Pay Attention to Hillary Clinton’s Body Language as Jim Jordan Relentlessly Grills Her for First Blaming Video for Benghazi Attacks

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) relentlessly questioned former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Thursday over why she and other administration officials initially blamed a YouTube video for the Benghazi terror attacks, a claim contrary to available intelligence at the time.



“Your experts knew the truth, your spokesperson knew the truth, Greg Hicks knew the truth,” Jordan said during a House Benghazi Committee hearing. “But what troubles me more is I think you knew the truth.”

Jordan accused Clinton of telling the president of Libya, Egyptian prime minister and even family members that terrorists were behind the attack, but later suggested an anti-Muslim video sparked the attack.

“The American people want to know why,” Jordan added.

“If you look at the statement that I made, I clearly said it was an attack,” Clinton replied.

“Calling it an attack is like saying the sky is blue — of course it was an attack,” Jordan shot back.

At one point, Clinton looked visibly annoyed by Jordan’s line of questioning.

In Benghazi hearing, Hillary makes SHOCKING revelation about email

Even with a woman from whom we’ve come to expect less than the truth, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s revelation today during today’s House Benghazi Committee hearing is one for the books.

Hillary Clinton says she did not generally send or receive emails during the daytime during her tenure as Secretary of State, despite copious evidence to the contrary.

“I did not email during the day except on rare occasions when I was able to,” Clinton said. Clinton spent a chunk of time at Thursday’s House Benghazi Committee hearing defending herself against the suggestion that she exposed classified information on email, saying that she did not conduct the business of the U.S. government on email.

Clinton said that she did agency business in classified briefings, including times when couriers brought her information that was “so top-secret it was brought into my office in briefcases” and had to be immediately returned to the courier.

However, State Department email dumps show many instances of Clinton emailing during the day, with her top aides, with her personal friends, with her adviser Sidney Blumenthal, and with many others.

Clinton even went so far as to reveal she didn’t even have a computer in her office at the State Department. Really? What, did she need to reserve desk space for her fax machine? Someone might want to let Hillary know the 1980s called and want their office setup back.

Of course, we’ve all seen the now-iconic photo of Clinton checking her email on her BlackBerry. Perhaps her claiming to not have a computer is simply a Clinton-esque definition; things like BlackBerries and iPads (which she’s discussed in her emails!) conveniently don’t count as ways to access her emails.

And despite her not using email much, the State Department is supposedly overwhelmed by the requests for her tens of thousands of emails. Which she and her staff took great pains to “wipe” clean from her personal server.

Yeah, it all adds up perfectly. This woman who wants to be president thinks we’re all too stupid to see through her blatant lies that blatantly contradict tangible proof. The truly sad thing is how many American voters seem to be proving her right.

What all this Hillary/ Bloomenthal brouhaha boils down to, is Hillary was busy helping Bloomenthal with his Libyan business interests and in return he would donate to the Clinton Foundation. In other words Hillary was too busy because of money, money, money, to pay any attention to a mere ambassador . Ambassador Stevens emails begging for help didn't put money in Hillary's pocket.

Take a Look at How Hillary Reacts When Congresswoman Unexpectedly Pulls out Two Stacks of Email

“I’d like to show you something,” Brooks said to Clinton as she pulled out the stacks of emails.

In one pile, Brooks said, were emails that Clinton sent or received on Libya in 2011.

In the other were emails she sent or received on Libya from early 2012 until the Sept. 11, 2012, terrorist attack that left four Americans dead.

“There are 795 emails in this pile,” Brooks said of the first pile. “There are 67 emails in this pile in 2012. And I’m troubled by what I see here.”

Brooks said there were “daily updates” from Libya in the 2011 emails, but only a “handful” of emails on Benghazi were sent from her senior staff in 2012.

Brooks continued to hammer on Hillary saying, “We know from talking to your senior advisers that they knew…to send you important information. I can only conclude by your own records that there was a lack in interest in Libya in 2012.”

Do you smell that? Take a quick whiff.

That, my friends, is the sweet scent of Hillary Clinton’s biscuits being burned on both sides.

Brooks grilled her good, and let me tell you, this woman deserves everything she gets and a whole lot more. Just look at her face when she saw the emails. It must be scary living a life where you could get busted at any single moment.

Why would there be a sudden disinterest in Libya in 2012?

Could it possibly be because Clinton — and Obama’s other flunkies — couldn’t see any political advantage that could be had from the situation unfolding there that would benefit the president’s reelection campaign?

We all know this administration doesn’t do jack unless it somehow benefits liberals politically or helps further the advance of the progressive agenda in our culture, therefore, there had to be some reason why Hillary wasn’t paying attention to what was going on.

This woman and many others allowed this attack to unfold, costing the lives of four Americans, then lied through their teeth to cover it up to avoid negative political blowback for Obama’s reelection campaign.

