we really like ours.
my husband and I both have one. have never had a problem getting out and losing anyone on them. unlike some other phone services.
no high monthly bills either.

Hi. I need a referral. Actually need 2. But I'm not sure this will work. I've had these 2 phones & both the numbers and minutes expired a long time ago. do the phones have to be new or can they be one someone else has had and is deactivated? My dd who is pregnant and due in may I was thinking about getting her one but cant really afford to buy a new one for her and doing the referral thing so she would have a phone when her time comes. If anyone knows please let me know.

Michelle, That is a really nice thing to do for your DD. You can get Tracfones pretty cheaply and WalMart, Target, Sam's, but I don't know the cost there. If you have Dollar General stores, ours have Tracfones for $20. A better deal is on the Tracfone website. If you buy a $19.99 (60 minutes) card you get a free reconditioned phone. That and a referral would get 160 minutes and a phone for only $19.99. (plus shipping....I almost forgot that.)

Depending on when you buy a phone on the website, there are usually codes around to get extra minutes.
