On CNN, Spike Lee Blasts 'Tyranny' of the NRA, Gun Manufacturers
    By Matthew Balan | December 2, 2015

Liberal movie director Spike Lee slammed the National Rifle Association on Monday's CNN Tonight, as he promoted his new movie, Chi-raq. Host Don Lemon pointed out to Lee, "You take on the NRA in the film."

Lee replied, "Well, we have to. I think that we're at the tyranny on (sic) the NRA and the gun manufacturers, because there's a profit...in what they do. And that means that...they're putting profits over a human life."

Lemon then sang the praises of the film: "And you think that can be changed....I'd tell everybody: go see this movie now."

Moments earlier, the filmmaker gave his explanation for the rampant gun violence in inner cities: "We have to give our young people a reason to keep living. I talk to these guys. They're okay if they don't live past 18....And we fail our youth, I feel, if they don't feel, like, life isn't worth living. And if they don't feel like life is worth living...then they'll go out and shoot people left and right — and that's what's happening."

Earlier in the day, on NBC's Today, Lee asserted that "it's easier for an African-American, a black person, to be President of the United States than to be president of a Hollywood studio or TV network cable." The transcript of the relevant portion of the Spike Lee segment from the December 1, 2015 edition of CNN Tonight:

DON LEMON: Did you — when you were in Chicago, did you ever feel that you weren't safe?

SPIKE LEE, FILMMAKER, "CHI-RAQ": No, because we had NYP (sic) —I'm telling you, when we were filming there (laughs), we were the
safest spot on the South Side, because we had police around us.

LEMON: I went there a couple years ago, and interviewed gang-bangers and drug dealers; and, of course, I didn't show their faces—

    LEE: Right—

LEMON: Whatever, in the middle of the night — and there was a point where we had to get out of there. But we had former drug members who had now become community activists—

    LEE: Right — like 'Peacekeepers'—

LEMON: Who were watching us. They were — who were watching us. It's tough. It's real. People are — listen, it's awful what happens, but they will tell you, I'm just trying to make a living.

LEE: Well, here's the thing — and I — we have to give our young people — not just black; you know, not just African-American — we have to give our young people a reason to keep living. I talk to these guys. They're okay if they don't live past 18. I mean, a human life is the most precious thing you can have. And we fail our youth, I feel, if they don't feel, like, life isn't worth living. And if they don't feel like life is worth living — if they don't feel like life is worth living, then they'll go out and shoot people left and right — and that's what's happening.

LEMON: So then, what do you do? When I was talking — when I said to you, I don't hear people talking to the community, how do you change that?

LEE: Well, you need Father [Michael] Phleger (laughs)—

LEMON: Yeah — right— LEE: To answer that one. But something has to be done. And many times, I've been asked — and I'm doing publicity for a film — so Spike, what do you want people to come out of theater thinking about? Usually I say, oh, they are smart. They can figure it out. I'm not going to — for this one, when you come out of this theater —hopefully, you will, opening December 4 — we got to start things seriously about guns in this country — gun violence. That — that's— [

LEMON: You take on the NRA in the film.

LEE: Well, we have to. I think that we're at the — the tyranny on (sic) the NRA and the gun manufacturers, because there's — there's a profit, you know, in — in what they do. And that means that they're putting life — you know, they're putting profits over a human life. That's my opinion.

LEMON: And you think that can be changed. Again, if people don't go see this movie now, I mean, come on — really — I think—

LEE: No. Look, I'm not — they're going to see it, but I don't want them to wait until Amazon Prime. (Lee and Lemon laugh) See it in a movie theater!

LEMON: I'd tell everybody: go see this movie now—

    LEE: Thank you—

    LEMON: Go see this movie.

Spike, the NRA doesn't make a dime on the sale of a firearm, unless it's one of their commemorative ones. You really need to stop taking your talking points from Buh-rock and Bloomberg.

Your guy, Buh-rock Insane Ø, is the world's best gun salesman, he has been since the day he conned people into voting for him.

More than 185,000 background checks for firearms purchases were conducted by NICS on Black Friday. The one day record for firearm purchases, in the history of the NICS system.

Keep running your pie hole about guns and gun control, and you and Buh-rock might be able to set another record before Christmas. Oh, and give up your own security first, mmmm-kay?

    ........

What shakes me is he blames guns for this mayhem in the inner cities. I may be clueless about most of it, but aren't drugs the REAL reason these kids are carrying guns and shooting up the place??

