Rite Aid Rebate Help for August ~mentadent purchase~

Hi, I know this may be moved to another forum, but I figured I would post it here because this is where everyone looks for the rite aid deals. I purchased the mentadent toothpaste in early august ($1.00 rebate) but it doesnt show up on my list. I have emailed them 3 times already and each time they tell me to wait ANOTHER 5 days for it to show up. I emailed them again tonite demanding (in nicer words, lol) that they take action and not just tell me to wait 5 days because my rebate check must be requested in 3 days or less. Is there anything else I can or should do? I know its only $1.00, but if rite aid says that I can get the rebate, they need to stand behind their advertising, you know what I mean?

I just looked and I didn't get credit either. I emailed them about it... maybe it was an error in their system? Anyone else get credit or not get credit for it?

I didn't make the Mentadent purchase, but I have had trouble in the past getting 1 particular Rite Aid's purchases to post (I've since started avoiding that Rite Aid altogether, unless I cannot find what I want at any other Rite Aid in the immediate area). Anyway, I faxed in a copy of a receipt that they said they didn't have. If you have your receipt, fax in a copy with the item that should have a rebate circled, the offer number from the promotion directory and your full name and mailing address to 1-800-457-2243. Or, you can send same to:
Rite Aid SCR
PO Box 8340
Wilmington, DE 19803

Oh, one last thing....if they mess up and don't give you credit, then the expiration date doesn't really matter. They'll issue you a separate check.

Did they get back to you again? I sent them an email on the 7th when I saw this and just got this as a reply:

Dear Susana Garcia,

Thank you for your interest in Rite Aid's Single Check Rebates program.

We have issued an adjustment check for you in the amount of $1.00 for
the August program (item #65). The next time you log into your online
account the check will appear on the left hand side of the screen as 'An
Adjustment Check for $1.00 has been processed.' An approximate mail
date will be given for your records. Please allow 12-15 business days to
receive the check. Note that the check is remitted in the form of a
postcard.

We appreciate your participation in this promotion. If you have any
further questions, please contact us at rebates@riteaid.com.

Looks good. Thanks for posting this, it compleatly slipped past me. It's only a buck, but still. Besides, I only bought the toothpaste because it was free- I have about 8 other boxes of toothpaste I've gotten free too. I'm all pasted out.

I just got that same email. I waited until the last minute for it to show up on my rebate list, but of course it never did. I'm just glad that I dont have to go to the trouble of faxing them my receipt, etc.

I had the same problem, i had to call cust svc three times and got different answers each time. last call i made the CSR said that it was a computer system error, and that it would be included in my rebate check, even though it may not show up on the website. Jacka$$es!!!!!
