A California man is accused of possibly blinding his four year old son in gruesome fashion.

Police say 34-year-old Angelo Mendoza bit an eyeball out of his four year old son's face and ate it.

The boy had numerous bites to his hands and his eyes were swollen shut.

Doctors said the boy's left eye and muscle were missing; his other eye is mutilated beyond repair.

The police report said Mendoza appeared to be on PCP.

Mendoza was arrested on charges of aggravated mayhem, torture, and cruelty to a child. Police say the toddler is now in the custody of child protective services.

Mendoza is due in court Wednesday.

His bail is set at one million dollars.

Poor baby. Thats why I hope no drugs are ever legalized. The more they can get the more they want.

OMG! Wow that man needs his eyes burned out!!!

just an FYI marijuana would not make anyone bite their kids eye out. Not that you specifically pointed out that particular drug. Just MHO

Even is marijuana was legalized you would still have all the other drugs for the war on the border. It's only a drop in the bucket.

The guy had to be crazy on some drug. Druggies should have their children taken away so these things do not happen.

How horrible. That poor child. The b@stard needs to be put into a cage of starving jackals as their buffet. There's a place in hell waiting for him.
