I soooo miss my job at the newspaper

Wow, the only way I'm able to get coupons is by buying the paper or going to the grocery store and seeing what is in the coupon machines or from manufacturers via postal mail. I wouldn't mind a little dumpster diving if there were some good ones in there. Lately money's been tight so every little bit helps.

Any other methods of getting coupons out there?

I love it....I read this when it was first posted and thought...YUCK, I wouldn't pick in someones trash area...Well, Friday before dh & I went away for our weekend getaway I had to take the trash to the dump. There are 2 separate buildings for the recyclables and 1 for trash. I went into the recycling building and low and behold there was a HUGE stash of coupons NEVER cut out. from the last month. I would guess about 100 inserts. So I started looking through all the papers and got tons of inserts some cut some uncut. There is a sign that says no scavaging but the man who works there said they mean for the fridges and stoves and that stuff outside the building and if I can use them to save me some money to go ahead and take them. So now I plan to go again every week and get me some $$........

The hotel I work at get sooo many sunday papers that is where I have got mine from. The Mgr just laughs at me as I take all the ads out of the papers all 60 of them LOL

I have not went dumpster diving since I was a child , I remember we would go to this huge dump site and look for things, mostly aluminam cans for recycling. My mom had 5 kids and we didn't have much money...

Yes I remember us even going into the salvation army sites and goodwill sites to get what we could get..

I'm now 43 this was years ago.. I wouldn't advise this now adays that is jail time and a huge fine.. ( might of been even back then not sure)

I do pick up things on the side of the road sometimes but avoid dumpsters and dump sites when possible..

I haven't thought about going thru recycle bins....... I have many times thought about stealing the coupons out of my neighbor's papers......But I haven't!