Mass Shootings Have Skyrocketed 700% Under Obama – Why?

    Thursday, December 3, 2015 9:54

Is Obama really shedding tears for all these mass shootings? I doubt he’s shed a single tear. What do we know about mass shootings, and the media in general? Here is what we KNOW: We know The Mainstream Media Is in the Business of Polarizing the Masses, we know there have been multiple Examples of the Mainstream Media Manipulating “News” to Serve an Agenda, and we know The Elites Use Mass Media To Manipulate the Consensus Reality Of Society. Take last night for example: In last night’s terror, the media rushed to conclusions concerning the identities of the San Bernardino shooters continued Wednesday night as CNN law enforcement analyst Harry Houck (no relation to this writer) speculated during Erin Burnett OutFront that the perpetrators “could be some right-wing group, for all I know” despite the fact that little is known about them. Houck’s prediction was set up by host Erin Burnett, who asked him about who could be behind this attack considering its “unprecedented nature”:

“We’ve only had two multiple shooter incidents since the year 2000 and none of them have anything been like this, but if it’s not an international incident, what could it be?”

    TWO? TWO?

BELOW I TAKE A LOOK AT THE 700% INCREASE IN MASS SHOOTINGS…

There have been 334 days and 351 mass shootings so far this year
By Christopher Ingraham November 30 

This story has been updated in light of the San Bernardino shootings.

The nation was once again gripped by gun violence on Friday after a gunman identified by authorities as Robert Lewis Dear Jr. stormed a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs, killing two civilians and one police officer and injuring nine others.

It is just the latest in a year of more-than-daily mass shootings in America. In fact, there had already been one mass shooting on Friday — in the early morning hours, two people were killed and two injured in a shooting at a restaurant in Sacramento. Another mass shooting incident in Boston in the early hours of Thanksgiving Day took the life of a Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority rail conductor.

There have been at least 351 mass shootings so far this year, according to news reports collected by a reddit community that tracks these incidents. The reddit tracker defines mass shootings as incidents in which four or more people, including the gunman, are killed or injured by gunfire. The Mass Shooting Tracker is different from other shooting databases in that it uses a broader definition of mass shooting — the old FBI definition focused on four or more people killed as part of a single shooting.

There were at least 12 mass shootings in the U.S. last week so far, counting the Colorado Springs shooting. That shooting would also be the second mass shooting in Colorado Springs this month.

The number of mass shootings so far this year has already surpassed the total number of mass shootings in 2014, according to the tracker. And the pace is well above 2013's pace, when a total of 363 mass shootings occurred.

NRA Condemns Virginia Attorney General’s Decision to Play Politics With Self-Defense Rights

    Tuesday, December 22, 2015

Fairfax, VA – Today, Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring joined the list of politicians pandering to the anti-gun agenda of Michael Bloomberg and Hillary Clinton by arbitrarily severing concealed carry reciprocity agreements with half of the United States.

"Plain and simple, Mark Herring is putting politics above public safety,” said Chris Cox, executive director of NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action. “This decision is both dangerous and shameful. The Attorney General knows that permit holders are among the safest groups of citizens in the Commonwealth and the country. At a time when people are scared and desperately need the ability to defend themselves, Herring has chosen the path of making self-defense harder."

"Those affected by this reckless political decision are law-abiding citizens - not dangerous criminals. Attorney General Herring is putting lives at risk by removing the constitutional right of law-abiding citizens to defend themselves in the Commonwealth,” continued Cox. "The National Rifle Association will fight this decision in every arena possible. Further, this reaffirms our commitment to enact national right to carry reciprocity legislation in Congress.”

Speaker William J. Howell was joined by leadership from the Virginia House of Delegates to admonish the Attorney General’s decision.

As of February 1, 2016, concealed carry permits from the following states will no longer be recognized in Virginia; Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Before any American citizen blindly accepts whatever new firearms legislation that is about to be doled out, they should stop and think about something for just one minute-

Evil does exist in our world. It always has and always will. Throughout history evil people have committed evil acts. In the Bible one of the first stories is that of Cain killing Abel. We can not legislate “evil” into extinction. Good people will abide by the law, and the criminal element will always find a way around it.

