Only 51.56% of L.A. County voters cast their votes in 2012, compared to 65.6% in 2008, and 67.9% in 2004. Barack Obama received 700,000 fewer votes in 2012 than 2008, and got 300,000 fewer votes in the county than John Kerry did in 2004. Demographic changes overall have benefited Democrats, who are now more than 50% of county voter registration. Millennials ages 18-29 registered to vote in record numbers in L.A. County this year, largely due to new online voter registration.

But vote comparisons over the past three elections don’t seem to show that these new registered voters turned out to vote. For the record, Mitt Romney cratered in L.A. County also, with 350,000 fewer votes than McCain earned in 2008, and 413,000 fewer than Bush in 2004.

Vote fraud alert: One out of five registered Ohio voters is bogus
    http://www.humanevents.com/2012/09/1...ters-is-bogus/

Vote fraud is no big deal, right? It hardly ever happens. It’s so rare that it’s not even worth discussing. Anyone who claims to take the integrity of our ballots seriously is cynically exploiting phantom fears for the purpose of suppressing the Democrat-loving minority vote.

To keep that silly narrative alive, it’s important not to read the Sunday edition of the Columbus Dispatch, in which readers were informed that “more than one out of every five registered Ohio voters is probably ineligible to vote.”

Furthermore, “in two counties, the number of registered voters actually exceeds the voting age population: Northwestern Ohio’s Wood County shows 109 registered voters for every 100 eligible, while in Lawrence County along the Ohio River it’s a mere 104 registered per 100 eligible.”

31 more counties report over 90 percent voter registration, which is a good 20 percent higher than the national average. The Buckeye State sure is civic-minded! Well, except that 1.6 million of the 7.8 million registered voters in the state haven’t voted in at least four years. So I guess they were civic minded, once upon a time. Never fear – I’m sure plenty of those “inactive” voters will reactivate themselves just in time for Barack Obama’s re-election.

You might think these astonishing statistics indicate a crisis-level voter registration problem requiring immediate attention, particularly since this is 2012, not 1912, and modern technology gives us extremely potent tools for accurately managing massive amounts of data. But Attorney General Eric Holder disagrees. Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted sent Holder a letter back in February, warning that “common sense says that the odds of voter fraud increase the longer these ineligible voters are allowed to populate our rolls… I simply cannot accept that.” Husted said existing federal regulations “limit Ohio’s ability to remove ineligible names, thereby increasing the chance for voter fraud.”

No one from the Justice Department ever responded. Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch, which called Ohio’s voter registration train wreck to Husted’s attention, is now suing him for failing to take action, beyond issuing a “directive” to remove ineligible voters that Judicial Watch describes as “all bark and no bite,” since there is no evidence that anything was actually done.

Judicial Watch has already filed a similar lawsuit against the State of Indiana, and says other states with disturbing levels of ineligible registered voters include Mississippi, Iowa, Missouri, Texas, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Florida, Alabama, California, and Colorado. Florida’s struggle to clean up its rolls, in the face of active hostility from Eric Holder’s Justice Department, has already made headlines.

Nationwide, the Pew Center for the States estimates about 24 million ineligible voter registrations, including “more than 1.8 million dead people listed as voters; about 2.75 million with voter registrations in more than one state; and about 12 million voter records with incorrect addresses, meaning either the voters moved or errors in the information make it unlikely any mailings can reach them.”
Military Vote Missing This Election — Including In Big Swing States
    http://www.usnews.com/news/blogs/was...g-swing-states

Under the Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment Act (or MOVE Act), which was signed into law in 2009, the FVAP is supposed to assist service members with voting on military installations. This includes providing military members with voter information forms when they check in to a duty station, similar to the “motor voter” programs civilians see at DMV offices.

But a U.S. Department of Defense Inspector General report released in August found that FVAP hadn’t set up those voter assistance offices—in part because of funding problems, but also because of resistance from the Department of Defense. After the report came out, Republican Texas Sen. John Cornyn wrote a letter to Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta demanding better voter assistance for the troops.
Cast aside: Thousands of votes from our military troops uncounted or missing
    http://thewildernessofmirrors.wordpr...-here-what-if/

According to the Naval Enlisted Reserve Association, scores of military absentee ballots cast in the 2012 Election will not be counted. U.S. Military personnel and their families are outraged: “Where the hell is this country’s moral compass?!” stated the mother of a 25 year old Marine who served in Afghanistan.

