This is happening on other boards that I'm a member of, too. I'm not sure if maybe somehow they're related? they are all php boards.
Anyway, usually it resolves itself in a week or two.

This is what I got when I emailed them my notifications weren't working:
All email notifications have been turned off due to technical problems with the board. There is no indication of what time they will be turned back on. I'm sorry.

I cant get them either?? I havent gotten them in months , I checked my preferences and it is turned on? Is there a trick to getting them?

I don't know why this old thread was bumped back up..... but here is the answer (as discussed in more recent threads).
All email notifications have been turned off due to technical problems. There is no indication of when they will be turned back on.
That is all that is known right now.... but you will know when (IF) it is turned back on....
