Talking Thanks Shoe!

So, they get rid of the Oilers/Titans and now have the Texans? Sure wish teams as well as players would stay put, for the most part.

Question Hey........Bry?

I have to agree with you 100%, Free Agency has killed
ALL sports as far as I'm concerned! Players move to much
for the purpose of $$$ and $$$ only!

I also agree with you 100% on the teams. My question is,
why can't NEW TEAMS joining the league be intelligent
enough to pick a nickname that hasn't been used before?

Example:
Tennessee Titans? - Originally the N.Y. Jets were called
the N.Y. Titans!
Example:
Houston Texans? - Originally the Kansas City Chiefs were
called the Dallas Texans!

Billion dollar business and they can't even come up
with an original nickname for their teams! That sucks!

Sorry if anyone get's offended, Shoe just felt like
expressing his own personal opinion!

Talking Thinks...........dink!

It's been a while since we've heard from you,
welcome back!........The Shoe!
=============================

Just for you......louking!

I don't know why they're giving Mike Alstott all the credit!

Most Touchdowns, Game - 3

John Brockington (Green Bay, 1973), 2-Run, 1-Receiving
Mike Alstott (Tampa Bay, 2000), 3-Run
Jimmy Smith, (Jacksonville, 2000), 3-Receiving

I know it's a three way tie but I wonder
why they picked Alstott over the other two?

Talking Thanks dinkur6!

And Shoe, there we go again, agreeing on everything!

I'm waiting for baseball to get some kind of salary cap too just to help out the smaller market teams, like my Padres. Nothing against the Yankees, but heck they're buying everyone. They took Giambi from my A's

Okay, that's it for my $.02

Thanks louking.

Yes, very sad. He seemed like a good person, as well as a decent ball player. He was only 25, and left a wife and two kids. Sad...