It’s sick to say the least, and these individuals absolutely need to be held accountable for what happened and measures taken to prevent such a tragedy from unfolding in the future.

Hillary Just Made A Claim At Benghazi Hearing That Many Are Having A Hard Time Believing

Hillary Clinton appeared before the House Select Committee on Benghazi on Thursday.

In Clinton’s appearance, she contends that she did not conduct much of her State Department business via email.

It is one of her claims in particular in regards to technology that is raising some eyebrows.

Hillary Clinton claims that as Secretary of State, she had no computer in her Foggy Bottom office.

She was asked about her relative lack of emails regarding the Benghazi crisis by Congresswoman Susan Brooks, R-Ind., and replied: “Well, congresswoman, I did not conduct most of the business I did on behalf of our country on email. I conducted it in meetings, I read massive amounts of memos, great deal of classified information, I made a lot of secure phone calls, I was in and out of the White House all the time.”

Clinton went on: “There were a lot of things that happened that I was aware of and that I was reacting to. If you were to be in my office in the State Department, I didn’t have a computer, I did not do the vast majority of my work on email.”

Clinton has said in the past that she used both a Blackberry and an Ipad to conduct email.

In describing how she worked, Clinton stated: “Most of my work was not done on emails with my closest aides, with officials in the State Department, officials in the rest of the government as well as the White House and people around the world.”

Hillary to Family on Night of Benghazi: 'Al Qaeda-Like Group' Attacked

At today's House Benghazi committee hearing, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) highlighted an email from Hillary Clinton to her family on the night of the Benghazi attack.

In the email, Clinton wrote that an "al Qaeda-like group" had attacked and that "two officers" were dead.

Jordan said, however, that the American people were told an "entirely different story" about a protest related to an anti-Islam video.

Jordan said another email shows that on the day after, Clinton told the Egyptian prime minister that "we know the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack, not a protest."

Clinton responded to Jordan by saying that "there was a lot of conflicting information that we were trying to make sense of" at the time.

She said that the intelligence community was still trying to determine what happened.

Fox News national security analyst K.T. McFarland reacted on "Happening Now," saying that Clinton and the Obama administration lied in an attempt to protect the 2012 campaign narrative that al Qaeda was "on the run."

McFarland said it's still not clear what Stevens and the CIA were doing in Benghazi.

"Were we arming Syrian rebels? That was one rumor. Were we taking the Qaddafi weapons and giving them out to Libyan rebel groups that we liked? Were those the same Libyan militias that went after our own people? The bottom line for me is, did the weapons that we secured end up in the hands of people who then used them against us?" she explained.

McFarland said it would have been illegal to arm the Syrian rebels from Libya.

"That's gun-running. That's Iran-Contra. That's something we should not have been doing and they'd have every reason to cover it up."

Hillary Clinton Admits She Broke U.S. Law in Benghazi

Hillary Clinton admitted to the House Select Committee on Benghazi on Wednesday evening that she broke the law in handling security for the U.S. consulate there.

Under patient but persistent questioning from Rep. Susan Brooks (R-IN), Clinton admitted that she had not signed a waiver for security arrangements on the site, as required by the Secure Embassy Construction and Counterterrorism Act of 1999 (SECCA), 22 USC § 4865 2(B)(ii).

Clinton admitted failing to comply with the law in the following exchange:

Brooks: But I have to ask you, if you’re familiar with the facts that in the wake of the 1998 bombing attacks in Nairobi and Dar-es-Salaam, Congress passed something referred to as the SECCA, the Secure Embassy Construction and Counterterrorism Act, which requires the Secretary of State to issue a waiver under two conditions: if the U.S. government personnel work in separate facilities, or if U.S. oversees facilities do not meet the security setback distances specified by the Bureau of Diplomatic Security. The law specifies that only the Secretary of State may sign these waivers, and that requirement is not to be delegated. Was a waiver issued for the temporary mission in Benghazi and the CIA annex, after the temporary mission compound was authorized through december of 2012? And did you sign that waiver, Madam Secretary?

Clinton: I think that the, the CIA annex I had no responsibility for. So I cannot speak to what the decisions were with respect to the CIA annex. That is something i know other committees have–

Brooks: But you acknowledge you were responsible for the temporary mission compound.

Clinton: Yes, of course. But you put them together. I just wanted to clarify that I had no responsibility for the CIA annex, obviously. The compound in Benghazi was neither an embassy nor a consulate. Those are the only two facilities for which we would obtain a formal diplomatic notification. And those were the only kinds of facilities that we would have sought waivers for at the time, because we were trying to–as has been testified to earlier–understand whether we were going to have a permanent mission or not. That means you have to survey available facilities, try to find a secure facility. and the standards that are set by the interagency Overseas Security Policy Board are the goals we try to drive for. But it is, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to do that in the immediate aftermath of a conflict situation. The temporary mission in Benghazi was set up to try to find out what was going on in the area, to work with the CIA where appropriate, and to make a decision as to whether there would be a permanent facility. So we could not have met the goals under the Overseas Security Policy Board. Nor could we have issued a waiver because we had to set up operations in order to make the assessments as to whether or not we would have a permanent mission, whether that mission would remain open. We made extensive and comprehensive improvements to the physical security, which I mentioned before.

