Iraq War Veteran, Wounded in the Line of Duty, BLASTS Obama on Twitter
    June 16, 2014 By Jennifer Burke

    J.R. Salzman @jrsalzman

I did not get an arm blown off in Baghdad
so you could sit on your ass
    and watch Iraq fall, @BarackObama.

I did my job. DO YOUR JOB.

    10:06 PM - 12 Jun 2014
J.R. Salzman is a wounded warrior who lost his arm in the line of duty while serving in Iraq. In 2007, he met then candidate Obama who had his picture taken with Salzman and another wounded warrior. At the time, Obama told the Iraq war veteran that he was proud of their sacrifices.

    J.R. Salzman @jrsalzman

Remember when we met in 2007 @BarackObama?
You said you were proud of our sacrifices.

So why did you throw them away?

    10:19 PM - 12 Jun 2014
Now, as the world watches Iraq falls at the hands of a violent terrorist group ISIS, many in the military are angry and frustrated at Obama’s decisions leading up to having the military leave Iraq, his taking credit, but not responsibility for any issues, as well as his response as the violence in the region has increased. After holding a press conference about the terrorist activities in Iraq, Barack Obama jumped on a plane to California for a fun in the sun weekend filled with fundraising speeches and golfing.

This caused Salzman to take to Twitter to voice his very strong opinion of Obama’s ‘leadership’ and seemingly flippant attitude about the military. He did not mince words and he did not hold back. He even had some harsh criticism for the media as well as a response for liberal trolls who attacked him for daring to speak out against their ‘Dear Leader.’

    J.R. Salzman @jrsalzman

You promised to fix the worlds problems,
yet you somehow lost a war
    THAT WAS ALREADY WON.

How is that even possible, @BarackObama?!?

    10:22 PM - 12 Jun 2014
    J.R. Salzman @jrsalzman

Shorter Obama: screw Iraq, screw American lives lost,
screw American dollars spent, screw being President.
    I'm going golfing.

President Obama will announce today that the United States is pulling all its troop from Iraq by the end of the year.

According to a White House official, “this deal was cut by the Bush administration, the agreement was always that at end of the year we would leave, but the Iraqis wanted additional troops to stay. We said here are the conditions, including immunities. But the Iraqis because of a variety of reasons wanted the troops and didn’t want to give immunity.

“So that’s it. Now our troops go to zero,” the official added. “We will have a very robust diplomatic presence. But it will be a normal diplomatic presence like we have in many countries.

“This country also wants to have its independence. They’re producing 2 ½ billion barrels of oil a day. They just paid something like $1.6 billion for something like 20 F-16s. They have a deal now with GE. By the end of next summer they will surpass Iran in oil production. They could surpass Saudi Arabia in a few years. This will impact the whole equilibrium in the Middle East. “We want to have a new relationship with this country.”

At approximately 11:30am today, President Obama convened a secure video conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki to talk with him about this news, a source said.

Watch: U.S. Troop Withdrawal From Iraq
    http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/video/abc-...flash-14044580
Oh, I know. You all hate reading facts, but I have to at least remind one of you out there about the real history of US war on Iraq. This from Larry Elder who is interviewing me this Tuesday.

    By: Larry Elder

    1) In 2011, President Barack Obama pronounced Iraq “self-reliant and democratic,” and “a country in which people from different religious sects and ethnicities can resolve their differences peacefully through the democratic process.” In 2010, Vice President Joe Biden called Iraq “one of the great achievements of this administration.” Obama ignored pleas by top generals who advised against pulling out without leaving a residual force.

    2) Nearly everybody assumed Saddam Hussein possessed stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction. Of the newspaper editorials that opposed the war, not one challenged the assumption that Iraq possessed stockpiles of WMD.

President George W. Bush relied on the same intelligence — and on the same CIA director — as did President Bill Clinton. Kenneth Pollack, Clinton’s Persian Gulf adviser, said not one government intelligence analyst disagreed with the assumption that Iraq possessed stockpiles of WMD.

