Exclamation for those voting for barak obama!!!

this is a real eye opener to me! of course i'm more for hilary anyway. He has been loosing appeal with his attitude since the caucuas here in Iowa. I got this in a email.

Obama mentioned his church during his appearance with Oprah. It's the Trinity Church of Christ (Chicago).
Barack Obama is a member of this church and is running for President of the U.S.
If you look at the first page of their website, you will learn that this congregation has a non-negotiable commitment to Black Africa .
Doesn't the President of the United States have to have a first commitment to the United States of America?
To think that Obama has even the slightest chance in the run for the presidency, is really scary.

Click on the Trinity Church web page link below:

http://tucc.org/about.htm

This is the web page for the church Barack Obama belongs to:

I do NOT believe everything i read. However i do believe by his actions, he thinks since he is a black man he has all but said he will the presidency. And that everyone was wrong saying a black man was wrong, it could not be done. Those were his words after he won Iowa.

I really haven't decided who to vote for at this point, but did take a look at the church's website. This is how it reads:

The Pastor as well as the membership of Trinity United Church of Christ is committed to a 10-point Vision:

1. A congregation committed to ADORATION.
2. A congregation preaching SALVATION.
3. A congregation actively seeking RECONCILIATION.
4. A congregation with a non-negotiable COMMITMENT TO AFRICA.
5. A congregation committed to BIBLICAL EDUCATION.
6. A congregation committed to CULTURAL EDUCATION.
7. A congregation committed to the HISTORICAL EDUCATION OF AFRICAN PEOPLE IN DIASPORA.
8. A congregation committed to LIBERATION.
9. A congregation committed to RESTORATION.
10. A congregation working towards ECONOMIC PARITY

It doesn't actually read "Black Africa", unless it's listed elsewhere on the website. I don't find alot wrong with it really, he's proud of his race and obviously identifies more with his African American roots even though he is bi-racial. Sure some black voters will vote for him strictly because he is black, just like some women will vote for Hillary because she is a woman. Just looking at those 10 points listed above, it also says some very good things. Also just because he says (rather the church he attends) he has a non-negotiable commitment to another country doesn't necessarily mean he puts them over or above the US. KWIM?

Obama

But when he spoke at my sons University and questions were asked about funding for education, he spoke of black and minorities. He also spoke of various plans and programs and implied they were his when in reality they were not and were already in the works before he took office.

His recent debacle was regaing Hilary and Martin Luther King. He tried to make it race. I am not a Clinton fan but her words were correct. Dr. King did not act alone. He had much help from the white community. Just like during the time of slavery. Many whites helped escaped blacks to the north. But this is never mentioned.

Me

edited to add:

I saw the head of his chirch on a show and he was speaking about this very issue. His response was white churches do the same thiing and no one says anything about whites promoting white beliefs.
What? I have never heard of that in any church I have attended. Not saying somewhere it does not happen but I do not believe that it is the norm like he tried to imply. The churches I have gone to all promote God and the bible.

I agree with you on this,I find nothing wrong with the church,or their 10 points committment. You may be right when you said that some black people will vote for him because he is black ,and some women will vote for Hillary because she is a women, and I will add that some white peope will vote for others because they don't want to see a black men or a women in the White House.
