Ok, before I post the article I would like to step on the soapbox and say the following:

1) If I were the parents of 7 year old, I would definitely want the 11 year old on the Sex Offenders Registry.

2) 2 years PROBATION won't do jacks hit!

3) Testing the PARENTS of the 11 year old for drugs? What the Fluck is THAT about?

4) I would be absolutely LIVID if I were the parents of the VICTIM!!!!

5) All they have done is basically slapped his wrists and it will not prevent him from doing it again, but it WILL teach him to "not get caught".

Boy, 11, Gets Probation In School Bus Sex Case

HOWELL, Mich. -- An 11-year-old accused of sexual misconduct involving a 7-year-old boy on a Howell school bus has received two years of probation and ordered to undergo counseling.

The boy was sentenced on Monday. His parents have been ordered to receive counseling and undergo random drug and alcohol tests.

A plea agreement of gross indecency between males was accepted last month to keep the boy's name off Michigan's sex offender registry.

The boy can return to school, pending district approval.

A 10-year-old co-defendant faces an April 7 settlement conference.

Both boys are accused of forcing the 7-year-old to perform oral sex.

If it follows juvie procedure it will be sealed when he turns 18 anyway... but other people ( in the school system ... ) need to be aware of the problems these children clearly have.

ah ... yeah. So the can - what - give him 5 years probation next time.

We all know there is going to be a "next time".


The behavior was learned somewhere....

I would like to see if this is a step towards removing them from the home.

feeling sorry for the parents of this 11 year old, and possibly the other 10 year old (or their siblings, for the scrutiny and anguish the siblings will face in school as a result of this mess)...and for the welfare of every other single kid / family in that school district.

I would be afraid to have my kids go to school with them. They could and probably will do it again. If they go back to the same school it'll get around what happened, at least I hope it does.
