Big Kroger Shopping Trip - Saved $491.25
Went on my big Kroger's shopping expedition tonight and just finished putting things away.
Ended up with 3 shopping carts full of grocery foods & a some shampoos too. This has been my biggest shopping trip yet. $491.25 in total savings (double $1 coupons, Kroger Plus Card) + $223.76 in cash = $715.01 total of groceries! WooHoo!!!! Purchased a total of 256 ITEMS. Received many items for free w/ coupons - Finesse shampoo, crabmeat, eggs, chicken, beef, lunchmeat, school supplies, steak sauces, Kraft groceries, and got multiples of those. And I found a 75 cents off a gallon of milk w/ the purchase of those refrig. ready to bake cookies (2 pkgs that I had $1.00 off coupons for). My other goodie was buying Reynolds Wrap - had a coupon for it - and then get $1.50 off meat/chicken/seafood. I had a coupon from Kroger's for $2 off 5 Hot Pockets, and coupons for each box too. That was another savings. Free dozen eggs w/ the purchase of 2 Muffin mix/brownie mix. Did not have coupons for Life cereal, 2 posters for DS#1, and Jack's Pizzas. Everything else had a coupon. Freezer is packed. I could have shopped more, but was getting really tired. DS#1 helped me most of the time. We are set for quite a while. Thanks for sharing my excitement. Angie |

Congratulations! I'm impressed!
I wish Krogers doubled to a dollar everywhere. I might actually shop there if they did. |