A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY TO THINK ABOUT.......December 29, 2015 marks the 125th Anniversary of the murder of 297 Sioux Indians at Wounded Knee Creek on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. These 297 people, in their winter camp, were murdered by federal agents and members of the 7th Cavalry who had come to confiscate their firearms “for their own safety and protection”. The slaughter began after the majority of the Sioux had peacefully turned in their firearms. The Calvary began shooting, and managed to wipe out the entire camp. 200 of the 297 victims were women and children. About 40 members of the 7th Cavalry were killed, but over half of them were victims of fratricide from the Hotchkiss guns of their overzealous comrades-in-arms.

TWENTY members of the 7th Cavalry's death squad, were deemed “National Heroes” and were awarded the Medal of Honor for their acts of [cowardice] 'heroism'.

We hear very little of Wounded Knee today. It is usually not mentioned in our history classes or books. What little that does exist about Wounded Knee is normally a sanitized “Official Government Explanation”. And there are several historically inaccurate depictions of the events leading up to the massacre, which appear in movie scripts and are not the least bit representative of the actual events that took place that day.

Wounded Knee was among the first federally backed gun confiscation attempts in United States history. It ended in the senseless murder of 297 people.

Before you jump on the emotionally charged bandwagon for gun-control, take a moment to reflect on the real purpose of the Second Amendment, the right of the people to take up arms in defense of themselves, their families, and property in the face of invading armies or an oppressive government. The argument that the Second Amendment only applies to hunting and target shooting is asinine. When the United States Constitution was drafted, “hunting” was an everyday chore carried out by men and women to put meat on the table each night, and “target shooting” was an unheard of concept. Musket balls were a precious commodity and were certainly not wasted on “target shooting”. The Second Amendment was written by people who fled oppressive and tyrannical regimes in Europe, and it refers to the right of American citizens to be armed for defensive purposes, should such tyranny arise in the United States.

As time goes forward, the average citizen in the United States continually loses little chunks of personal freedom or “liberty”. Far too many times, unjust gun control bills were passed and signed into law under the guise of “for your safety” or “for protection”. The Patriot Act signed into law by G.W. Bush, was expanded and continues under Barack Obama. It is just one of many examples of American citizens being stripped of their rights and privacy for “safety”. Now, the Right to Keep and Bear Arms is on the table, and will, most likely be attacked to facilitate the path for the removal of our firearms, all in the name of “our safety”.

Evil exists all around us, but looking back at the historical record of the past 200 years, across the globe, where is “evil” and “malevolence” most often found? In the hands of those with the power, the governments. That greatest human tragedies on record and the largest loss of innocent human life can be attributed to governments. Who do the governments always target? “Scapegoats” and “enemies” within their own borders…but only after they have been disarmed to the point where they are no longer a threat. Ask any Native American, and they will tell you it was inferior technology and lack of arms that contributed to their demise. Ask any Armenian why it was so easy for the Turks to exterminate millions of them, and they will answer “We were disarmed before it happened”. Ask any Jew what Hitler’s first step prior to the mass murders of the Holocaust was- confiscation of firearms from the people.

Wounded Knee is the prime example of why the Second Amendment exists, and why we should vehemently resist any attempts to infringe on our Rights to Bear Arms. Without the Second Amendment we will be totally stripped of any ability to defend ourselves and our families.

    Poll Results Today
92% Yes! The Second Amendment guarantees it. 349k votes
4% Only for self defense. 14k votes
    4% No, it's too dangerous. 16k votes

MSNBC Shocked: Nearly 90% of Americans Support Constitutional Carry

For those who wonder why MSNBC has lost nearly half of its viewers, this might serve as yet another example. A poll, hosted on MSNBC.com, asked a simple question:

Do you think people should be allowed to carry guns in public?
People were given three options for answering and, with 90,000+ votes cast, here are the current numbers (as of July 6, 2014):
◾88% – Yes! The Second Amendment guarantees it. (79,000+ votes)
    ◾8% – No, it's too dangerous. (7.266 votes)
◾4% – Only for self defense. (3,636 votes)

This result does not fit in with the network's leftist narrative or agenda. To listen to MSNBC you would think that 90% of Americans are begging to turn in their guns so that they can receive the proper state protection.

I would not look for these poll results to be featured on any network shows in the near future. Remember, this is the same network that defended Rhode Island State Senator Josh Miller after he told a gun rights activist to, "Go F*ck Yourself."

The truth is that American people are listening to the reports of violence and they are taking notes. But they simply do not agree with the proposed solutions given by the government or main stream media. They do not trust either source and it is beginning to show in both polls and media ratings.

