Yes! Not so bad now after several cups have been made....my hubby dosnt seem to notice it though? I sure do, but then again I am super sensitive to tastes and smells.
I was thinking because it is new or maybe the columbian flavor....I am getting some regular blend tomorrow and I will see if that works

I received mine and just when I thought it was going to brew a great cup of coffee, instead it made a weird "electric" sound and a bunch of smoke came out of it! What a piece of crap!

I have contacted both Home Cafe and BzzAgent and so far nothing has been resolved.

I am not sure it is plastic, but has a smell and a bad taste. Glad I didn't buy this, would have been a waste of money.
