoweth protests “we live in a righteous community,” Bibb’s character rips up Dallas. “Fun fact. Dallas has more churches per capita than anywhere on earth. Also, Dallas has more strip clubs per capita than anywhere on earth. Two plus two equals a double standard.”

Ignore whether the “fun fact” is true – multiple cities claim to have the most churches per capita. Also, Portland claims the title of most strip clubs. This line neatly summarizes ABC’s take on churchy Christians. Anywhere they gather in great numbers, their badly hidden sins and perversions naturally trail closely behind. Christians, the audience at home should believe, are nothing but phonies. No other faith in America gets lined up for this kind of bashing.

As anyone could have predicted, ABC is clearly pitching “GCB” as a replacement for the dying soap “Desperate Housewives,” merely adding the Texas Christian angle to make the plots extra-scandalous. Hollywood seems to think everyone is a selfish and cynical hypocrite. But not everyone lives in a gaudy piranha bowl like they do in Tinseltown.

New Jersey Republican Governor Chris Christie helped fire up the crowd at a rally for Romney in Virginia this weekend. Check out his inspiring speech and epic drubbing of President Obama’s failures. Christie wondered why on earth President Obama thinks anyone would give him another four years, after Obama himself claimed that he can’t change Washington from the inside the White House. http://twitchy.com/2012/09/20/droppi...n-from-inside/ He added that what we need to do is give President Obama a plane ticket back to Chicago.

More from Jammie Wearing Fool: http://www.jammiewf.com/2012/chris-c...-in-va-speech/

Christie continued to question Obama’s leadership, explaining that the President would rather blame everyone else for his failures.

“‘It’s anybody’s fault but mine.’ he says, ‘Please, give me another four years, and I will figure it out,’” Christie added, channeling the President.

“You know what, Mr. President?” Christie added. “I am tired of waiting for you to figure it out.”

Liar-in-Chief on Leno shows trademark dishonesty discussing Mourdock rape remarks
Posted by: ST on October 25, 2012 at 10:57 am

    Infuriating: http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/...o-rape-is-rape

During an appearance on “The Tonight Show” taped Wednesday evening, President Obama slammed Richard Mourdock over the Republican Senate candidate’s controversial comments about pregnancies resulting from rape.

Asked by host Jay Leno about Mourdock’s comments, in which the Indiana state treasurer said during a debate http://thehill.com/video/campaign/26...nded-to-happen Tuesday evening that “even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape that it is something God intended to happen,” the president said “rape is rape.”

“I don’t know how [they] come up with these ideas … rape is rape. It is a crime,” the president said.
“These various distinctions about rape … don’t make any sense to me.”

Mourdock, an evangelical Christian, says abortion should only be legal when necessary to prevent the death of the mother. He argues it should be illegal in cases of rape and incest. Many who share his faith believe God chooses when conception occurs and that abortion is equivalent to murder.

In a press conference Wednesday, Mourdock accused Democrats of twisting the meaning of his comments. http://thehill.com/blogs/healthwatch...ed-his-meaning

“I would be less than faithful to my faith if I said anything other than ‘Life is precious.’ I think it is a gift from God. I don’t think God would ever want anyone harmed, sexually abused or raped. I think it’s wrong when someone wants to take what I said and twist it,” Mourdock said.
There is no one in their right mind, and who is not blinded by naked political bigotry and desperation, who can watch the video of Mourdock’s debate comments and/or read the quote itself and conclude he “supports rape” and/or thinks there are “various distinctions about rape.” Anyone who suggests that’s what Mourdock said is DELIBERATELY lying and shamelessly pandering to a key voting bloc by way of vicious character assassination using “facts” that have no basis in reality. NO ONE SUPPORTS RAPE, and NO ONE thinks rape is NOT A CRIME. Also, it’s INSULTING to women across America for him to think he can just say these things and women will automatically fall for it. Well, some will – but many more will NOT. I’m personally fed up with this bull sh*t!

And he said all this not in front of a WH press corps that is eager to talk to him, that might actually question him on his comments, but on a friendly-to-liberals late night show like Leno’s.

This is absolutely contemptible and unbefitting of the office of the Presidency. Shame on you, Mr. President. Shame on you.