“The intelligence community,” said Pollack, “convinced me and the rest of the Clinton Administration that Saddam had reconstituted his WMD programs following the withdrawal of the U.N. inspectors in 1998, and was only a matter of years away from having a nuclear weapon. … The U.S. intelligence community’s belief that Saddam was aggressively pursuing weapons of mass destruction predated Bush’s inauguration, and therefore cannot be attributed to political pressure. … Germany … Israel, Russia, Britain, China and even France held positions similar to that of the United States. … In sum, no one doubted that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.”

    3) Saddam Hussein did possess stockpiles of WMD. James Clapper, the current director of National Intelligence, said in 2003 that materials for WMD had “unquestionably” been moved out of Iraq, to Syria or perhaps other countries, in an effort to “destroy and disperse” evidence just before the war began.

One of Saddam’s top generals, Georges Sada, in his book called “Saddam’s Secrets,” said truck convoys and 56 airplane flights moved tons of WMD into Syria.

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, in December, 2002, said, “Chemical and biological weapons which Saddam is endeavoring to conceal have been moved from Iraq to Syria.”

    4) Had we not invaded, Saddam Hussein would have soon restarted his chemical and biological program — and resumed his pursuit for a nuclear capability. After the war started, Bush sent David Kay, a weapons hunter, to locate the assumed stockpiles of WMD. Kay found no stockpiles, but he did find that Saddam had the intent and the ability to restart his WMD program as soon as the heat was off.

    5) George Bush did not “rush” America into the war. He obtained a consensus — a resolution from the House, a resolution from the Senate and a resolution from the United Nations. There was a 15-month run-up before the war, during which time Saddam could have declared what he did or did not do with the WMD.

    6) Americans supported the Iraq War, overwhelmingly at least at first. Gallup found 76 percent of Americans supported the Iraq war when the military action began, about the same percentage that supported the first Persian Gulf War.

    7) Obama wanted out of Iraq, and ran in 2008 with a promise to do just that. A year after the troop pullout, during a 2012 debate, Mitt Romney said he wanted a residual force to remain. Obama pointedly disagreed, saying that leaving “10,000 troops in Iraq … would tie us down.”

Incredibly, Obama now blames the Iraqis for his refusal to leave any troops. Obama says he wanted legal protection for the soldiers left behind and that Iraq’s parliament would not provide it. So Obama happily walked away, blaming it on “a decision made by the Iraqi government” to reject the offer of “a modest residual force.” Obama sure had no difficulty in quickly working out an agreement — via diplomatic notes, without the approval of Iraq’s parliament — for the recently promised 300 “advisers.”

    8) We were greeted as liberators in Iraq. The New York Times Iraq reporter John Burns said: “The American troops were greeted as liberators. We saw it.” In April, 2003, the New York Daily News reported, “Jubilant crowds chanted, ‘Thank you, Bush’ and showered troops with yellow and pink flowers, exactly as administration hawks had promised.”

9). There were legitimate, good-faith reasons why we sent “too few troops.” The Times’ Burns said, “I think that to be fair to the United States, when I speak as a citizen of the United Kingdom, I think that the instincts that led to much that went wrong were good American instincts: the desire not to have too heavy of a footprint, the desire to empower Iraqis.”

    10) The men and women who served in Iraq deserve better. They achieved great things under harsh and unforgiving circumstances. That the succeeding commander-in-chief did not preserve their hard-fought gains ought not devalue what they accomplished. Perhaps the returning soldiers might more readily adjust to civilian life if Americans truly understood and appreciated what they achieved in Iraq. They did their jobs — and their mission was just, important and noble.

And we're supposed to TRUST McCain's JUDGMENT?

Terrorists Post a Selfie with John McCain
    June 20, 2014

On Memorial Day in 2013, John McCain went on a secret trip to Syria to meet with the rebels who were fighting against Bassar Assad. At the time, McCain described his visit as ‘moving.’ During an appearance on CNN, McCain elaborated on his experience.

"It was a very moving experience to meet these fighters who have been struggling now for over two years. And they’re very aware of the battlefield situation and they’re very disturbed about the dramatic influx of Hezbollah fighters, more Iranians, and of course, stepped-up activities of Bashar Assad.”
McCain posed for pictures with these rebels, smiling as the camera snapped. Now, ISIS, Islamic State of Iraq and Syria formerly known as Al Qaeda in Iraq, is using those pictures as a campaign ad.