Brooks: Madam Secretary, thank you. So it is obvious that a waiver was not signed, and you’ve given a defense as to why a waiver was not signed, and it was temporary because it was made up. It was something different. The compound had never become official. And so, therefore, you did not sign a waiver. Which, when most of our people are stationed in such dangerous places–let me get into that, with respect to the dangerous places–we know that Libya , you’ve testified before, was incapable of providing host nation support. And that involves protecting our diplomats and other U.S. government officials who travel there. So if the Libyan people didn’t have a government capable of providing security, and we didn’t have U.S. military in Libya, then we have two options: we either leave when it gets too dangerous, or the State Department makes sure that they provide that protection.

The relevant section of the law is below. Note that there is no exemption for “temporary” facilities, as Clinton incorrectly suggests.

(2) Site selection
(A) In general
In selecting a site for any new United States diplomatic facility abroad, the Secretary shall ensure that all United States Government personnel at the post (except those under the command of an area military commander) will be located on the site.
(B) Waiver authority
(i) In general Subject to clause (ii), the Secretary of State may waive subparagraph (A) if the Secretary, together with the head of each agency employing personnel that would not be located at the site, determine that security considerations permit and it is in the national interest of the United States.
(ii) Chancery or consulate building
(I) Authority not delegable The Secretary may not delegate the waiver authority under clause (i) with respect to a chancery or consulate building.

Hillary Clinton’s Own Words Day After Attack Finally Exposes What She Really Thought About Benghazi

Hillary Clinton referred to the attack in Benghazi as a “planned attack” the day after it occurred, according to the October report released by Democrats on the House Select Committee on Benghazi.

The Democratic Staff Report explains that Clinton spoke to Egyptian Prime Minister Hesham Kandil on September 12, 2012, adding:

“The notes from that call indicate that the Secretary relayed information consistent with reporting at the time: ‘We know that the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack—not a protest.'

”

Citing the notes from Clinton’s call with Kandil at the time, the report includes this quote:

“’Your [sic] not kidding. Based on the information we saw today we believe the group that claimed responsibility for this was affiliated with al Qaeda.’”

A January 2014 report by the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence also stated that terrorists participated in the attack, but that it “was not a highly coordinated plot.”

This month’s Democratic Report cites April 2014 testimony from former Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency Michael Morell. In Morell’s testimony, he wrote that analysts assembled the “first thorough, fully coordinated, assessment of what happened in Benghazi” on September 12 and sent it “to senior level policymakers and to the Congressional intelligence committees” the next day.

This assessment included four points when it was sent out on September 13:

1. The attacks in Benghazi were spontaneous.
2. They occurred following protests at the American embassy in Cairo, Egypt.
3. Al Qaeda linked extremists participated.
4. The attacks “did not involve significant pre-planning.”

In his description of the second point, Morell added that the initial analysis contained “no mention of the video defaming the Prophet Muhammad as a motivation for the attacks in Benghazi,” and that “there was no mention of the video at all.”

The CIA analysts wrote another assessment along with the National Counterterrorism Center, which was published on September 22. Morell said this new report found that the attack was:

“…a deliberate assault by extremists influenced by events in Cairo, not that they grew spontaneously out of local protests…”

But Morell insisted that most of the initial analysis from September 13 “held up,” adding:

“To this day, the analysts still believe that extremists with ties to al-Qa’ida participated in the attacks – that these were terrorist attacks — that the attacks were conducted with little preplanning, and that they were motivated by the success of attackers in Cairo and/or by Zawahiri’s call for revenge of the death of Abu Yayha al-Libi.”

Morell is referencing al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri’s call to avenge the death of a Libyan national.

The Committee’s report this month suggests that Clinton believed the attack was pre-planned the day prior to the intelligence report stating it was spontaneous.

Just as a reminder, Hillary Clinton said the following at the funeral for those slain at Benghazi:

“This has been a difficult week for the State Department and for our country. We’ve seen the heavy assault on our post in Benghazi that took the lives of those brave men. We’ve seen rage and violence directed at American embassies over an awful Internet video that we had nothing do to with.”

That was September 14th, 2012 – three days after the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya.

A top general was fired for disobeying that order. Guns were run from Libya to Syria in a deal related to Benghazi and the Turkish President. The administration lied through their teeth about the reason why Benghazi happened. 4 Americans were murdered and they were left behind by the Obama administration and by Hillary Clinton. The brief chapter in American history will be filed away with so many other of our secrets and lies. The Democrats are liars, they are destroying America, they are anti-American. Case closed.
