I use kazaa. Not only do I download music but also movies. sometimes though you have to watch out as idiots switch the movie names around and when you think you are downloading one thing it is actually another.

I've been using http://www.kazaa.com for about nine months or longer. It's free and not too slow! Give it a try ... it's so far the best one I've found. I started with Napster, and it got shut down. Then, I used Audiogalaxy, and it, too, got shut down. I have my fingers crossed with this one!

By the way, you can not only download music but also full movies and music videos.

Kazaa is very good but has spyware on it that will not only track your online surfing but slows down your access speed. I recommend using the Kazaa lite software that is offered online and has eliminated the spyware. Happy downloading!

I've been using Kazaa Lite, no ads, no spyware, has Cydoor fake file so Kazaa still works. Good speed on cable modem.