So, the ISIS terrorists not only have American weaponry that they have seized from the Iraqi army, but they are using our politicians to push their brutality.

Here's how the Islamic State views "coexist."

As of today, Iraqi Christians in the ISIS-held caliphate have the choice of converting to Islam, paying a fine or dying. We're talking about a Christian community that has existed there for some 1700 years. When tolerance becomes a one-way street it leads to cultural suicide. Now it's leading to religious genocide. Remember how liberal progressives abandoned South Vietnam and the ensuing slaughter? History has a way of repeating itself when the same actors take the stage.

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN IRAQ’S HISTORY, MOSUL IS NOW EMPTY OF CHRISTIANS

The Islamic State last week issued an ultimatum to the Christians in the town of Mosul, the second largest city in Iraq, ordering them to convert to Islam, pay a religious tax or face death.

The statement by the leader of the Islamic State, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, warned that the Christians had until Saturday to “leave the borders of the Islamic Caliphate.” He added that, “After this date, there is nothing between us and them but the sword.”

Messages warning Christians about the ultimatum were announced through loudspeakers on the city’s mosques. Church leaders advised the few families who wanted to negotiate with terrorist that they should also flee for their own safety. The exodus went on in Mosul throughout Friday, with all the Christians abandoning the town by the end of the day. “For the first time in the history of Iraq, Mosul is now empty of Christians,” said one man.

"We have lived in this city and we have had a civilization for thousands of years - and suddenly some strangers came and expelled us from our homes," a woman in her 60s told media sources.

“Hundreds were walking on foot,” said a bishop in the neighboring city of Tel Keif. He said many of them were bereft of all money or possessions - and that ISIS had robbed them of all of their belongings before setting off for refugee camps. (Israel National News/Reuters)

Where is the outcry from the Christian world about what's happening to the Christians in Iraq? Where is the UN? Where are the evangelicals? Where are the Jews and the protesters who so quickly come against Israel!

Obama REPEATEDLY Claims Iraq Departure was HIS Decision
August 11, 2014 By Greg Campbell

President Obama has made a career of pouncing on opportunities while skillfully dodging accountability. The economy, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, the IRS scandal- none of if, according to Obama, was his fault. When it came to killing Osama Bin Laden (after we discovered his whereabouts using interrogation techniques abhorred by the left), one would have thought Barack pulled the trigger himself in Pakistan based on how he spiked the football.

When it comes to Iraq, Obama has been a walking contradiction. He promised the left that if elected, he would end the war in Iraq in his first term. He failed. Then, when it came time to remove troops, though common sense demanded otherwise, Obama announced the departure and promptly removed our troops to allow Iraq to be overrun by terrorists. He failed.

Now, with Iraq in shambles and Obama to blame, President Obama has begun to duck and dodge accountability once again and even asserted that it wasn’t “his decision” to remove troops. As a matter of fact, that is precisely what a Commander-in-Chief does.

On Saturday, Obama refused accountability when a reporter asked,
“Mr. President, do you have any second thoughts about pulling all ground troops out of Iraq? And does it give you pause as the U.S.–is it doing the same thing in Afghanistan?”
    Obama cravenly replied, (emphasis added)
What I just find interesting is the degree to which this issue keeps on coming up, as if this was my decision. Under the previous administration, we had turned over the country to a sovereign, democratically elected Iraqi government. In order for us to maintain troops in Iraq, we needed the invitation of the Iraqi government and we needed assurances that our personnel would be immune from prosecution if, for example, they were protecting themselves and ended up getting in a firefight with Iraqis, that they wouldn’t be hauled before an Iraqi judicial system.”
Thanks to a hilarious video compilation courtesy of The Washington Free Beacon, we can now see that not only was it Obama’s decision, but that he wouldn’t shut up about it. Part of being a man is owning up to your failures. It seems that even by this meager test of character, Obama comes up wanting. Not only is Barack Obama a terrible president, he isn’t much of a man, either.

