This is a link to a little video. I found this on the Texas Tattler blog and I found it to be rather interesting and amusing at the same time. Mind you, this blogger is a gun enthusiast (sp?) and as you know, they have gun control in Canada and this is actually where the video is from.

All this has EVER been about to the people in charge is CONTROL. That is the operative word!
They don't actually WAN'T to control criminal use of firearms, they wan't to be able to dominate and control the populace!!

It already has!! After hurricane Katrina Local Authoriteies with help from local Guardsmen and Reservists disarmed Lawful American cititzens!!!
Wake up people! The left are Communists who KNOW that there will be some who would resist having THEIR wealth "transferred" to others without their permission. THAT is why they are SO for Gun Control, yet seem not to care about actually punishing criminals!

You can't just blame this on the "left". It seems that more and more both major parties are a part of it. It just depends on who hands out the biggest payment for their vote. These things are going on and you don't see our elected officials doing anything to stop them...either Democrat or Republican.

I'm inclined to think the Republicans (not the rinos) have a much better track record for defending our rights than the dems. EG, gun control,illegal immigration,etc.

I ....like...was so...like annoyed by the girl...that I like stopped watching after.....like a minute or so.
Really I thought it was satire. If they would just lay it out straight what they are getting at it would be easier to understand.

I know that my Republican senators have been fighting to uphold conservatve values.If it hadn't been for the Repubs,we would have an Amnesty bill in effect. I don't consider myself a Repub. anymore, but I
think they are more in touch with Amerca than the Dems.,who cater more to special interests.

You can go to the NRA website for voting support or to ontheissues.org you can actually SEE where your people stand by how they have voted.
TYPICALLY, gun control is VERY much a Democrat(ic) platform whle the MAJORITY of Republicans either steer clear or support individual Gun ownership.
A handful of republicans (Giuliani, Bloomberg etc.) that support gun control do NOT take away from the FACTS.
Republicans (on the whole) tend to be Against abortion, against gun control, against the gay agenda, PRO death penalty, pro tough defense and national security etc etc.
While the Dems (especially the ultra leftist liberals) tend to disagree on EVERY one of those issues.
There are exceptions to EVERY rule of course. In this case the exceptions PROVE the rule. (when you look into the numbers)

i know what you mean, she was annoying.
