Going to California next week

I understand that Cali supermarkets double to $1.00? Here in Boston they only double to 99 cents, needless to say I've got a pile of $1.00 c/o's. Any hints or tips on how to get max value, which stores are best etc. Thanks in advance.

I'll be in central CA and in the Bay area

Here in Bakersfield only Ralph's doubles up to $1.. but in LA and other areas Vons doubles up to $1 as well. I'm sure the other users will give you lots of help too. Have fun here in CA.

San Diego Ralphs and Vons both double up to $1.00
Make sure you join Ralphs and Vons club for the extra savings
Also look in Sunday's Papers and in the A section (normally A) you can find the extra coupons to use with the coupons that are in the paper for Ralphs

Remember that Ralphs only doubles 2 like coupons, and Von's only doubles 1 like coupon.

woohoo!! coming to my neighborhood! repliers are right! ralphs is the only store here central and northern that doubles up to a $1 and they only except 2 like coupons at a time! but also wanted to let you know if your here for a length of a time..san francisco chronicle has the best coupons and also the sunday (the californian) paper has differant coupons in it as to the routine list that u find listed on some sites so u get a bit of surprizes in a variety of good value coupons along with some that are rountine lists! hope i explained that ok!

Unfortunately here in Modesto which is in Stanislaus County, I have yet to find a supermarket that doubles and/or triples. I wish though. With 4 kids to feed it would help out a great deal. Have fun out here though.
