I could be wrong, but I believe I read some time ago, she was in rehab. Not to long after Clueless, cause I was thinking how sweet she was on that movie, and to enter rehad not long afterwards. (i know-her life and acting, not the same, just she looked so sweet).
PROUD mom of Bradyn Marshall 02-15-00 and Haley Ryann 12-3-03

so sad
I think it's disrespectful to make rude comments about someone who just died, regardless of what they did or didn't do in their life.

It is sad and I do think that is rude, how would you feel if someone was saying you looked like crap right after you died, there is always a good possibility since it's on the net that your family could see that and that is definitely not something they should have to at a time like this. My thoughts go to her family I really liked her.

Barrows said cardiac arrest could mean any number of things, and was not an indication of the cause of death.
However, Murphy's suspected excessive use of drugs had been the subject of widespread speculation, and was even the subject of a parody sketch on a recent "Saturday Night Live" Weekend Update.
The Los Angeles City Fire Department said a 911 call was made at 8 a.m. from the Los Angeles home of Murphy's husband, Simon Monjack. She was pronounced dead on arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Born in Atlanta, Murphy started acting in regional theater at age 9; by age 13, she had signed with a manager and began appearing in television commercials. Her first roles were on TV series such as "Murphy Brown" and "Parker Lewis Can't Lose," which led to her breakthrough film, 1995's "Clueless."
She had five movies currently in production, including "Poor Things," with Rosario Dawson; "Shrinking Charlotte," with Kathleen Turner; and Sylvester Stallone's "The Expendables," with Stallone, Jet Li and Jason Statham.
In 2005, she signed on as the spokesmodel for Jordache Jeans. She has been named to both FHM's 10 Sexiest Women List, and Maxim's Hot 100.
In 2006, she released the single "Faster Kill Pussycat," which became a club hit on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play chart. She also covered Queen's "Somebody to Love" and Earth, Wind & Fire's "Boogie Wonderland" for the film "Happy Feet."
She married screenwriter Monjack in 2007; before that, she was engaged to talent manager Jeff Kwatinetz, and production assistant Joe Macaluso. In late 2002, she dated Ashton Kutcher, with who she co-starred in the film "Just Married."
Kutcher late Sunday morning tweeted about Murphy's death: "2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany's family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon."

Its really sad when someone dies that young, They had their whole life ahead of them. Sounds like she had a lot going on in her life. I feel for her family.

She underwent a transformation from a too-pudgy-for-Hollywood brunette to a skinny blonde whose ample cleavage landed her in Maxim's 100 hottest women in 2003.
After appearing underweight with super-plump lips in the last few years, rumors have swirled about drug use and plastic surgery.
Last month, Murphy's husband of two years, Simon Monjack, was rushed to a hospital after his plane landed at Los Angeles Airport. He was incoherent when EMTs boarded the plane.
In October, cops got a call from neighbors complaining that a frantic Murphy was on her balcony screaming about gunshots being fired near her home in Hollywood

Sorry if you feel my statement was rude- but seriously the girl used to have a glow about her, and ever since she married that 'man' her glow went away and she started going down hill. she was a wonderful actress that most likely went down the wrong path.
by no means do i find her death funny, it is quite sad. just calling it as i see it- i'm not one to sugar coat things.
You, yes you, lemme see YOU walk on water!!

Its obvious by her pic she was on drugs but regardless she was still very young I loved her as an actress I didnt know much about her personal life though
To see the future you must forget your past...otherwise your past will become your future

It is extremely sad and I liked her as an actress.
Nowhere did I say anyone found her death funny. What I said was that it's disrespectful to talk like that about someone who just died. I just think there was a better, more respectful, even classier, way to make the comment. No one asked for sugar coating, lord knows you don't do it with anything else you talk about.

to talk like what exactly? i feel that you are wanting it sugar coated because honestly the obvious comparasion of her past and recent photos are drastic. The glow was gone, as was the spark in her eyes, simple observations that i made, signs that something was not right in her world. would i say things like that about someone i personally know, sure.
but since you personally know me and know the exact tone inwhich i am saying something, whatever for real.
furthermore it's okay for everyone here to pass judgement along about someone as long as they're breathing, but once they happen to pass on better not speak anything that could be semi-negative about them. i'd love to just search the forums for threads when MJ died- was anyone jumped on for saying anything like(and this is not me speaking here just examples) 'finally chester's dead'...seriously c'mon now....