PATHETIC: Obama Lies, Says Leaving Iraq Was “Not My Decision” [VIDEO]
    August 10, 2014

President Barack Obama’s foreign policy has been, to put it mildly, a disaster. The president seems incapably of thinking realistically about international affairs, instead living in a world that he wishes existed.

As a result, Russia under the bully Vladimir Putin has taken advantage of this president’s perceived weakness to annex Crimea and station troops along the Ukrainian border. Two thousand, mostly civilians, have died in Gaza fighting. And the ISIS terrorist group has grown from a small player in Syria’s civil war into a full-blown army holding significant territory.

As the “Islamic State” continues to terrorize women, Christians, Shiite Muslims, and others in Syria and Iraq, it becomes increasingly clear to all Americans that Obama’s 2011 decision to withdraw all American troops from Iraq was an enormous foreign policy error.

All Americans except one, that is. Obama himself refuses to acknowledge that he ever made the decision to pull out of Iraq.

According to National Review Online, Obama claims that “American soldiers had to pull out due to political pressure from Iraqi leaders,” not because of promises he had made during and after his presidential campaign to end the American military presence in the country.

Click here to read the impassioned plea of a young Iraqi Christian for American support against the ISIS terrorists.

This is most certainly at odds with the announcement made by Obama when the withdrawal was made known. “After taking office, I announced a new strategy that would end our combat mission in Iraq and remove all of our troops by the end of 2011,” Obama then said. “So today, I can report that, as promised, the rest of our troops in Iraq will come home by the end of the year.”

That certainly sounds like a president announcing the successful completion of his own plans, as does the president several times in the below video http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/...ot-my-decision

    http://www.mrctv.org/videos/obama-i-...raq-i-ended-it

This is not the first time that President Obama has lied to the American people about Iraq, and it probably won’t be the last. At least Americans can take some comfort in knowing that we are finally doing the right thing and standing up to the Islamic State terrorists on behalf of their innocent victims.

Unfortunately, that also reminds us that America’s leaders were the ones who left those victims to fend for themselves on their own.

    http://conservativetribune.com/obama-lies-leaving-iraq/

This goes back to BO's typical reaction : Claim the Fame; Place the Blame.

The State Dept. is Confronted on Whether U.S. is At War With ISIS
    & Gives Head-Scratching Answer…

By Kevin Boyd 17 hours ago

In today’s press briefing, the State Department’s spokeswoman Jen Psaki was asked whether or not the alleged beheading of Steven Sotloff was an “act of war” by ISIS against the U.S. http://www.ijreview.com/2014/09/173629-steven-sotloff/

Here’s what she said, via The Blaze: http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014...ond-beheading/

“I’m not going to put new labels on it,” Psaki said. “We certainly consider this reported act, [and] the act of the killing of James Foley, as a horrific terrorist act that… has been one of the motivating factors in the effort… to undergo the creation of an international coalition to address this threat.”
Much like the White House spokesman Josh Earnest, Psaki has decided to engage in Washingtonian doublespeak instead of actually giving a straight answer to an important question. http://www.ijreview.com/2014/08/1727...esting-answer/

Psaki’s colleague, Marie Harf, also says that ISIS is not at war with the U.S. On a related note, Psaki says President Obama doesn’t give himself enough credit for his foreign policy “successes.” http://www.ijreview.com/2014/05/1427...enough-credit/

While the Obama administration and the State Department continue to deny the obvious, despite the fact that they have been warned about the rise of ISIS for months, ISIS is making it very clear by its actions that it sees itself at war with the United States. ISIS has announced that it does not intend to stop at just Syria and Iraq. It intends to reclaim all the formerly Islamic lands lost over the past five centuries through conquest.

The Obama administration needs to realize that even though they have not chosen to go to war with ISIS, ISIS has chosen to go to with America. It’s time to develop a strategy to completely defeat this menace to humanity.

The rest of the world is watching to see what America will do. It’s time to step it up, Mr. President, and lead.

