‘I Don’t Give a Damn’: ESPN Host Goes on EPIC Rant About Mark Cuban and Race After Being Labeled an ‘Uncle Tom’

Mark Cuban lit up the media world with bluntly honest comments about race, and this caused a predictable flare-up in the racial grievance industry.

When ESPN’s eloquent firebrand Stephen A. Smith boldly said he had “no problem whatsoever” with Cuban’s comments, the predictable hate-mail and racial epithets started flowing in to the popular sports commentator. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014...-an-uncle-tom/

What did Cuban say that was so controversial?


“I know I’m prejudiced, and I know I’m bigoted in a lot of different ways.”

“If I see a black kid in a hoodie on my side of the street, I’ll move to the other side of the street. If I see a white guy with a shaved head and tattoos (on the side he now is on), I’ll move back to the other side of the street. None of us have pure thoughts; we all live in glass houses.”

Wait, Cuban here is saying that it’s not race that is making him suspicious, but appearances potentially associated with criminal elements.

Let’s just say Stephen A. Smith nukes the phony outrage that blew out of Cuban’s comment, some of it coming from people who are mortally afraid that America might move beyond racial bigotry and start judging people by their character and their actions.

Memorably, Smith also gives his view of the “American Dream.” He points out that pro athletes and rap singers, who are idolized by so millions, have careers that are a “fantasy turned reality.” What makes people accomplish the “American Dream” is dedication and “pounding the pavement,” not a one-in-a-billion talent that fascinates millions.

After all is said and done, Smith’s rant is one of the most brutally honest and refreshing televised commentaries on race in a long time.

Let me state this up front, I stand with ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith. I am sick and tired of race-baiting pimps in the black community always attacking other blacks because they speak the honest truth. I know what it means to be called an Uncle Tom, sellout, Oreo, white man’s porch monkey, and house Negro. Mr. Smith’s response to his ignorant accusers was spot on. Here it is if you’ve missed it.

This entire episode began with Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban’s reference to crossing the street to avoid a young black kid in a hoodie or a bald white male with tattoos all over his neck and face — relating to a sense of fear for his personal security.

It’s a funny thing –civil rights icon and race hustler entrepreneur, Reverend Jesse Jackson Sr. admitted 20 years ago, “There is nothing more painful to me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about robbery. Then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved… After all we have been through. Just to think we can’t walk down our own streets, how humiliating.”

So the dirty little secret is that blacks get upset when they’re called out for their abhorrent behavior and then lash out at those who are just as black for doing the same. We’re at a point in America where the term racism means little to nothing. It has become a political battering ram and a growing number are just simply tired of hearing about it. The fateful result will be that when it actually presents itself, no one will pay attention.

Mark Cuban succumbed to the pressure and apologized, but he had no reason to, and Stephen A. Smith was right to step in and “cover his six.” And you detractors all know that I stand with Smith when he says, “I don’t give a damn” what you say about me. The truth prevails, and name-calling just confirms a lack of intellectual rigor.

This GoFundMe Race-Baiting Stunt Proves There’s a Sucker Born Every Minute

Looks like there’s a race hustler born every minute, and a sucker just waiting to fall for the bait. The effects of the divisive racial nation that Barack Obama and Eric Holder have worked so hard to create can be clearly seen in this woman’s GoFundMe account.



YayaM, a black woman from New York, is in search of her own reparations via the website GoFundMe. Her entry is entitled “I Need Some White Privilege.” She claims that she has “layered oppressions that have affected her ability to access her slice of the American Pie.” The main reason for her lack of achievement to the levels she believes she should have attained is none other than white privilege.

From being assumed to have “cheated” my way into programs for gifted children AND college (via affirmative action), to having my natural hair viewed as unprofessional amongst professional peers, to having people make negative assumptions about my competency level, interests, and job knowledge, to being viewed as naturally dangerous or threatening, my lack of white privilege has created numerous obstacles as I’ve struggled to successfully compete in a white dominated workforce. I am hoping that, through this campaign, I will begin to make some headway towards closing the gap that white privilege has created in my life.

But, don’t worry. If you give her money, she will give you something in return. Namely, she agrees to be your ‘token black friend.” That’s what some sucker will receive with just the entry-level amount of $5. With each increase in level, she ups her willingness of what she will do for you. From translating Ebonics into what she calls White American English, allowing you to touch her hair, even giving you her grandmother’s collard greens recipe.

YayaM has it all planned out. If she ridicules and mocks white people enough to bring out their white guilt, then she can get paid! In fact, at the top threshold of a $250 donation, she will dress like a cop and harass you on the street so that you can get street cred. Someone will record the altercation and post it on WorldStarHipHop.com. That particular ‘special’ is only offered to New York City residents. I wonder if someone paid her airfare, if she’d allow him or her to give her the $250 for the role-play situation.

Unfortunately, this is not a joke. YayaM is so serious that she even explains how she arrived the shakedown amount of $135,000.

((For those of you interested to know how I came up with a dollar amount for white privilege the answer is less complex than you might think. As someone who has historically been classified by the United States government as a Black/African American woman, I’ve been earning anywhere from 63-69% of what a white man makes for the same work since I entered the workforce in 1999. Even if I control for part-time work as a teenager and consider increases in pay as I grew older/more experienced and changed my field, that still averages out to about a $9000 deficit for each year I’ve been employed. Multiply that by 15 years of hustle and you have my total.))

In an even more sad testimony to the messed up nature of our society, YayaM’s race baiting scheme has earned her $4,935 in donations from 291 people in one week’s time.

Yes, there is a sucker born every minute and someone who is eager and willing to take advantage of them.

A few years ago, the principal of an Oregon elementary school deemed peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to be racist. Her thought process was that the sandwich, a favorite among many children, might not translate among all students based upon their ethnic background.

Just when we thought the ridiculousness of race baiting couldn’t get any worse, it does. There is a new target facing wild claims of racism from far left loon Tracey Van Slyke who writes for The Guardian. Van Slyke believes that the much-loved children’s show Thomas and Friends, starring Thomas the Tank Engine, is racist and her ‘rationale’ may just leave you scratching your head. http://www.theguardian.com/commentis...ildren-parents

For the record, all the “villains” on Thomas and Friends are the dirty diesel engines. I’d like to think there was a good environmental message in there, but when the good engines pump out white smoke and the bad engines pump out black smoke – and they are all pumping out smoke – it’s not hard to make the leap into the race territory.

Yes, you read that correctly. Because the ‘bad trains’ have black smoke and Thomas, the good train, has white smoke, the show, according to Van Slyke, is filled with racist undertones.

Her nonsense doesn’t stop there. She also accused Thomas the Tank Engine of being sexist.

In the episode “Tickled Pink”, poor vain James, is ordered by Topham Hat to get a new coat of paint. But while James has only had an undercoat of pink slathered on, Topham Hatt interrupts and demands that James go pick up Hatt’s granddaughter and deliver her and her friends to a birthday party right now.

James is mortified that he has to travel while pink and proceeds to hide from all the other trains along the way. When he’s caught, the other trains – including Thomas – viciously laugh and mock him.

She bases her cry of sexism on the lack of female trains in the children’s show citing the fact that the British Labor Transportation Secretary said the show is setting a bad example for girls.

Van Slyke’s train issues have her reveling in the fact that the voice of Thomas the Tank Engine quit the show over salary issues. Next thing you know, people like Van Slyke will be calling those who wear white t-shirts racist.