Thank goodness the gender gap appears to be closing. This man deserves to lose and lose big next month, especially among women voters.

    http://sistertoldjah.com/archives/20...-rape-remarks/

Obviously, he didn’t read the whole quote…cherry picking at its finest. No need to deal with facts here folks, move along.

    October 25, 2012 4:00 A.M.
    Reading God’s Will in Indiana

Attempting to read the divine will is a notoriously perilous enterprise, all the more so in the middle of a hotly contested Senate race. Richard Mourdock, the Republican nominee from Indiana, has come to appreciate this fact since answering a debate question about his views on abortion in cases of rape. “I struggled with it myself for a long time, but I came to realize that life is that gift from God. And, I think, even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something that God intended to happen.”

Mourdock was not saying that God intended for the rape to happen — a thought that, taken seriously, would be heretical for a Christian to utter. Nor was he minimizing the anguish of rape, or of pregnancy resulting from rape. His remarks were unlike those of Todd Akin, the Republican Senate candidate from Missouri. Mourdock was not glibly denying that his pro-life principles could ever entail terrible torment.

In discussing these painful matters, we should keep in mind that there are real people involved. There are women who have been raped, too many of them, and we should never tell them, or say anything that can be heard as telling them, that God wanted them to be raped. There are people who were conceived in rape, and neither should we suggest that God does not consider their lives a blessing. Nor should we convey the impression that Christians believe either of these things.

For Mourdock to invoke God’s will was not merely a political mistake. Pro-life Christians and Jews do not believe that God has told us explicitly that unborn children have the same right not to be killed that newborns, toddlers, adolescents, and adults do. We believe that God has given us the power of reason, the ability to acquire knowledge, and the obligation to do justice. Science tells us that human lives begin at conception. Reason persuades us that it is wrong to will the death of human beings, regardless of their age, location, or state of dependency; and wrong, as well, to withhold legal protection on such bases. Our argument does not, that is, proceed from any claim to special access to the mind of God.

It is reasoning, as well, that persuades us that the innocent human beings created through rape deserve protection. We recognize that most people — even most people who believe that abortion should generally be prohibited — do not share this view. There are very few places in the country where a ban on abortion in cases of rape is even a remote possibility. What, then, should pro-lifers who believe that justice requires this ban do? What they have already been doing: Working first toward legal protection for the other 99 percent of unborn children, while seeking to change minds on this question toward the goal of more complete legal protection.

Mourdock has hurt himself by bringing attention, clumsily, to a position he holds that places him in a distinct minority. That position is, however, more than defensible, and it follows logically from very widely shared pro-life premises. President Obama’s support for partial-birth abortion, taxpayer-funded abortion, late-term abortion, and a type of infanticide is also an unpopular set of positions that follows logically from certain premises, albeit very different ones. Some of these views have actually been the law of the land, and others have a greater likelihood of becoming law than a ban on abortions in cases of rape. What a pity that the media’s interest in politicians who espouse unpopular views on abortion is so selective.

Ted Turner: “I think it’s good” that more U.S. troops are dying of suicide than in combat
    3:34 PM 10/25/2012

The following conversation happened last week. But because it was on CNN, and especially because it was on Piers Morgan’s show, you’re only just hearing about it now.

Be warned: the video is from Prison Planet. But that doesn’t mean Turner didn’t say it.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=DnLdgAfX9tw

Is he trying to win Jane back or something?

It’s perhaps futile to try to discern meaning from Turner’s blathering, and by “perhaps” I mean “obviously.” But I guess he’s saying that since war is bad, it’s good when the people who fight in wars kill themselves? Well, it doesn’t matter anyway, now that Obama has singlehandedly killed Bin Laden and there’s no such thing as war anymore. Yay!

It hasn’t been cool to be anti-war since January 20, 2009, but pretty soon it’ll be making a comeback. Once again, Ted Turner is ahead of the curve.

If Turner's convoluted, non sequitur stupidity isn't the best example of the deranged liberal mind, I don't know what is.....except for Biden's body of work.

Turner's idiotic conclusion is typical of the Left's penchant for the false equivalency. War is bad, therefore anyone engaged in war is bad, therefore their death is good. But what if one side is defending itself from attack, or defending a weak victim nation? Aren't those soldiers then heroes for risking their lives to defend the weak, or eliminate aggressor nations? Was America as bad as Nazi Germany? Apparently, at least in the minds of abject morons like Turner and Fonda.