The solution is to arm and protect yourself. People are not quite as stupid as MSNBC, et al, tend to assume. When we see stories of mass shootings and violence our first instinct is not to turn in all of our guns.

This is America and we believe in the right to protect ourselves.

We all know that bad guys are going to find guns, swords, bombs or whatever it takes to kill innocent people. No policy of gun confiscation will change that. We certainly can't trust the police to defend us. In a hostile situation, there is no time to call 911. And let's not forget that, in some cases, the cops are the bad guys.

The truth is, contrary to reports from Bloomberg and Obama, even the left is very much in support of the Second Amendment. It's only the very vocal extremist left that says otherwise.

They pretend to speak for all of America when they do not even represent the majority will of their own party.

Somehow the argument of, "There are bad guys everywhere. You must turn in your guns so we can protect you…" doesn't yet wash with Americans. The brainwash is seemingly incomplete.

People are beginning to make the connection and see the media for what it is. Every media outlet has an agenda. Some just refuse to admit it.

I'd be very surprised if MSNBC doesn't rip down this poll at some point.

For now, however, this is the most truth to come from MSNBC in a long time.

Maniac tries to shoot up church… Congregation stops him with THIS

Written by Derrick Wilburn on October 6, 2015

President Obama has continually lamented how many times during the past seven years he’s had to respond to a mass shooting tragedy in this nation. As he remarked after the Colorado Springs shooting at a Planned Parenthood during the Thanksgiving holiday:

“We can’t let it become normal,” Mr. Obama said in a statement. “If we truly care about this — if we’re going to offer up our thoughts and prayers again, for God knows how many times, with a truly clean conscience — then we have to do something about the easy accessibility of weapons of war on our streets to people who have no business wielding them. Period. Enough is enough.”

Of course, the president is right in that we can’t let this become “normal.”

But there’s a stunning gap in presidential time-and-again remarks, a flaw in liberal logic so screechingly loud that any and all can see it — but that liberals refuse to acknowledge. Liberals like Obama continually call for an imposition of more “gun-free zones” despite the facts that a) no such thing exists, and b) about the only places we see these mass shootings happening is in these very “zones.”

Of the recent shootings that have captivated headlines, many have occurred in posted “gun-free zones”: the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California; Planned Parenthood in Colorado Springs, Colorado; Columbine High School in Littleton Colorado; Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg Virginia; Fort Hood, Texas and Chattanooga, Tennessee, like all U.S. military bases; Century 16 Cinema in Aurora, Colorado; and Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, Connecticut. On and on it goes.

BUT. There’s one would-be mass shooting and mass shooter you never hear mentioned. That’s because it never happened.

With over 10,000 congregants, New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado is a “mega church.” Its main sanctuary seats over 5,000 and is packed for most services. Add to that another huge youth sanctuary; chapels for children from infants through junior high; staff; and people hanging around the café, etc. — and you have a very target-dense building.

On December 9, 2007, at approximately 1:00pm, Matthew James Murray walked into New Life with enough armaments and ammunition to kill dozens, if not hundreds, if he were an accurate enough shot. The 11:00am service had just let out. People were everywhere. Murray shot and killed two in the parking lot then entered the building. That’s where his rampage ended. Unfortunately for Matt Murray, New Life Church was not a “gun-free zone.”

Once in the building Murry ran across Jeanne Assam, a woman with a concealed weapons carry permit, trained in the handling and use of firearms — and she was packing heat. Ms. Assam assessed the situation, pulled out her pistol and dropped him.

Matt Murray entered New Life Church that Sunday intent upon killing; however, in the final analysis, only one person was shot and killed inside New Life that day — the shooter himself, Matt Murray.

No one knows how many lives might’ve been lost had New Life Church been a “gun-free zone.” But we do know this, no President went on national TV that night talking about the need for more “gun-free zones” to help curb our “culture of gun violence,” yadda, yadda yadda. Why? Because rather than sit and wait her turn to be executed, Jeanne Assam was able to defend herself and those around her.

Imagine how many would be alive today if we had not more, but fewer, “gun-free zones.”

Which Party Commits More Crime: Democrats or Republicans?

When Sen. Ted Cruz declared that the majority of criminals are Democrats, it was a masterful stroke.

The media is going crazy over the declaration, claiming it’s outrageous.

On Hugh Hewitt’s radio show Monday, Cruz said that the Planned Parenthood shooting has really displayed the ugly underbelly of the media.

