I heard this morning on the radio that they are recalling a certain model number of Easy Bake Ovens. They seem to be the pink and purple ones with a number of "65805" on the back.

Children have been getting their hands stuck when getting out a product and getting burnt.

If they use the right tool to remove the cake pan from the oven their hands are not near where they could get stuck at. There is a couple of other threads about this and one has a number you can call for an "add on kit"!

The easy bake oven has to be the dumbest and most over rated child's TOY out there to be purchased. Yes my girls both had one. If your child is old enought to play with this toy and not get burned , he or she is old enough to use the real oven. JMO
