Prizes:

Grand Prize: One (1) winner will receive all of the show's 2012 "12 Days of Giveaways" gifts. (Estimated ARV: $24,000)

Daily Prizes: Seventy (70) winners will each receive round trip coach airfare for the winner and one (1) guest from a major U.S. airport nearest the winner's home (as determined by the sponsor in its sole discretion) to Los Angeles departing on the day before the date of a taping of the show's "12 Days of Giveaways" episode (selected by the sponsor in its sole discretion after consultation with the winner), and returning the day after the taping date; hotel accommodations for two (double occupancy) in Los Angeles for one (1) day and two (2) nights; round trip ground transportation from the hotel to the show's studio; and one (1) ticket for the winner to attend the show's "12 Days of Giveaways" taping. Entry Limit: One (1) entry per person per household per day per show episode during each day of the entry period. Entries submitted on any given day during the entry period must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT. Entries may be submitted only on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays during the entry period. Entries received on a Saturday or Sunday will be declared ineligible and will be discarded.

Prize Limit: One (1) daily prize per person. All daily prize winners and all entries received during the entry period are eligible to win the grand prize.

Eligibility: Legal residents who are physically residing in one of the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States and who are least at twenty-one (21) years old as of the date of entry. Residents of Alaska; Hawaii; the District of Columbia; Puerto Rico; American Samoa; Guam; all other United States territories, possessions, and protectorates; foreign-based United States embassies and military installations; and Canada are not eligible to enter.

Important Additional Information:

To enter the contest, watch one or more episodes of the show which are broadcast during the entry period.

On each episode of the show broadcast during the entry period, a question will appear onscreen. The question will change Monday through Friday of the entry period.

Following each broadcast, go to the entry form and fill in the following required fields:

(1) Correctly answer the question of the day from the episode of the show that was broadcast on the day you are entering;

(2) Complete the entry form by entering the following information: your first name; last name; email address; home phone number with area code (cell phone number is optional), street address, city, state, zip code, country, date of birth, and verification that you are at least 21 years of age and have read and accept the Official Rules.

NOTE: Although Canada is listed as an option in the country field, the Official Rules state that Canadian residents are not eligible to enter.

(3) Submit an essay of no more than 2000 characters explaining why you deserve to win.

(4) Upload a recent photo of yourself. No other person may appear in the photograph. The photo must be in one of the following formats only: JPEG (including JPEG and JPG but not JPE); GIF; PNG or BMP.

You will be disqualified if you do not fill in all the required fields.

The potential grand prize winner will be chosen based on judging of the essay using the following judging criteria: (i) the originality of the essay (33 1/3%); (ii) the creativity of the essay (33 1/3%); and (iii) the entrant’s sincerity and demonstrated need for the prize (33 1/3%). The entrant whose essay earns the highest overall score will be announced as the grand prize winner. In the event of a tie, the grand prize winner will be selected from the entrant essay with the highest originality score; in the event there still remains a tie, the grand prize winner will be selected from the entrant essay with the highest creativity score. The grand prize winner will be selected on or about Friday, September 14, 2012.

One (1) daily prize winner will be selected each day during the entry period via a random drawing from all eligible entries received on the day of the drawing, and will be notified by telephone and/or email on the day of or after the drawing that she or he, subject to verification, is a daily prize winner.

If, within one (1) hour of the sponsor's first attempt to reach a potential daily prize winner, the potential daily prize winner: (i) cannot be reached, (ii) fails to respond to the notification, or (iii) declines the prize, an alternate potential daily prize winner may be selected in the sponsor's sole discretion.

If, within five (5) hours of the sponsor's notification, the potential daily prize winner: (i) fails to return a completed affidavit of eligibility, liability/publicity release, or other documents(s) as required by the sponsor, (ii) fails to provide the sponsor with a copy of a valid government issued photo identification or social security number, and/or (iii) is found to be ineligible, an alternate daily prize winner may be selected at the sponsor's sole discretion.

The potential grand prize winner must be available to travel to Los Angeles between Wednesday, November 28, 2012 and Wednesday, December 19, 2012 to attend a taping of one of the show's 12 Days of Giveaways episodes. The potential grand prize winner must also be available to remain in Los Angeles for at least two nights. The specific travel dates will be determined by the sponsor in its sole discretion in consultation with the potential grand prize winner.

Each daily prize winner's guest must be at least 21 years of age on the date of travel. Each daily prize winner must give advance notice to the sponsor of the daily prize winner's desired departure date.

The daily prize winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary. Each daily prize winner and guest is responsible for insurance and any other required travel documents, including valid identification. Failure to provide such documents may result in trip cancellation upon check-in. If the daily prize winner's current residence is located less than one hundred fifty (150) miles from the show's studio in Burbank, the sponsor may, at its sole discretion, provide round trip ground transportation instead of round trip coach airfare. Any difference between the ARV of the airfare and the ground transportation will not be awarded. In the event that any component of a daily prize is unavailable, canceled, or postponed for any reason, the remainder of that daily prize will be awarded with the exception of those components (as applicable) and the remaining elements of that daily prize shall constitute full satisfaction of the sponsor's prize obligation to that daily prize winner. If a daily prize winner elects to travel or partake in the trip without a guest, no additional compensation will be awarded.

Reservations and airline tickets are non-refundable for cash or credit, non-transferable and non-changeable once issued. Reservations are based on space availability. Once the reservation has been made, no amendments will be accepted. No extension of effective dates is permitted. The sponsor is not responsible for lost, damaged, or misplaced luggage. Lost airline tickets will not be replaced.

All other expenses including, without limitation, meals, ground transportation (except for the ground transportation that is part of the prize), telephone charges, movie charges, pay-per-view television charges, hotel room-service charges, merchandise, souvenirs, and any other incidental costs and expenses not identified in the Official Rules arel the sole responsibility of the daily prize winner and guest who incur such charges.

No transfer of a prize to a third party is permitted, and the cash value of a prize will not be awarded in lieu of a prize where it applies, except in Sponsor's sole discretion.