Ted Turner tells Piers Morgan soldier suicides are good

In an interview with CNN host Piers Morgan last week, Media mogul and CNN founder Ted Turner said the fact that there have been more suicides than combat deaths in the Army this year is not “shocking,” but “good.”

Highlighted first by Breitbart.com, the Oct. 19 interview has Turner speculating that “it’s time to put war and conflict behind us and move on,” and the rising rate of self-inflicted troop deaths is good because it brings attention to that view.

    Here’s the exchange: http://www.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1210/19/pmt.01.html

TURNER: It’s time to put war and conflict behind us and move on, and start acting like civilized, educated human beings.

MORGAN: You made the point to me in the break there, more American servicemen have –

TURNER: — are dying now from suicide over there than are dying in combat.

    MORGAN: That’s shocking, isn’t it?

TURNER: Well, what — no, I think it’s — I think it’s good, because it’s so clear that we’re programmed and we’re born to love and help each other, not to kill each other, to destroy each other. That’s an aberration. That’s left over from hundreds of years ago. It’s time for to us start acting enlightened.
President Barack Obama has spoken out to condemn Indiana Senate candidate Richard Mourdock’s controversial comments on abortion and rape in recent days. Will he let this remark go unaddressed?

Gingrich Rumor: “At Least Two Networks Have Emails From the National Security Adviser’s Office Telling Counterterrorism Group to Stand Down”
    October, 31, 2012 — nicedeb

Last night, Newt Gingrich dropped a bombshell on the Greta Van Susteren Show. He said that, according to a very reliable source, (a US Senator) at least two major networks have in their possession secret emails that prove that it was the White House itself that put the kibosh on the rescue operation that could have saved four American lives in Benghazi.

If this rumor is true it should be all over for Obama. This isn’t 2008 where the LA Times can sit on a damning videotape and get away with it. Now we have multiple news organizations sitting on explosive information that every American ought to know in order to make an informed decision on November 6. And Newt Gingrich just went on national television and told the world about it. They owe it not only to their country but to their own credibility release them.

    Via The Daily Caller: http://dailycaller.com/2012/10/31/gi...#ixzz2AsfTKRnV

“There is a rumor — I want to be clear, it’s a rumor — that at least two networks have emails from the National Security Adviser’s office telling a counterterrorism group to stand down,” Gingrich said. “But they were a group in real-time trying to mobilize marines and C-130s and the fighter aircraft, and they were told explicitly by the White House stand down and do nothing. This is not a terrorist action. If that is true, and I’ve been told this by a fairly reliable U.S. senator, if that is true and comes out, I think it raises enormous questions about the president’s role, and Tom Donilon, the National Security Adviser’s role, the Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, who has taken it on his own shoulders, that he said don’t go. And that is, I think, very dubious, given that the president said he had instructions they are supposed to do everything they could to secure American personnel.”

Later on, Gingrich referenced another “October surprise” that he thinks will break in the coming days.

“The other big story, I think, that is going to break is on corruption and extraordinary waste in the solar power grants and direct involvement by the Obama White House, including the president, in the solar panel grants involving billions of dollars, and I suspect that’s going to break Wednesday and Thursday of this week,” Gingrich added.
That story, I would like to point out, has already broken in the right wing blogosphere. http://nicedeb.wordpress.com/2012/10...th-kyle-clark/

Last night, Sean Hannity dropped his own bombshell when he spoke of audiotapes he’s heard the Obama administration is holding on to of Tyrone Woods pleading for help. “I’ve heard they’re damning.” http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2012...damning-video/

    Amber Lyon provides the answer(s).

CNN Exposed, Emmy Winning Former CNN Journalist, Amber Lyon Blows The Whistle, Let me repeat that. CNN is paid by the US government for reporting on some events, and not reporting on others. The Obama Administration pays for CNN content

CNN never aired the Nick Robertson report in Egypt because it completely contradicted the Obama Administration, and Hillary Clinton State Department, Egyptian assertions. In short, it proved they were lying – BIG TIME. The refusal to air the real reasoning for the Egyptian Embassy assault was intentional protection of President Obama specifically orchestrated by the CNN News group. Specific, intentional, lying.

(Thank you Joyce for this article)

The central issue is Media Controlled by The Obama Administration, and more specifically CNN – as a VERIFIED tool for propaganda and disinformation.

