McNair met Kazemi at the Dave & Buster’s restaurant where she worked as a server and where when his family ate often. The two began dating a few months ago in a relationship that included a vacation with parasailing. Photos posted on TMZ.com showed McNair gazing and smiling at the young Kazemi.
The victim’s sister, Soheyla Kazemi, told the Florida Times-Union in Jacksonville that the young woman had expected McNair to get a divorce. “She said they were planning to get married.”
Nashville courts had no record of a McNair divorce case, but a home he owned in Nashville is on the market for $3 million.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP)—A relative of the woman found shot to death with Steve McNair(notes) says Nashville police told him she recently purchased a gun.
Farzin Abdi is Sahel Kazemi’s nephew, but the two were raised together like brother and sister. Abdi says he does not believe Kazemi would have killed the former Tennessee Titans quarterback and herself.
The two were found dead on Saturday in a condominium owned by McNair.
Abdi says police told him they are almost sure the 20-year-old Kazemi was the shooter, but he says she had no motive.
Nashville police didn’t immediately have a reaction to Abdi’s comments.
Abdi says Kazemi believed McNair was divorcing his wife and she was preparing to sell her furniture to move in with him.

Police spokesman Don Aaron has said Sahel Kazemi purchased the gun on Thursday night from a private owner and there were a total of five shots fired.
Gun was purchased after Kazemi's DUI arrest.
They are having a press conference right now..

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Police say the gun found at the scene where former NFL star Steve McNair died was bought by his girlfriend less than two days before the two were shot to death.
Nashville police spokesman Don Aaron said Monday that 20-year-old Sahel Kazemi bought the semiautomatic handgun Thursday evening from a person he didn't name.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Three of the four gunshot wounds that killed Steve McNair were fired from more than three feet away, according to autopsy results.
One of the gunshots to McNair’s temple was fired at close range, said Bruce Levy, Tennessee medical examiner.
Sahel Kazemi’s own gunshot wound was a contact shot, meaning the gun was touching her head when it was fired. Kazemi, a friend of McNair, was found dead with McNair on Saturday.
The medical examiner’s office will be using all the information from the investigation to determine whether Kazemi’s death was homicide or suicide, Levy said, because it usually takes much more than a wound to classify a death as a suicide.
In this case, there is no note, and no living witness.
“All the autopsy tells us is that her wound is potentially self inflicted,” Levy said. “In these cases, the cause of death is obvious. The manner of death a little trickier. We like to have as many factors as possible before we make a determination.”
Levy said while the case is certainly consistent with a murder-suicide scenario, there are several things that are atypical: men are usually the perpetrator, and there is typically a history of domestic violence in the relationship or mental issues in the shooter. So far, neither factor is present, Levy said.

According to a release issued by Steve McNair's agent Bus Cook, a second memorial service has been set for Saturday in Hattiesburg.
The service will begin promptly at 11 a.m. at Reed Green Coliseum on the campus of the University of Southern Mississippi, the release states.
The release also states, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Steve McNair Foundation, 1 Willow Bend Drive, Hattiesburg, MS 39402.

Internet Post Brings Twist To McNair Murder

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Another twist in Steve McNair's murder and Sahel Kazemi's death is an Internet posting that has a lot of people talking.
A MySpace page said to belong to someone named Jett Jackson, though we are told by friends that that is not the author's real name, posted a comment on his page.
The page said it was last updated on July 2, two days before the murder. The post said in part, ‘Who is McNair in 09? RIP Sahel Kazemi.'
Metro police are working with MySpace to figure out if the post was really posted two days before the murder.

I just heard the official news report and they ruled it an murder suicide.
Said she killed him while he was a sleep on the couch.
And she told friends she thought there was another woman, she followed the other woman on 2 occassions.
So it was jealously turned bad!

well surprise! of course he had another woman....his wife. and he was playing with her on the side...to be sure she couldn't have thought she was special. women need to wake up.
