Define 'eventually', a time frame please. It hasn't made other countries independent of oil. All it's really done is given them 10.00 per gal gas prices.

It depends upon how fast we can get the new technology built and online. I would say at least 2 years.

The 52 quotes confuses me. Not one of them is even remotely as bad as many of the W-isms that we heard. "Is our children learning?" "Good job Brownie." "Mission accomplished." etc, etc, etc. Besides, obviously Obama is doing a fantastic job. Afterall, we haven't been attacked while he's been in office.

    "Make the pie higher!"

You know, I saw the most interesting poll the other day. The question was "Is Capitalism better than Socialism?" Only 53% of those polled said yes.

The supposition is is that people like Obama and the far right keeps calling him a Socialist so people think it's not so bad.

I guess you need to be careful with slander.

If all we need is the technology built and online, why implement cap and trade. Why not just wait until the technology is built? Or is it cause GE wouldn't make a fortune on trading the carbon credits, therefore no payback for all the propaganda put out by OSNBC?

Why are you confused? They quotes were picked by Assosciated Press and were not chosen to mock or belittle anyone. I quess that whole "respect the Office if not the holder" concept only applies if you voted for the officeholder ?? I am sure with very little effort I could pick out some charming "misspoken" statements or a litany of "uh... well..." but I was trying to draw attention to the milestone of "100 Days"

Besides, obviously Obama is doing a fantastic job.
I refer you to the first post in this thread ... clearly some do not feel he is "doing a fantastic job" although the list needs to be updated.

How do you feel about his complaint about being "left with a 1.3 Billion dollar deficit" while he signs for a 3 TRILLION ... and growing ... deficit ?

Even potato with an 'e' couldn't top 'been to 57-58 states'.

If he can keep that up for 8 years, great. I can say Bush did that, I can't say he was doing a fantastic job. His people had their hands in this mess, too. There are several things that could be done to try and mend it without gambling everything we've got.

With the recent releases of the CIA non-torture memos (pictures to come) and the apology tour.....

The NYPost commemorates Barack Obama’s milestone with 100 days, 100 mistakes. http://www.nypost.com/seven/04252009...kes_166177.htm

Have to continue to wonder if a “R” had won the Whitehouse and made 1% of these errors what we’d be reading in the news?

Seems like it has been a hell of a lot longer than 100 days, hasn’t it? Lemme see here, it took him only 100 days to put about 100 generations of Americans in debt up to their eyeballs. That’s gotta be a record!

Our net worth has been diminished by half, and I now understand why. Click on “Obama Deception” ….not pleasant, but a must read. http://trueworldhistory.info/

First, I have absolutely no idea what OSNBC might be.

The reason for cap and trade is discourage industry from spewing carbon into the atmosphere and encouraging them to use cleaner technologies.

If McCain had won the presidency, I would be reading about his mistakes. You would not. The New York Post is owned by Newscorp. That's the same corporation that owns Faux News. I would not expect to see a factual account from any Newscorp source.

No, it doesn't seem like it's been longer than 100 days.