The military mail service is notoriously slow, and lawmakers have said that it could be almost two months after the election before ballots even arrive to be processed.

“We write to express concerns over another serious failure by the Department of Defense to safeguard the voting rights of our overseas military service members, which we believe could result in the imminent disenfranchisement of thousands,” stated a letter sent to Defense Department Secretary Leon Panetta by Sens. John Cornyn, R-Texas, Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H., John McCain, R-Ariz., Rob Portman, R-Ohio, and Marco Rubio, R-Fla..

Add to that the incident on October 19th, just two and a half weeks before the November 6th elections, when a transport plane crashed at Shindad Air Base, destroying almost 5,000 pounds of mail – including absentee ballots being sent to U.S. military serving in Afghanistan. Election officials recommended resending the ballots – just two and a half weeks before the elections (bears repeating).
Thousands of military absentee ballots are being lost
    http://www.ijreview.com/2012/10/1784...re-being-lost/

A curiously large percentage of military absentee ballots are going AWOL, according to the Virginia Watchdog. In fact, ballot requests have seen a 92 percent decline, during one of the most high-profile elections in recent history. Coincidence? The Virginia Watchdog investigates:

A 92 percent drop in absentee-ballot requests by military personnel in Virginia is raising concerns that the Pentagon is failing to carry out a federal voting law.

With only 1,746 military voters in Virginia requesting absentee ballots so far this year — out of 126,251 service members in the state —the Military Voter Protection Project says the system has broken down.

It sounds like there has been a massive mishandling of paperwork for voters in the military. Just the fact that there are 124, 505 fewer absentee ballots requests in the system suggests that something has gone terribly wrong. How does one lose voting paperwork from over 120,000 members of the armed forces? That’s a good question.
Ok, so let’s put aside the question of whether it’s bitter sour grapes to ask whether Obama won through outright voter fraud, and ask the far more important question. What would be the legal course of action that would be taken if such an allegation were to be proven? And how could that course of action be instigated with the Democrat party being so firmly entrenched in the Department of Justice. Is there one single person in America that can honestly say they believe that Erick Holder would ever allow any legal action to be instigated? Or that Harry Reid would every allow the Senate to convene hearings on the matter?

If the Democrats did indeed employ the most wide spread and massive voter fraud in American history, what could, or dare I ask, would the Republican Party do about it?

Oh, dear, you don’t say #2: Food stamps surge, report was delayed

The timing has all the “coincidence” of Petraeus’ resignation.
    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2012-1...elayed-release

While there had been speculation that the BLS may delay the release of its October nonfarm payroll number until after the election, it turned out there was no reason to worry. Perhaps this is because the number, while at stall speed, was not quite as horrible as some had expected (even if the change in average hourly earnings did tumble to new all time lows) and so boosted Obama’s reelection chances. There was, however, another closely tracked number which perhaps is far more indicative of the economic “growth” in the past 4 years, which certainly had a delayed release. The number of course is that showing how many Americans are on foodstamps, and usually is released at the end of the month, or the first day or two of the next month. This time the USDA delayed its release nine days past the semi-official deadline, far past the election, and until Friday night to report August foodstamp data. One glance at the number reveals why: at 47.1 million, this was not only a new all time record, but the monthly increase of 420,947 from July was the biggest monthly increase in one year. One can see why a reported surge in foodstamps ahead of the elections is something the USDA, and the administration may not have been too keen on disclosing.

Uh-Oh: With Reelection Out of the Way, We Are in for a Hard-Line Presidency
Posted on November 12, 2012 by Greg Campbell

Most startling about Barack Obama’s win on Tuesday was the immediate, ominous dropping of the charade he had perfected for election season. Almost immediately, his demeanor changed and the attitude shift has been quite unsettling. His campaign slogan may have been “Forward,” but his post-election motto seems to be, “I am the law!”