ISIS one mile from Baghdad: may Obama be cursed with nightmares of the Americans we lost in Iraq
Written by Allen West on October 1, 2014

Vice President Joe Biden recently proclaimed we would “chase ISIS to the gates of hell” — well, it seems they’re going to be a bit delayed, as they’re at the gates of Baghdad right now. Perhaps those almost 1,500 American troops — boots on the ground — will be allowed to leave from behind the gates of the U.S. Embassy and compound to fight — oops, that would be combat, and Obama said that’s not allowed. So could we be on the verge of seeing a 21st century version of the last U.S. helicopter taking off from the roof of the U.S. Embassy in Saigon as the North Vietnamese Army and the Viet Cong breached those gates?

And you must understand this would be the third U.S. Embassy that would have been evacuated in this year! First Libya, now it seems we’re doing the same in Yemen, and Baghdad could be next. I remember transiting through Baghdad as we moved in to take up our positions at Taji AB, just north of the city.

But it’s not just ISIS at the gates. The al-Qaida in Syria affiliate, Jabhat al-Nusra, is joining forces with ISIS — so much for those Obama air strikes to “degrade” ISIS.

As reported in the UK Independent, “Isis fighters are reportedly just one mile away from Baghdad as reports emerge of al-Qaida militants bolstering their ranks in Syria. According to the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East, Isis was approaching the Iraqi capital on Monday morning. “The Islamic State are now less than 2km away from entering Baghdad,” a spokesperson said. “They said it could never happen and now it almost has. Obama says he overestimated what the Iraqi Army could do. Well you only need to be here a very short while to know they can do very, very little.”

I suppose this is something else that will sneak up on the Obama administration? It’s clearly evident — well, except to the mindless progressive socialists — that Obama’s political agenda and narrative is far more important to him than the security of the American people or the precious blood many of my warrior brothers and sisters shed in Iraq. Just last year at the UN General Assembly, it was B. Hussein Obama who spiked the football in his speech and took a personal victory lap before the world over his acclaimed achievement of ending the war in Iraq and bringing all US troops home — looks like he never consulted with the enemy about their perspective on the matter.

But we can all expect Obama to just blame the U.S. intelligence community — or maybe he’ll blame ISIS for not playing along.

The Independent says “Isis fighters were also battling Government forces in a key town 25 miles west of Baghdad – Amiriyat al-Fallujah. According to a BBC correspondent, fighting had calmed by Monday afternoon but a standoff continued along the main road to nearby Fallujah, which is under Isis control. US air strikes overnight targeted other Isis positions in Anbar province, the Pentagon said, and in Syria four more oil fields controlled by militants near Raqqa were hit on Sunday.”

“American officials called the attacks “successful” but the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights claimed mostly civilians were hit and a grain silo was destroyed.”

Folks, this is what happens when you’re just dropping bombs with no targeting assets on the ground to enable precision. I love the pretty fighter jet tapes that are being released, but all I’ve seen are a truck here and a truck there being brilliantly blown up.

According to the Independent, “The news comes amid reports of an emerging alliance between ISIS forces in Syria and Jabhat al-Nusra, also known as the Nusra Front. The group is the Syrian offshoot of al-Qaida and has been fighting against the Assad regime in the civil war. Despite months of clashes between its forces and Isis (also known as Islamic State) militants, the two groups appear to be forming a loose coalition in parts of the country to fight increasing attacks by the US and its allies.”

“Al-Nusra’s official spokesperson, Abu Firas al-Suri, threatened the coalition nations with retaliation on Saturday. “These states have committed a horrible act that is going to put them on the list of jihadist targets throughout the world,” he said. “This is not a war against al-Nusra, but a war against Islam.”

Ok, so I just have to ask, is this guy al-Suri a high school or college teacher of the “religion of peace?” Now, does anyone believe we should take the enemy at his word and realize that his reality must become our own? So now please remind me, who are these “moderate” Islamists who are going to fight ISIS again?

“Al-Nusra and Isis leaders are now holding war planning meetings together, a source told the Guardian, although no formal alliance has been confirmed. The reports follow growing defections from other Islamist groups to Isis, which is seen as better organised and equipped to create an “Islamic State” straddling Iraq and Syria. A loyalty pledge was reportedly made by al-Nusra in June in the town of Al-Bukamal near the Iraqi border, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, and the two groups have fought together against Government forces.”
