Wow!It looks so big and old,it just screams"HAUNTED"to me.Did you actually sleep there or just a tour?I would love to stay overnight,not sure I would have the guts though.

We actually saw it driving by, and went in and looked around. We didnt do the whole tour because we were in a hurry to get some other places, so just toured the grounds and some of the open rooms. It was too expensive for us to spend the night....I wanted to....But my son who loves horror movies swears this one is the only one that has seriously freaked him out. There is a scene where Jack Nicholson walks into a room and there is this gorgeous woman in the bathtub, but as he starts kissing her, she turns old, and horrid looking, skin starts falling off, etc. That scene freaked my son out....and swears he wouldnt stay there, LOL.

lol My 14 yr old was allowed to see this movie(without my consent)a few years ago.Needless to say,we go through shower curtains like crazy.She can not go to the bathroom without ripping the curtain open to make sure there really isn't an old lady lying in our tub.

It is a beautiful hotel though. Do they have the maze too or was that filmed elsewhere?
