Well, according to OP, BOTH rebates wanted the original receipt. Therefore, what you are talking about is different. I, too, have done the store and manufacturer rebates when they are offered in conjunction (often Circuit City or Best Buy). But if that is the case, one (usually the store rebate) will say that a photocopy is acceptable or a second receipt will print out automatically.
So, I disagree with you. If both rebates ask for the ORIGINAL RECEIPT then I highly doubt that they are to be redeemed together.
