Thanks to all who posted the 14938 code~it still worked for me today. I bought a 60 min. card and had double time for life~with this card (add'l 60 min) it gave me an add'l 60minutes free.

Thank you! I just used code 14938 with a 120 min card and got 320 total minutes -> 120 double for life & 60 with the code.
I also received 60 extra service days in addition to the 90 from the card!! Yayyy!

Hey guys! I thought I'd drop a note to let you know what happened to me yesterday with tracfone.
First off the code 14938 did not work for me either (but it was not the code's fault...lol)...but that is not what I wanted to tell you...

I have been with tracfone for many years, so this shocked me.

I am presently in a location working this summer where there is NO cell signal service. I bought a 60 minute card from the online tracfone site. Since the minutes cannot be downloaded I have to manually put in the codes into the phone to get the minutes. so...while I was putting in the codes from the sight, one of the codes said "invalid" call tracfone to correct...so I did just that. I got a person on the line who could not speak english well, so I ask for someone who could, because I could not understand them...the person I was speaking too got mad at me, and I am telling you the truth, she did something and deleted the instructions on my PC screen with the codes for the minutes. I ask to speak to her supervisor, only to be told off by this person and told I have no minutes to add to my phone. Now get this...I have the charge for the minutes on my credit card...which now I have to get reversed, a copy of the transaction I printed out, as well as a copy of the screen before she deleted my minute download codes for the 60 minutes...and still tracfone says I am lying. I have never in my life dealt with such arrogance with a company. Grant you I was having angry words myself by the end of this conversation...but still could not believe this person I spoke to could make it look as though I have no minutes to add to the phone. I was so angry after this I threw my tracfone in the trash. Thought I'd share this with you guys...(most of you know me as I have been on bigbigforums for years)...in case you run into any problems like this...

I am so sorry to hear this but not at all surprised. I have only had a tracfone for a year now, gave up my regular cell because we are trying to cut back. When I first got my tracfone I had terrible trouble trying to activate it, took SIX hours. The person trying to help me barely spoke english, had no idea what to do. I called back seven, YES seven times (on hold each time) until I found someone who spoke english well enough to help me. They still repeatedly screwed up and I was on the phone with them for two hour straight. We thought we got it working and we hung up but still no activation. ON and ON...I spent my entire day off TRYING to get the thing activated and finally did. Customer service does not exist as far as I am concerned with tracfone and I do anything I can NEVER to call them about anything. I ran across some very impolite people, nasty people this first day, many that barely spoke english.

I BET our experiences are not unique!