You know, every time you have some sort of violent crime or mass killing, you can almost see the media salivating, hoping, hoping, desperately that the murderer happens to be a Republican so they can use it to try to paint their political enemies.

“Now listen, here’s the simple and undeniable fact. The overwhelming majority of violent criminals are Democrats,” insisted Cruz.

“The media doesn’t report that. What they report, and there’s a reason why the Democrats for years have been viewed as soft on crime because they go in and they appoint to the bench judges who release violent criminals, they go in and they do what Barack Obama tried to do, which is appoint a lawyer who voluntarily represented for free, a cop killer to a senior Justice Department position.”

Cruz explained that Democrats “fight to give the right to vote to convicted felons, why, because the Democrats know that convicted felons tend to vote Democrat.”

Several media have contacted the Cruz campaign, demanding that the Senator provide statistics to back up his claim. But here’s the awesome thing: he doesn’t need to do that.

The media’s got to do that. And they won’t. Because while I’m sure Cruz doesn’t have anything at all to prove his point, he’s probably right.

And that’s the genius of it. Even if they could do all the legwork – cross checking criminal records to voter registrations – which they wont, they’d probably end up proving Cruz true.

And there’s no way the mainstream media is going to let that happen.

Think of it this way: Democrats have already endorsed “Black Lives Matter” and all the violent, racially-motivated, criminal nonsense that goes with it. How much of a leap is it to conclude Democrats are also the party of choice for criminals?

    Genius move, Sen. Cruz.

Tamir Rice, the 12-year-old boy shot and killed by a Cleveland police officer in November, was responsible for his own death, the city of Cleveland alleges in a response to a 27-count lawsuit filed by Tamir’s family. The city argued Friday in its response to the suit Tamir’s death was caused by his own failure to properly exercise caution.

Rice had been seen earlier in the day with a toy gun and officers said he was brandishing it when he was killed. The officers instructed him three times to put the weapon down. The police department later amended its statement to say Rice had been reaching for the gun, which was in his waistband, when he was shot by Cleveland Police Officer Timothy Loehmann. Loehmann and his partner Frank Garmback were also named in the suit. http://www.ibtimes.com/clevelands-re...onwide-1773034

“Plaintiffs’ decedent’s injuries, losses, and damages complained of, were directly and proximately caused by the failure of plaintiffs’ decedent to exercise due care to avoid injury,” the city’s response to the lawsuit said. http://www.buzzfeed.com/stephaniemcn...uit#.xi2lPyz9p “Plaintiffs’ injuries, losses, and damages complained of, were directly and proximately caused by their own acts, not this defendant.”

Officials also said they could not fully respond to most of the allegations listed in the lawsuit, that include negligence, civil rights violations and battery against Tamir and his sister Tajai, 14, because of an ongoing investigation into the incident by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office.

Video from the scene shows the police cruiser pull up about 10 feet from a gazebo where Tamir was sitting and 1.5 seconds to 2 seconds after Loehmann opens his car door, he shoots Tamir in the stomach. http://www.buzzfeed.com/stephaniemcn...ter#.clv0Nxmb9 After Tamir was shot, the officers tackled and handcuffed his sister. The officers did not perform first aid and Tamir died some 11 hours later. His death was ruled a homicide. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/clevelan...in-patrol-car/

Rice’s death prompted Cleveland officials to discuss possibly turning over investigations into use-of-force incidents to outside personnel. A spokesman for Cleveland safety director, and former police Chief Michael McGrath told the Northeast Ohio Media Group in January the city has been in talks with officials in the surrounding Cuyahoga County about handling use-of-force investigations.

The city of Cleveland is also facing a lawsuit from the family Tanisha Anderson, which alleges police abuse and misconduct led to her death. http://www.ibtimes.com/cleveland-wom...micide-1772330

Ohio grand jury clears police in fatal shooting of 12-year-old

CLEVELAND, Dec 28 (Reuters) - A grand jury cleared two Cleveland police officers on Monday in the November 2014 fatal shooting of 12-year-old Tamir Rice, who was brandishing a toy gun in a park, and a prosecutor said there were a series of mistakes but no criminal activity.

The decision drew calls on social media for protests around the country and a special prosecutor days after another fatal shooting by Chicago police of two black residents increased pressure on that department and Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

The Ohio grand jury had heard weeks of testimony on the Rice shooting, which occurred within seconds after police reached a park next to a Cleveland recreation center in response to reports of a suspect with a gun. Rice died the next day.

