Who Can I Report These Folks To?

On about three or four occasions, I have received email in my Yahoo account that is addressed FROM me TO me....It contains links to porno sites, and I am FURIOUS!!! Somehow, I think these folks got my address book as I am receiving them in alternate (junk mail) accounts I have too.

I am really concerned that they may send some of this scum to people in my address book as if it came from me!!! I cannot reply to them as it only goes back to my email address...I DID click on one of the links one time and used the "Contact Us" button and threatened to report them and it stopped for a few weeks; however, they have started again and I really don't know who to report them to...Anyone else????!!!!!!

I definitely want this to be taken care of as it could be a very embarrassing situation...I know I didn't get this from a porn site because I NEVER go to porn sites, although unknowingly a few pop-up windows have come up in the past.

Anyone know what I can do?????!!!!!! Would really appreciate your help...Thanks!!!!

I don't know if it will help, but since it's a Yahoo account have you tried reporting it to them?

Hope you get it straightened out- that's really awful!

Happens to me and DH all the time....We have never figured out how to stop it.

i got this on my Iwon.com email account. i clicked on the link to "report as spam" and explained how it "says" its being sent BY me TO me. i forgot what explaination i recv. back from Iwon.com but i havent seen anymore lately. i have never had this happen on my Yahoo email. i hate to think how some people have all this time to do all this horrible stuff to good people like us.

I keep getting ones from mkmachandekennels@ numerous email domains..pisses me off.

Especially since that's not my email, but it's my user name.