On Friday, three days after his reelection, Obama announced that as America voted for him, they also voted for his economic plans. At the White House, Obama stated, http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/o...-election.html

“This was a central question during the election. It was debated over and over again, and on Tuesday night we found out that a majority of Americans agree with my approach.”
“Our job now is to get a majority in Congress to reflect the will of the American people. I’m not wedded to every detail of my plan. I’m open to compromise. I’m open to new ideas. I’m committed to solving our fiscal challenges. But I refuse to accept any approach that isn’t balanced.”
Okay, if he’s going to jam tax hikes down our throats, I would appreciate the courtesy of not pretending like he’s doing it for our benefit. If he’s going to act like a socialist, success-punishing tyrant, he should find the guts to push his agenda without claiming that such actions are the result of a mandate handed to him by the American people.

Furthermore, I cannot stomach having Obama, of all people, posture and lecture anyone on representing the will of the American people. When Americans get to vote on amnesty instead of having it decreed by King Barack I, then maybe I will be more inclined to listen to his viewpoint on representative democracy.

Finally, I sincerely do not believe he knows what “compromise” means. President Obama has been pushing for Republicans to give him what he wants, and then they can negotiate and “compromise” on the tax cuts for the “wealthy.” Obama stated that he did not want “long negotiations or drama,” and that we should, “…extend the middle-class tax cuts right now. Let’s do that right now.”

Sure, that makes sense. Tomorrow, I will go into a Ford dealership, ask for the keys and the title to a Mustang, and then sometime in the future we can negotiate what I will pay for it. Does that sound like a fair negotiation? If you said, “No,” then you must be a hard-lining obstructionist.

The extension for the tax cuts for the so-called “wealthy” are for people making $200,000 a year or for families pulling in $250,000 a year. While that may seem like a lot of money for people like you or me, such a gross income is not out of reach for upper-middle class, including successful private-business owners that have room to expand operations. While it is quite comfortable, let’s not pretend that $250,000 for a family of four will keep that family on Park Avenue. I further reject the notion that if a family has two nickels to rub together, it is the job of the government to swoop in to take “their fair share” and punish success.

I’m not going to lie; we will have some serious work to do for the next four years. We have a radical despot who now has no reelection bid hanging over his head. We need to stay the course and prepare for 2014 when we may be able to take the Senate and increase our foothold in the House.

Gee, why do you think the Obama administration waited until after November 6th to mail these letters?
    By Doug Powers • November 12, 2012 04:50 PM

This story comes to us from the great state of…

The Obama administration managed to lengthen the fuse on the layoff bomb so it didn’t detonate until after the election, and you have to wonder how much coordination went into making sure these notices weren’t mailed out until the voting was over in the Buckeye State: http://www.toledoblade.com/State/
    2012/11/12/Ohioans-food-stamp-aid-to-be-cut.html

Ohio families receiving food stamps could get an unwelcome surprise come January: $50 less every month in assistance.

For the 869,000 households enrolled in the program for the poorest Ohioans, that could amount to about $520 million annually out of the grocery budgets.

Because of the way the federal government calculates utility expenses for people receiving the benefit, a mild winter nationwide last year, and a lower price for natural gas, many families could experience a significant cut in aid, those familiar with the program say.

Recipients should get a letter from the state Department of Job and Family Services this month explaining the change, said Ben Johnson, a spokesman for the agency.
As Glenn Reynolds would put it, http://pjmedia.com/instapundit/ “they told me if I voted for Mitt Romney food stamp benefits would be cut, and they were right.”

Petitions seeking White House approval to ‘secede’ now come from 47 states
    4:06 AM 11/13/2012

Conservatives have voted more than 375,000 times since Election Day to pick up their marbles and go home. That’s how many virtual signatures appeared Monday night, as clocks in Washington, D.C. chimed midnight, on petitions asking President Barack Obama’s administration to allow 47 of the 50 U.S. states to secede from the country.

A petition from an Arlington, Texas man, launched Nov. 9 via the Obama White House website’s “We the People” tool, had more than 58,000 signatures. That’s more than twice the 25,000 it had Monday morning, a number required to trigger an automatic White House review, according to the administration’s own published rules.

similar petition from a Louisiana native crossed the 25,000 threshold as Monday drew to a close on the East Coast.

Launched Nov. 7, the day after Obama won re-election, the Pelican State’s spark set off an Internet-driven cascade of disaffected tea partiers and other conservatives looking — as one petition organizer told The Daily Caller via a “direct message” on Twitter — “just to do something, anything, to show we’re not going away quietly.”

It’s not clear whether, or to what extent, individuals are signing more than one petition. The White House’s online rules do not prohibit Americans from signing a petition that would not affect states where they live.

