Kmart has super doubles (up to and including $1 coupons) January 4 to January 9!!!

it is nationwide and it is UNANNOUNCED (not like in month's past)..

and it is ONLY up to $1.00 (so coupons that are over $1 are face value)

I got all excited until I saw it was only up to $1...did they realize they were losing too much money?

I have a lot of $1 coupons, now I have to come up with money to go shopping!!

I was taken aback when I called our Super Kmart to verify super doubles (because it was NOT listed in their ad!!!)

and she said up to $1.00...and I repeated it back (stunned)...and she said everyone is complaining! LOL

So maybe that's a sign. lol.

She did say that they got an email from corporate on Sunday morning with the announcement of chainwide super doubles..but I would call your local store just to be sure.

I have 2 stores that double up to 1.00(Krogers and a local spartan store) already so it is not worth the trip to Kmart for this one, if it were for the super double up to 2.00 bucks then definately!

LOL. Wow.

I just called my local Kmart to confirm and I said "Hi, I heard you were running a double coupon event up to $1.." and the girl goes "OOOOOOOOOOkay." I said "Are you not?" She goes "yeah we are."

The rudeness sometimes....

Well..I don't have many coupons but now I shall shuffle through them and go grab a few things.

I am wondering why they A.) Didn't announce it. and B.) It's only up to/including $1...I wonder if this is their way of experimenting and seeing how many people would still show up without a paper advertisement or as good of a deal.

They must warn us of these things so I can hoard coupons!

Does anyone know if Kmart takes Internet printed coupons?
also I looked at the online ads from kmart.com and saw this sundays ad has the super double vent for up to 2.00 from 1/11-1/17

they say they dont take internet coupons but some cashiers will, so just try to use them and see.....my Kmart(s) always do but I heard others dont.