Within this Canadian video report you will find footage of a CNN story on Egypt and Mohammed Al Zawahiri. It was produced by well-known CNN Journalist Nick Robertson. The entire video is excellent, but the pertinent aspect is at the 1:30 mark.

In the previous thread I asked two central questions. http://theconservativetreehouse.com/...utright-lying/ The Second Question was: http://theconservativetreehouse.com/...utright-lying/

Why would CNN [or CNNi] refuse to air the Nick Robertson report with Muhammed Al Zawahiri (brother of Ayman Al Zawahiri) that clearly shows the Egyptian uprising was 100% in response to his call for protests for release of the Blind sheik on 9-11.? Why would the “most trusted name in news“, hide the report showing the truth, and instead allow the false narrative to be sold, by them, to the American electorate?

Apparently they have a history of this no-one knew about. UNTIL NOW.

Amber Lyon is an award-winning journalist who worked for CNN.

She says she was ordered to report fake stories, delete unfriendly stories adverse to the Obama administration (like the Nick Robertson report), and construct stories in specific manners while working for the left-wing network.

CNN is paid by foreign and domestic Government agencies for specific content.

    Let me repeat that.

CNN is paid by the US government for reporting on some events, and not reporting on others. The Obama Administration pays for CNN content.

    Let that sink in.

Additionally CNN and CNN International are also paid by foreign governments to avoid stories that are damaging, and construct narratives that show them in a better, albeit false, light.

Amber Lyon is a three-time Emmy winning investigative journalist and photographer. She accuses CNN of being “fake news.”

Back in March 2011, CNN sent a four person team to Bahrain to cover the Arab Spring. Once there, the crew was the subject of extreme intimidation amongst other things, but they were able to record some fantastic footage. As Glenn Greenwald of the UK’s Guardian writes in his blockbuster artclei…:

“In the segment, Lyon interviewed activists as they explicitly described their torture at the hands of government forces, while family members recounted their relatives’ abrupt disappearances. She spoke with government officials justifying the imprisonment of activists. And the segment featured harrowing video footage of regime forces shooting unarmed demonstrators, along with the mass arrests of peaceful protesters. In sum, the early 2011 CNN segment on Bahrain presented one of the starkest reports to date of the brutal repression embraced by the US-backed regime.

Despite these accolades, and despite the dangers their own journalists and their sources endured to produce it, CNN International (CNNi) never broadcast the documentary. Even in the face of numerous inquiries and complaints from their own employees inside CNN, it continued to refuse to broadcast the program or even provide any explanation for the decision. To date, this documentary has never aired on CNNi.
Having just returned from Bahrain, Lyon says she “saw first-hand that these regime claims were lies, and I couldn’t believe CNN was making me put what I knew to be government lies into my reporting.”

Here is a segment of the Bahrain report that Amber Lyon and her team put together. CNNi refused to allow it to air because the Bahrain Government had paid them not to show it.

When Amber Lyon recognized the extent of the reasoning, she challenged CNN. CNN told her to be quiet, and began to view her as a risk. She knew, and found out, too much.

Amber is now trying to tell the story, the real story, of what is going on behind the closed doors of US Media entities. Amber has created her own website http://www.amberlyonlive.com/ , and additionally as noted in the Guardian Article she is trying to share the truth of the deceptions. https://docs.google.com/document/pub...rypn_B0VDVm1cA

What Amber Lyon describes is exactly the reason why CNN never aired the Nick Robertson interview with Muhammed Al Zawahiri in Egypt.

Amber recently did a web interview with Alex Jones on InfoWars. Generally the TreeHouse does not appreciate Alex Jones. He is wound up tighter than piano wire, and unfortunately much of his truth is diminished because of the hype he places upon it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGDVz...layer_embedded Alex Jones is easy to disregard as a “conspiracy theorist”, not because of what he says, but because of how he says it. Everything is desperate and dangerous with him.

That said, the words and explanations of Ms. Lyon in the discussion/interview are poignant and vastly informative. So I share the video with you so you can hear from Amber herself exactly what is being described and articulated.

It is critical to listen towhat she says, not just about Bahrain but also about what the Obama administration is specifically doing. Just try to overlook the Alex Jones-ism, and focus on what Amber Lyon is sharing. https://docs.google.com/document/pub...rypn_B0VDVm1cA