The complete list of states with open petitions includes Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Nine states’ “We the People” entries include multiple competing petitions, The Daily Caller determined. California, Georgia, Missouri, New York, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Wisconsin are each represented by at least two petitions. TheDC was able to locate three for Pennsylvania.

The only three states that lack secession petitions are Maine, Vermont and Washington.

According to the White House, petitions have 30 days to gather 25,000 signatures before the administration will automatically review them. One at least one occasion, however, President Obama responded to a petition that collected only 12,240 signatures: a request for the White House’s beer recipe.

America’s Future Tomorrow, Today, But With Twinkies!
November 13, 2012 By John Hawkins TPNN Contributor

Get used to stories like this one because you’re going to see a lot of them in the coming years.

Hostess Brands permanently closed three bakeries Monday, including a plant in St. Louis where 365 jobs were cut, in response to a bakers’ union strike that started Friday.

The bankrupt maker of Twinkies and Wonder bread said it’s trying to avert liquidating the entire company, and it shuttered three plants that were no longer able to produce and deliver products because of picket lines. The other plant closures are in Seattle and Cincinnati, where a combined 262 jobs were cut.

“We deeply regret this decision, but we have repeatedly explained that we will close facilities that are no longer able to produce and deliver products because of a work stoppage — and that we will close the entire company if widespread strikes cripple our business,” Hostess CEO Gregory Rayburn said in a statement.

Wholesale baker Hostess Brands, which is based in Irving, Texas, filed for bankruptcy in January and has fought with labor groups over contract changes throughout the year.
Contrary to what you may infer from listening to Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Barack Obama, businesses are not piggy banks that solely exist to keep people employed and pay taxes. They also don’t spring up like mushrooms after a hard rain just because the government builds a few roads and puts some stop signs in place.

To the contrary, businesses exist to make a profit. When that no longer becomes possible because of a changing marketplace or alternately, because of rising labor costs, exorbitant taxes, or new regulations, then the jobs go away, too.

When you disconnect from reality, as the bakers’ union did, and start to assume businesses are there to serve you instead of making a profit, you see what results. When the Democratic Party makes the same mistake and starts disconnecting its policy making from the profits and productivity that allows the government to pay its bills, it means less jobs, less opportunity, and more foolish people protesting themselves right out of a job.

Next Up On Obama’s Agenda: Amnesty For Illegals
Posted on December 10, 2012 by John Hawkins

Can Barack Obama sucker the Republicans into signing their own political death warrant? We’re about to find out. http://www.washingtonpost.com/politi...f7b_story.html

Allies expect Obama to harness the combined political capital of his reelection and the outcome of the tax fight for an aggressive push to legalize millions of illegal immigrants in what could be a signature domestic achievement.
Of course, we’re going hear the false claim that all the GOP has to do to pull in the Hispanic vote is to agree to an amnesty for illegal aliens. Of course, if that were true, since Reagan already agreed to amnesty back in 1986, Hispanic voters WOULD ALREADY be voting Republican.

That’s not happening, is it? Also, raise your hand if you think the Democrats would ever agree to amnesty if they think it is going to help the Republican Party with Hispanics? There are no hands raised out there, are there?

Of course, there shouldn’t be any hands raised because the only thing an amnesty for illegals would do is add millions of new votes for the Democrats. http://www.nationalreview.com/articl...-sullivan?pg=3

Here, their argument is that Latinos, Asians, and other voters will never support Republicans in any number if we make illegal immigrants who share their ethnicity feel unwelcome and even threatened by deportation. That argument is not entirely false. Some ethnic voters, whether U.S.-born or legal immigrants, will be strongly influenced by this, others weakly, but it will be one of several factors pushing such voters as a group towards the Democrats. Other factors will push them towards the GOP; for instance, Republicans generally get between a quarter and a third of Latino votes. Those voters have their reasons too.

Nothing at all will change if the GOP — as some of its “moderates” argue it should — supports an amnesty for illegals, allowing them to stay in the U.S., but denies them citizenship and the vote. Democrats and Latino activists will merely ground their charge that Republicans are anti-immigrant in the citizenship issue rather than the illegality one. Republicans will face exactly the same criticism as now, but against a background of wider publicity, without the solid “rule of law” argument they can cite when they oppose amnesty. Indeed, they would find themselves arguing the unsustainable case that immigration and citizenship should accommodate a permanent class of migrants without political rights. Eventually either the GOP would yield to political clamor and consent to citizenship for the amnestied or the courts would insist on one by degrees. So the end result of amnesty would be citizenship for 12 million poor, mainly Latino, migrant workers with a grudge against the GOP.