The shooting was one of several that have fueled scrutiny of police use of deadly force, particularly against minorities. The officers are white and Rice was black.

Rice was holding a replica handgun when Officer Timothy Loehmann shot him within seconds of reaching the park in a squad car driven by his partner, Frank Garmback.

"Simply put, given this perfect storm of human error, mistakes and miscommunications by all involved that day, the evidence did not indicate criminal conduct by police," Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Tim McGinty told a news conference.

Police radio personnel gave officers a description of the suspect's clothing but did not convey that a 911 caller had said the suspect was probably a juvenile and the gun may not be real. Those errors "were substantial contributing factors to the tragic outcome," McGinty said.

On Monday evening, two dozen protesters escorted by police cars walked 3 miles (5 km) in freezing rain from the recreation center to the station where the officers were assigned chanting, "Indict, convict and send the killer cops to jail, the whole damn system is guilty as hell."

A notice taped to the door said the station was closed. "This is ridiculous," Terri Tolefree said of the grand jury decision. "This country is so backward."

Rice's family has filed a civil lawsuit over his death. It also demanded the officers be charged, a special prosecutor handle the case and the U.S. Justice Department investigate. "Tamir's family is saddened and disappointed by this outcome - but not surprised," family attorneys said in a statement.

The Justice Department and FBI have been monitoring the investigation and will continue an independent review of Rice's death, a spokesman said.

In a statement to the grand jury, Loehmann said he yelled for Rice to show his hands and saw him pull a gun from his waistband before the officer fired. Loehmann and Garmback also said they were concerned the armed suspect might enter the recreation center.

The officers have been on restricted duty since the shooting and will remain so through an administrative review, police said.

Rice either intended to hand over the gun or show the officers it was not real, McGinty said, "but there was no way for the officers to know that."

The Airsoft replica of a .45-caliber semiautomatic handgun usually has an orange tip on it, but Rice's gun did not. Prosecutors showed a standard handgun side-by-side with a replica at the news conference.

McGinty also called on makers of replica guns to do more to make them easier to distinguish from actual firearms.

Not all accidents and tragedies are the results of racism.

    ..

Finally, this good cop was cleared......for the rest of you that don't know the details.....in essence, the cop was given information about a possible man with a gun....and THIS CHILD was 5'9" and about 175lbs.....so to any cop this appears to be a man...now add into the mix a pellet or BB gun that looked exactly like a real gun.....the cop had less than a second to make a decision.....

    ..

In all honesty a child's life was taken. We played with BB Guns when I was a kid. We were taught NOT to point them at people. In today's world parents have to be more careful on selecting even toy guns for kids to play. IMHO no guns for playing, not even the toy ones. I am sad for the parents and their nightmares of grief and loss. This case was plain sad. He was just a baby. I pray no one will riot, and live honorably among one another to show the world that unity can be honored for those that have passed. No racial divide.

    ...

Saw the video. Why didnt they pull up on street get out behind the car and say drop your weapon instead of driving on grass sliding to stop and shooting in under a second a child with a toy. Typical cover up. Cant believe their training to taught this procedure.

    ..

Maybe because they had reports of an armed suspect, and when they arrived they saw him walking towards a community center full of unarmed people.

    ..

You only saw the camera's limited view of events. The police were calling out instructions well before you saw the vehicle pull up into view, and Tamir Rice, for whatever reason, willfully defied the orders, which was on the video. All he had to do was do what they say, but I can tell you, that many people out there are being cultured into being told to not listen to the cops, especially if you are a gang member.

    ..

Blame the police officer or every thug who has ever raised a gun at a police officer.

    ..

Would all or any of you who are outraged at the grand jury decission be as outraged if it had been a real gun, and the officer hesitated and was killed, the then the suspect walked into the community center and killed a few more people?

    ..

The officers were responding to a report of an armed individual outside a community center. How much time do you imagine they had to weigh the possible scenarios, many of which would include them selves and others being killed by the armed suspect.

Most people, myself included, if told of a person waving a gun around would run in the other direction or find a good place to hide. These guys have a responsibility to confront them and protect the public. Based on what I have seen in this incedent, I can not fault them for the actions they took.

It is a tragedy, and I extend my deepest sympathy to the parents of this kid, but these cops did nothing criminal or contrary to theie sworn duty to protect the public.