Here is a rough, back-of-the-envelope calculation of what that alone might mean. Let’s assume that only two-thirds of former illegals become U.S. citizens — that’s 8 million new Americans with the vote. (Given the Democrats’ determination to protect voter fraud, that might also mean somewhat more than 8 million new voters, but we won’t consider that in what follows.) Since these voters are poorer and less assimilated than Latinos as a whole, they will likely skew more Democratic than their ethnic fellows. Republicans would be optimistic if they counted on winning more than one-fifth of them — i.e., 1.6 million voters. On a 100 percent turnout, that would give the Democrats a net advantage of 4.4 million votes. On a more realistic assumption that these new voters would have a lower than average turnout — say, 50 percent — that would give the Democrats a net additional 2.2 million votes over Republicans. Those assumptions are fallible, admittedly, but they are not unrealistic.

So the bar that any advocate of amnesty has to meet is as follows: He must demonstrate how amnesty will ensure that the GOP also gains at least a net 2.2 million votes, plus one, as a result of the reform.
Incidentally, if Romney had picked up 400,000 more votes in Florida (73,858), Ohio (103,481), Virginia (115,910), and Colorado (113,099), http://www.nationalreview.com/campai...way-presidency he would have won the election. So, we’d be giving up 5 times that many votes over the long haul to get what — a 5%-10% boost with the other Hispanic voters for an election cycle or two while we lose twice as many conservative white voters who’d be so angry that they would stay home?

A Republican vote for that is a vote for political suicide. Nothing more, nothing less and any Republican who votes that way, no matter what his record looks like in other areas, deserves to be primaried and defeated.

This question has come back to me many times over the past several months.... Where are the Kennedys? (Besides drop kicking nurses in hospitals.) Why weren't they visible during Obama's campaigning? They are usually right there behind every democratic person lending their support. Where are they now? Why weren't they there when the presidential race was so tight? Wouldn't you think they would have rallied in support for Obama? I haven't noticed them, have you?

New low for Obama: Invoking Newtown massacre to bully Republicans into accepting his political agenda
    [Darleen Click]

What words can describe how utterly despicable, duplicitous and cynical King Barry I is when it comes to him wanting his way?

OBAMA: If this past week has done anything it should give us some perspective. I-I-I-If there’s one thing we should have, after this week, it should be a sense of perspective about what’s important. And I would like to think that members of that caucus would say to themselves “You know what, I disagree with the president on some things. We wish the other guy had won. We’re gonna fight him on a whole range of issues over the next four years. We think his philosophy is all screwed up. But right now, what the country needs is for us to compromise, get a deficit reduction deal in place, make sure middle class taxes don’t go up, make sure that we’re laying the foundations for growth, give certainty to businesses large and small, not put ourselves through some sort of self-inflicted crisis every six months, allow ourselves time to focus on things like preventing the tragedy in Newtown from happening again, focus on issues like energy and immigration reform, all the things that will make a determination as to whether our country grows over the next four years, ten years, 20 years, and if we could just pull back from the immediate political battles, if ya peel off the partisan war paint, then we should be able to get something done.”

I think, I think the Speaker would like to get that done. But an environment needs to be created not just among House Republicans but among Senate Republicans that says the campaign is over and let’s see if we can do what’s right for the country, at least for the next month! And then, we can re-engage in all the other battles that they’ll wanna fight.
See, it’s all about Him. Opposition to his agenda is because of Him!! not his agenda. King Barry I declares there is no sincerity, no principle, no rationality in opposing growing the Leviathan Government. Obama demands His FORWARD! in getting America to Euro-Socialist-Democracy standards as soon as possible.

How gleeful to be able to use the corpses of children http://twitchy.com/2012/12/19/sick-s...town-massacre/ as he’s done in the past, to get there? http://www.nationalreview.com/articl...ramesh-ponnuru

When Obama does stuff for “the people”, he’s not talking about the people. Or listening to them.

I truly wish that the media and the political class would stop dancing in the blood of these children.

    May their families know peace.
